Abstract

The results of this study can be summarized as follows: 1) Consumers declare that promotion, brand image and purchase decisions A Mild cigarettes are categorized well. 2) Regression analysis result Ŷ = 15,181 + 0,297X1 + 0,765X2, meaning there is positive influence between promotion (X1) and brand image (X2) to decision of purchase (Y) A Mild cigarettes offered by PT Duta Media Indonesia Pematangsiantar Area. 3) Correlation value r = 0,653 which means there is moderately high and positive correlation between promotion, brand image and purchase decision of A Mild cigarettes offered by PT Duta Media Indonesia Pematangsiantar Area. The coefficient of determination is 0,427, meaning that the strongness of purchasing decision is explained by 42,7% by promotion and brand image. 4) Hypothesis Ho rejected, meaning promotion and brand image has a positive and significant effect on the decision of A Mild cigarette purchase offered by PT Duta Media Indonesia Pematangsiantar Area. The suggestion from the research result concludes that A Mild cigarettes offered by PT Duta Media Indonesia Pematangsiantar Area in the influence of purchasing decision, hence company must improve and improve promotion and image of A Mild cigarette brand. The better promotion and brand image of A Mild cigarettes, it will improve the purchase decision of A Mild cigarettes. Keywords: Promotion, Brand Image and Purchase Decision.

Abstract

The formulation of this research problem is how the influence of Leadership and Job Satisfaction on Work Discipline at Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar. The research method used in this paper is literature research and field research. Its population is employees of Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar amounted to 57 people. The data used are data by qualitative and qualitative data, and data collection techniques by questionnaire, interview and documentation. Then the technique of data analysis using qualitative descriptive method and quantitative descriptive method. Results of analysis of multiple linier regression is Ŷ = 26,243 + 1,232X1 + 0,681X2, means there is a positive influence between leadership and job satisfaction on work discipline. The strength of the relationship between the three variables is strong, is r = 0,752. From the coefficient of determination can be explained high low work discipline 56,5%, and the remaining 43,5% explained by other factors that are not discussed in this study. From the results of processing and calculation of the questionnaire, the authors get the conclusion that the leadership and job satisfaction applied Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar have a positive and significant effect on work discipline. This is proven by hypothesis testing simultaneously, where the test result fhitung (35,062)> fhitung (3,17) with significance level 0,000 < alpha 0,05. Abstract

The result of this research: 1. Brand equity, word of mouth and purchasing decisions already high. 2. The results of the regression analysis is Ŷ = 8,177 + 0,724X1 + 0,255X2, means this research have positive between of the brand equity and word of mouth on consumer purchasing decisions. 3. The results of correlation analysis obtained by r = 0,813 , it mean there is a high correlation and positive between the brand equity and word of mouth, to consumer purchasing. Purchasing decisions are influenced by the brand equity and word of mouth of 66.2%. 4. The hypothesis of research H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, it means that the brand equity and word of mouth positive and significant effect of the purchase on the Oppo smartphone either simultaneously or partial. As for the suggestion of this research is to increase brand equity, the need for sophisticated feature innovations in accordance with the wishes of consumers selfie features with the quality front camera which is very nice as well as the resolution of the camera that is large enough for the sake of who were the selfie. To preserve the word of mouth on the Oppo smartphone, then spread information or promotion through advertising in prime time hours, preferably with a more interesting advertising concept that users increasingly Oppo smartphone products. Whereas, to maintain the increasing konsumenn purchasing decisions, by making innovations in presenting a unique design and specification put forward in order to get the attention of consumers. Abstract

The results of this study can be summed summarized as follows: 1. Intellectual Ability is high, ethic of work is high enough and employee performance is high. 2. Regression analysis result is Ŷ = 33,312 + 0,306X1 + 0,302X2, meaning there is positive influence between intellectual ability and ethic of work on employee performance. 3. The results of the analysis correlations is r = 0,660 which means there is a moderately high and positive correlation between intellectual ability and ethic of work with employee performance. The level of employee performance can be explained 43,6% by intellectual ability and ethic of work. 4. Hypothesis test result stated that H0 is rejected, it means intellectual ability and ethic of work have positive and significant influence on employee performance at PT BPRS Amanah Bangsa Pematangsiantar simultaneously and partially. The suggestions of this research is: 1. To strengthen the intellectual ability, the agency should provide opportunities for further education. 2. To improve ethic of work, employee should try to be more sincere and grateful in working for improving the quality of work. 3. Abstract

