Abstract

Language is a communication tool that is a symbolic system of sound produced by a human speech tool. Language as a means of communication can not only talk, but can be manifested by hand signals or other bodies that have their own rules. Language has a central role in the intellectual, social, and emotional development of students. This means every human being is subject to limitations in the language. The development of children's speaking skills in elementary schools will become the language for their effective and efficient communication. Learning to read in primary school is very important. This is caused by learning that can not only be utilized in improving the language skills of children, more than that, that is to improve students' ability in learning other subjects. The essence of writing skills is to increase the vocabulary insight for students, so that students are encouraged to think dynamic, critical, rational and able to live up to the conditions and goals of good and true teaching. However, on various matters relating to the process of reading and writing beginning in elementary school. This should not be allowed to happen continuously will cause an imbalance in the development of students' thinking ability. In addition to teachers, parents also play an important role in helping to solve problems by learning to read and write the beginning. Here the authors formulate some efforts to overcome this, namely: choosing reading materials, making the media as a song, choose innovative learning media, and motivate students by providing feedback.

Abstract

Wayang Kulit is one of the world's masterpieces because it contains a variety of values, ranging from life philosophy, ethics (moral), spirituality, music (gamelan, gending), to the aesthetics of very complex art forms. This has led to the staging of Balinese shadow puppets not only as a spectacle but also as a guide for the community. Wayang offers a very interesting educational method, because it teaches the values of religious and ethical teachings, as well as the values of life that should be captured by the audience through the play as well as the characters as role models. Like the play Dewa Ruci in the shadow puppet show. This play illustrates the spiritual journey of the Bima character who attains the level of inner and outer chastity. Bima's figure gives anualization of moral teachings between others: Guru Susrusa, Satya, Tri Kaya Parisudha, Wiweka and Tapa, this moral teaching is the provision to improve the quality of education in the 21st century.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine aspects of applied learning approach based on science process skills as a way to transfer material science for students in elementary school. The method used is the method of library research. The collection and review of reference indicators for science process skills is then connected to the science material in the student book V theme 6. Researchers analyzed the data associated with using inductive and deductive. The conclusion that: 1) In each sub-theme has been referring to the learning approach science process skills, 2) Each sub-themes are science process skills are fundamental, namely observation and communication, 3) No founding the activities to formulate hypotheses.

Abstract

Guna mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan nasional guru memegang peran dan  tanggungjawab yang sangat penting  sebagai pelaksana sistem pendidikan, untuk mengemban tanggung jawab tersebut, guru harus memiliki kinerja yang tinggi. Tinggi rendahnya kinerja guru dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan Supervisi Pengajaran dengan Kinerja Guru Agama Hindu yang bersertifikat Pendidik di Sekolah Dasar Se- Kecamatan Penebel. Populasi penelitian  adalah 46 orang  Guru Agama Hindu yang bersertifikat Pendidik di Sekolah Dasar Se- Kecamatan Penebel dan masih aktif bertugas. Pengumpulan data digunakan kuesioner model skala Likert lima pilihan. Untuk menganalisis data digunakan analisis jalur (Path analisis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Ada hubungan yang signifikan secara langsung antara supervisi pengajaran guru dengan kinerja guru Agama Hindu yang bersertifikat Pendidik di Sekolah Dasar se-Kecamatan Penebel, diperoleh koefisien beta sebesar 0,135 dan  probabilitasnya 0,000 < 00,5.

Abstract

The main problems encountered in education, especially in primary schools is the low interest in reading and the number of deviant behavior as a manifestation of bad character of students. In some of the results of research on reading interests, Indonesia ranks below countries in the world. Also, the problem of moral degradation, many behaviors such as violence, theft, rape and others that reflect not maximal character education among children and adolescents. To that end, efforts should be made pengintesifan increased interest in reading and character education. Satua Bali is an interesting read so as to stimulate students' interest in reading and ultimately foster a culture of literacy. Satua also contains a lot of character values so it is suitable to be reading by elementary school students.

Abstract

Dalam menjalani kehidupan, manusia tidak terlepas dengan belajar dan pembelajaran. Tanpa belajar dan pembelajaran, manusia tidak akan bisa menjalankan kehidupan sebagaimana mestinya, karna dalam menjalani kehidupan diperlukan ilmu dan pengetahuan yang mendukung dalam menuju kesuksesan. Oleh sebab itu, dalam mencapai kesuksesan tersebut manusia haruslah berpendidikan. Pada hakikatnya tujuan dari pendidikan nasional adalah memberikan keteladanan pada peserta didik. Keteladanan pada peserta didik diberikan selama proses pembelajaran. Namun, dalam kenyataannya keteladanan dalam proses pembelajaran belum berlangsung secara optimal. Hal ini dikarnakan masih banyaknya peserta didik menyontek ketika proses evaluasi tiba. Kebiasaan menyontek dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya persiapan peserta didik, tegang ketika melaksanakan ujian, banyaknya waktu luang dalam mengerjakan ujian, serta system pendidikan di Indonesia yang lebih mementingkan kuantitas dibanding kualitas. Sehingga, membuat peserta didik merasa tertekan. Namun, rasa tertekan tersebut tidak membuat peserta didik menjadi gigih dalam menguasai pembelajaran. Melainkan, membuat peserta didik merasa khawatir dan melakukan berbagai cara untuk mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal. Hal ini menyebabkan guru melakukan suatu inovasi dalam proses evaluasi, yaitu dengan pemberian suasana baru berupa penggunaan multimedia evaluasi plickers. Pemberian suasana baru dapat memberikan kesan fresh kepada peserta didik, sehingga rasa khawatir dan tertekan peserta didik dapat diminimalisir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran penggunaan multimedia evaluasi plickers dalam mengurangi budaya menyontek di sekolah dasar. Dengan demikian, motode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu, metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu, multimedia evaluasi plickers dapat mengurangi budaya menyontek.In life, humans are inseparable from learning and learning. Without learning and learning, humans will not be able to live life as they should, because in life they need knowledge and knowledge that support in leading to success. Therefore, in achieving this success humans must be morally educated. In essence the goal of national education is to provide an example to students. Exemplary students are given during the learning process. However, in reality, the example in the learning process is not yet optimal. This is because there are still many students cheating when the evaluation process arrives. The practice of cheating is motivated by the lack of student preparation, tense when conducting exams, the amount of free time in taking exams, and the education system in Indonesia which is more concerned with quantity than quality. Thus, making students feel depressed. However, the pressure does not make students become persistent in mastering learning. But rather, make students feel worried and do various ways to get maximum results. This causes the teacher to make an innovation in the evaluation process, namely by providing a new atmosphere in the form of using multimedia evaluation plickers. Giving a new atmosphere can give a fresh impression to students, so that students can feel less worried and pressured. This study aims to determine how the role of the use of multimedia evaluation of plickers in reducing cheating culture in elementary schools. Thus, the research method used is descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study namely, multimedia evaluation of plickers can reduce cheating culture.
