Abstract

Abstrak: Tokoh Helen Keller dalam naskah karya William Gibson (1950) merupakan naskah pilihan aktor untuk pementasannya. Naskah tersebut menceritakan tentang seorang anak perempuan bernama Helen Keller berusia 7 tahun yang menderita disabilitas buta, tuli dan bisu. Karya pemeranan tokoh ini menggunakan teori pemeranan dan metode pelatihan pemeranan oleh Stanislavsky. Setelah melewati proses penciptaan karya pemeranan ini, aktor mendapatkan capaian tersendiri dalam proses keaktoran. Aktor mampu mengimbangi lawan main dengan permainan bahasa tubuhnya walau tidak memiliki dialog, aktor dapat belajar menakar dirinya untuk masuk ke dalam tokoh. Aktor dapat berperan baik dan wajar sesuai kebutuhan penokohan. Kata kunci: aktor, pemeranan, karakter, naskah, Hellen Keller, sistem Stanislavski  Abstract: Helen Keller character in William Gibson’s (1950) playscript is the actor's choice for her performance. The playscript tells about a 7-year-old girl named Helen Keller who suffers from blind, deaf and mute disabilities. This acting work uses the theory and the characterization training method by Stanislavsky. After going through this character role creation process, the actor gets its own achievements in the acting process. The actor can use her body language well, even though she did not have dialog scripts. The actor can feel and measure himself to enter into the character role. Abstract

Abstrak: Lakon ini berbicara tentang dampak modernisasi sebuah masyarakat yang membuat orang-orang menderita keterasingan pada kehidupan yang mereka miliki. Tujuan penciptaan tokoh atau karya pemeranan naskah The Zoo Story karya Edward Albee utamanya adalah sebagai media eksplorasi aplikasikan metode pelatihan Stanislavsky dalam tokoh Jerry dalam naskah. Naskah dan karakter tokoh dibahas menggunakan psikoanalisis Freud dan teori struktur dan tekstur. Proses penciptaan tokoh atau pemeranan ini telah terlaksana dengan baik meski terdapat sedikit kendala. Kata kunci : Modernisasi, Optimisme Amerika, Stanislavsky  Abstract: This playscript talks about the impact of the modernization of a society that makes people suffer from alienation to their lives. The purpose of character creation on this "The Zoo" playscript by Edward Albee is primarily as an exploration medium to apply Stanislavsky's training methods in Jerry's character. The playscript and characters are discussed using Freud's psychoanalysis and theories of structure and texture. The character creation process has been carried out well despite a few obstacles. Key words: modernization, American Optimism, Stanislavsky

Abstract

Abstrak: Pemeranan tokoh Scapin dalam naskah Akal Bulus Scapin merupakan perancangan akting komedi. Bentuk akting komedi ini memfokuskan pencarian bentuk-bentuk ekspresi yang karikatural. Tujuan dari pemeranan tokoh Scapin ini adalah agar pembaca khususnya pelaku seni peran agar dapat menemukan dan mengetahui cara bermain akting komedi tokoh Scapin dalam naskah Akal Bulus Scapin dengan  permainan gaya akting komedi. Komedi farce digunakan sebagai metode dalam proses pemeranan tokoh dalam naskah ini. Proses penciptaan permainan akting komedi ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa seorang aktor terlebih dahulu harus paham tentang tiga dimensi tokoh yang akan dimainkannya: fisiologi, sosiologi, dan psikologi. Selain itu penting untuk mengeksplorasi gestur komikal, intensitas dan suara aktor, kecepatan (spontanitas) penampilan dan suara, pola-pola keganjilan (ketaklaziman), dan surprise (kejutan). Kata kunci: aktor, komedi, farce, Molière  Abstract: Scapin character acting in the script of the Akal Bulus Scapin is a comedy acting design. This form of comedy focused on the search for comical expression acting. The purpose of the Scapin character acting is especially for the actors, so be able to find and know how to play comedy acting on the Scapin characters in the Akal Bulus Scapin scripts with a comedy style. Farce comedy is used as a method in the characterization process in this playscript. The creation process of the comedy resulting in the conclusion that an actor must first understand the three dimensions of the character he will play: physiology, sociology, and psychology. Also, it is important to explore comical gestures, the actor's voice, the spontaneity of appearance, sound, peculiarity, and surprises. Key word: actor, comedy, farce, Molière