The purpose of this study are: 1. To determine the description of work discipline and communication and the employee’s performance at Kantor Badan Pertanahan Nasional (BPN) Kota Pematangsiantar. 2. To determine the influence of work discipline and communication on employee’s performance at Kantor Badan Pertanahan Nasional (BPN) Kota Pematangsiantar simultaneously and partially. This research is done with library research and field research. The data types are cualitative and quantitative data, the data sources are primer and secondary data. The population in this research is as much as 31 respondents. The data collection is done with questionnaire, interview and documentation. Technical analysis used is multiple linear regression, coefficient of correlation, coefficient of determination and hypothesis test F test and t test. The results of the study can be summarized as follows: 1. work discipline, communication and employee’s performance is good. 2. The results of regression analysis is Ŷ= 34,319 + 0,445X1 + 0,638X2 it means that work discipline and communication had a positive influence on employee’s performance. 3. The results of correlations analysis get value r= 0,826, it means that there is a high and positive correlation between work discipline, communication with employee’s performance. Further obtained coefficient of determination (R) = 0.682 means the level of employee’s performance can be explained as much as 68,2% by work discipline and communication. 4. The results of hypothesis test H0 is rejected, it means that work discipline and communication had a positive and significant influence on employee’s performance simultaneously and partially. The suggestion of this research is to improve the work discipline, 1. the leadership must be more firmly to give sanction for anyone who violates the rules. 2. To influence communication, the leadership and the subordinates must create good relations in order to achieve a conducive working environment. 3. to optimize the employee’s performance, the leadership have to apply the rules so that employees can implement the rules properly. Abstract

The formulation of this research problem is how the influence of Cultural Organization and Commitment to the Teacher Performance at SMK GKPS 2 Pematangsiantar. The research method used in this paper is literature research and field research. Its population is employees of SMK GKPS 2 Pematangsiantar amounted to 64 people. The data used are data by qualitative and qualitative data, and data collection techniques by questionnaire, interview and documentation. Then the technique of data analysis using qualitative descriptive method and quantitative descriptive method. Results of analysis of multiple linear regression is Ŷ = 68,710 + 0,715X1 + 0,914X2 means there is a positive influence between cultural organization and commitment on teacher performance. The strength of the relationship between the three variables is strong, is r = 0,672. From the coefficient of determination can be explained high low employee performance 45,2% and the remaining 54,8% explained by other factors that are not discussed in this study. From the results of processing and calculation of the questionnaire, the authors get the conclusion that the cultural organization and commitment applied SMK GKPS 2 Pematangsiantar have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. This is proven by hypothesis testing simultaneously, where the test result fhitung (25,170) > fhitung (3,15) with significance level 0,000 < alpha 0,05. Abstract

The formulation of this research problem is how the influence of motivation and work environment on employee performance at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Balimbingan Business Unit. The research method used in this paper is literature research and field research. Its population is employees PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Balimbingan Business Unit amounted to 59 people. Given the number  of respondents less than 100 people to answer the quetionaiere that the author distributed and the availability of time of the author and for the accuracy of the results of research. The data used is data by qualitative and quantitative data, and data collection techniques by questionnaire, interview and documentation. Then the technique of data analysis using qualitative descriptive method and quantitative descriptive method. Result of analysis from linear regresi modestly that is Ŷ=8,697 + 0,809X1 + 0,6439X2 meaning there are positive influence between motivation and work environment on employee performance. The strength of relationship between the variables is very strength, that is r= 0,775. From coefficient determinasi can be explainable high low employee performance 60 %, and the rest 40 % explained by other factor not discussed in this study. From result of processing and calculation of questionnaires,the authors get the assumption that the motivation and work environment applied  PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Balimbingan Business Unit . This matter is proved by hypothesis test either simultaneously where result test the fhitung (42,034) > ttabel (3,16) and which significant 0,000 < alpha 0,05.   Keywords: Motivation, Work Environment and Employee Performance

