Abstract

Almost every building area at the University of Papua has been facilitated with a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). Each user has one account to use the facility. But as more users access the network simultaneously allowing the occurrence of a slowed network connection and become less stable. Network monitoring and analysis is carried out to determine the quality of the network in each area of the building.  Axence NetTools 5 is one of the applications that easy-to-use monitoring carried out in 3 building areas, Unit Pelayanan Teknis Komputer (UPT-TIK), Rektorat dan Fakultas Sastra dan Budaya. To measure the Quality of Service (QoS) of the network with parameters bandwidth, throughput, delay, jitter, and packet loss using TIPHON standardization. The results from the three access points areas belong to the category of “Satisfactory”. For all the quality of the WLAN internet network at the University of Papua in the three building areas is "Good".

Abstract

The Biak Language Dictionary application is made using designs and blocks through open source IDE tools, namely kodular and uses the Phpmyadmin MySQL Database as a dictionary database storage area. This Biak Language Dictionary application is designed with a dictionary working system in general, namely an application that contains a list of vocabulary of a language that is arranged alphabetically in this case the Biak language, has an Input function and an Output function. This dictionary application can be helpful and useful for the local Biak community or other general public in communicating using the Biak language, as well as helping to preserve regional culture through regional languages, especially the Biak language, which until now still lacks knowledge about the Biak language.

Abstract

The education house service (LPMP) west Papua Manpkwari (LPMP) manokwari is essentially a manual, such as the filling in of guest for housing registration in the LPMP manokwari dorm room. So it took a long time to do the process of checking out the empty rooms if any guests were to stay in the dorms. Thus the auther created an application for west Papua dorm room service using fremwork cedeigniter 3.0. From testing of the application using the black box method, it suggests that it is helpful to LPMP manokwari papua barat,especially the registration departemen in providing services to guests who have come to perform room registrasion.

Abstract

Usia dini merupakan masa keemasan dalam perkembangan otak anak, dimana pada usia ini anak-anak senang bermain dan menjelajahi lingkungan sekitar. Terdapat tiga gaya belajar pada anak yaitu auditori, visual dan kinestetik. Hal inilah yang dapat dimanfaatkan dari penggunaan smartphone karena dapat menyediakan aplikasi-aplikasi yang dapat menerapkan gaya belajar yang telah disebutkan. Dengan Tujuan untuk menciptakan media belajar dan bermain yang menarik untuk anak usia dini, dan juga sebagai suatu upaya untuk meningkatkan minat belajar anak sejak dini. Penulis melakukan penelitian dengan metode waterfall dalam pengembangan aplikasi belajar dan bermain dengan kodular. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk belajar mengenal huruf, mengenal angka, menggambar, bermain tangkap buah, dan tebak gambar. Hasil pengujian aplikasi dengan metode kuesioner yang terdiri dari 8 pernyataan dan 20 responden yang menjawab sangat setuju 37.5%, setuju 60%, dan kurang setuju 2.5%.

Abstract

The data management system in the Manokwari Coffee Community which is still manually becomes a reference for the creation of a title that can be submitted to lecturers. Data management is done by recording data from participants who want to take coffee classes from various places in Manokwari, as well as storing participant data in a book or paper and transferring it to Microsoft Word which still looks messy. In addition, data that is recorded and stored in books or paper is prone to being scattered or lost. As a consequence, members of the community find it difficult to find scattered or lost participant data. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to design a web -based online coffee class registration application to assist members of this community in managing participant data, the registration process, providing information about the classes held, and confirming registered participants. The author analyzes and designs applications that will be built using the Waterfall method. Furthermore, the application is built using the PHP programming language and Mysql Database Management System. With this application, the process of managing and storing data from participants who want to register for coffee classes at the Manokwari Coffee.

Abstract

The fire rate in Indonesia is very high, the risk and impact of fire disasters is very high, from the fire department data alone, fire disasters are the most frequent disasters and are in second place after floods. the fire has been at the level of a large fire and usually after 1 or 2 houses have burned, thus making the impact of fires in residential areas even greater in terms of material and economic damage. Seeing these conditions, the author designed an IoT-based fire alarm, which is an IoT-based alarm or notification system that can notify if a fire sensor is detected by fire via the internet and by using a supporting application, namely BLYNK on a smartphone. directly the home owner and the fire department will immediately know, so that larger fires can be avoided to minimize losses. In this thesis, the researcher will explain from the initial stage to the design to the stage of testing alarm alarms based on the internet of things.