Abstract

Abstrak: Naskah drama Secangkir Teh merupakan kisah dari seorang anak yang mempunyai impian menjadi Cinderella. Naskah drama Secangkir Teh dipilih karena belum pernah dipentaskan. Alasan pemilihan bentuk pertunjukan drama musikal dikarenakan memiliki unsur yang kompleks sebagai sebuah pertunjukan. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori penyutradaraan dari Gordon Craig. Penyutradaraan drama musikal Secangkir Teh ini menggunakan tiga metode yang meliputi bedah naskah, latihan dasar-dasar teater, dan latihan bernyanyi. Naskah Secangkir Teh karya Romualdo Situmorang kemudian telah dipentaskan  pada tanggal 05 Juni 2018 di Gedung Societed Militair Taman Budaya Yogyakarta pukul 20.00 WIB dengan baik dan lancar. Kata kunci: naskah Secangkir Teh, Impian, penyutradaraan, drama musikal.  Abstract: Secangkir Teh play script is a story of a child who has a dream of being Cinderella. Secangkir Teh play script was chosen because it had never been performed. The reason for choosing this play as a musical is because it has a complex element as a performance. The theory used is directing theory from Gordon Craig. The directing of Secangkir Teh play script uses three methods which includes play script breakdown, theater basics exercises, and singing practices. Secangkir Teh play script by Romualdo Situmorang has finally been smoothly performed on June 5, 2018 at the Societet Militair Building in Taman Budaya Yogyakarta at 20.00 WIB. Keywords: Secangkir Teh,  play script, Dream, directing, musical drama.

Abstract

Abstrak: Naskah Perangkap karya Eugene O’Neill (terjemahan Faried W. Abe) bercerita tentang kondisi ketidakadilan yang dialami oleh perempuan. Tokoh Rose Thomas dalam naskah tersebut merupakan seorang pelacur muda berusia 22 tahun, memiliki bayi, dan mengidap TBC. Karya pemeranan ini menggunakan teori akting realis Stanislavski untuk menghadirkan tingkah laku manusia secara wajar diatas panggung. Proses penciptakan karakter tokoh dilalui dengan langkah: membedah naskah; membuat biografi tokoh berdasarkan data dalam naskah; dan kemudian latihan pemeranan realis dengan pemeran tokoh pelangkap lain.  Kata kunci: Rose, Eugene O’Neill, Pelacur, TBC, Kekerasan, Perangkap,  Realis, Stanislavski  Abstract: Perangkap, a playscript by Eugene O'Neill (translation of Faried W. Abe) tells the story of the conditions of injustice experienced by women. Rose Thomas in the script is a young prostitute aged 22 years, had a baby and has tuberculosis. This role play uses Stanislavski's realist acting theory to present human behavior naturally on stage. Abstract

Abstrak: Naskah yang akan digunakan dalam studi pemeranan ini adalah Pintu Tertutup karya Jean Paul Sartre yang diterjemahkan Asrul Sani dari judul asli Huis Clos (1945). Studi pemeranan ini akan menggunakan pendekatan presentasi (realis) sebagai metode analisis naskah, mengolah dialog dan transformasi aktor. Analisis karakter yang digunakan sebagai basis eksplorasi peran adalah menggunakan teori psikoanalisis Freud. Hasil dari studi karakter dan naskah memungkinkan pemeran dalam memerankan tokoh secara penuh perasaan, kuat dan ekspresif. Kata kunci: presentation, realis, transformasi, psikoanalisis  Abstract: The playscript used in this characterization study is the Pintu Tertutup, the work of Jean-Paul Sartre, translated by Asrul Sani from the original title Huis Clos (1945). This study used the presentation (realist) approach as a method of character creation, dialogue and transforming actors. Character analysis used as the basis for role exploration using Freud's psychoanalytic theory. The results of character and playscript analysis enable the actor to impersonate the character in a full, strong and expressive feeling. Key words: presentation, realist, transformation, psychoanalysis