Abstract

The formulation of this research problem is how the influence of communication and work ethic on the performance of marketers in PT Prudential Life Assurance Achievement Agency PS-1 Pematang Siantar. The research method used in this paper is literature research and field research. The population is 70 people marketers and the sample in this study as many as 70 people. The data used are data by qualitative and qualitative data, and data collection techniques by questionnaire, interview and documentation. Then the technique of data analysis using qualitative descriptive method and quantitative descriptive method. The result of analysis from multiple linear regression is Ŷ = 8,824 + 0,328X1 + 0,389X2, meaning that communication and work ethic have positive effect to marketer performance. The strength of the relationship between the three variables is very strong, ie r = 0.680. From the coefficient of determination can be explained the high performance of market power 46.3%, and the remaining 53.7% explained by other factors that are not discussed in this study. From the results of processing and calculation of the questionnaire, the authors get the conclusion that communication and work ethic at PT Prudential Life Assurance Agency PS-1 have a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction. This is proven by hypothesis testing simultaneously, where the test result fhitung (28,828)> ftabel (3,13) with significance level 0,000 <alpha 0,05. Abstract

As for this research problem formula is how to influence Motivation and work ethic to employee performance at Badan Narkotika Nasional Kota Pematangsiantar. Design of this research was done by using the design of library research and field research. The population used in this research is all employees at Badan Narkotika Nasional Kota Pematangsiantar which amounted to 27 employees. Considering responder amount less than 100 people to reply the questionnaires which writer propagate and availibility of writer time and also for the accuracy of result of research. Types of data used are qualitative and quantitative data. Technique of data collected by questionnaires, interview and documentation. The analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis and descriptive quantitative analysis. The result of analysis from linear regression modestly that is Ŷ= 6,518 + 0,827X1 + 0,314X2, it means there is a positive influence between motivation and work ethic to employee performance at Badan Narkotika Nasional Kota Pematangsiantar. The strength of relationship between the is high correlation, that is r = 0,791. From coefficient determination can be explained that the level of employee performance can be explained by motivation and work ethic as big as 62,5%, and the rest 37,5% can be explained by the other factor that was not discussed in this research. From result of processing and calculation questionnaires, writer get the conclusion that motivation and work ethic applied by Badan Narkotika Nasional Kota Pematangsiantar have an effect to employee performance. This matter is proved by hypothesis test either simultaneously where the result test fhitung (20,020) > ttabel (3,40) and which significant 0,000 < alpha 0,05. Abstract

The purpose of this study are: 1. To determine the image of brand image, consumer perception, and purchasing decisions in Indomaret. 2. To determine the influence of brand image and consumer perception of purchasing decision in PT Indomarco Prismatama (Indomaret) either simultaneously or partially. This research was done by using design of literature and field research. The type of data used in this research is qualitative and quantitative data. Sources of data are primary and secondary data. The population used in this reseaarch were students of STIE Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar Semester VIII T.A. 2016/2017 and the sample used of 89 respondents. Data was collected by questionary, interview and documentation. The technique of analyzing is multiple linear regression, coefficient correlation, coefficient determination and hypothesis testing by F test and t test. The result of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. Indomaret brand image is good, Indomaret consumer perceptions have been good and consumers have agreed with the purchase decisoin made. 2. The results of regression analysis is Ý = 9,952 + 0,558X1 + 0,280X2, its means that brand image and consumer perceptions had a positive effect on purchasing decisions. 3. The results of the analysis correlations get value r = 0,855, it means that there is high and positive relationship between brand image, consumer perceptions to the purchasing decisions. And the cefficient of determination obtained value R Square = 0,730, it means that consumer purchasing decisions can be explained by the brand image and consumer perceptions of 73%. 4. The results of testing the hypothesis H0 is rejected, its means that brand image and consumer perceptions had a positive and significant effect to the purchasing decisions in PT Indomarco Prismatama (Indomaret) either simultaneously or partially. The suggestion of this research is to improve the brand image, to improve the brand image new innovations that make consumers comfortable shopping. To improve consumer perceptions should Indomaret pay attention to ceptetitors and always check the stock of goods inthe warehouse. While for purchasing decisions, need to improve new things like providing free wifi, ready-brewed coffee, and comfortable seating so that consumers feel comfortable shopping in PT Indomarco Prismatama (Indomaret).
