Abstract

This research focuses on examining how the economy in Indonesia is affected by the increasing fuel prices, with a particular emphasis on the impact on the lower and middle-income populations. The announcement made by President Jokowi and his ministers about the fuel price hikes has spurred public reactions on social media platforms. The rise in fuel costs has a notable impact on people's livelihoods, especially concerning the surge in prices of essential goods. Sentiment analysis measures public opinion about the increase in fuel prices. The data taken from social media needs to be more balanced. The data is labeled with two identifications, “negative”, “positive” and “neutral”. The method used in sentiment analysis is the random forest method. This research contributes to determining the number of trees used in the model formation with public opinion data. The F1-score measurement result on the model is achieved at a value of 60%.

Abstract

Malaria disease occurs because the plasmodium parasite infects human red blood cells spread by female Anopheles mosquitoes and then causes health problems such as blood deficiency and even death. The gold standard of malaria diagnosis is to use laboratory microscopy examination of the patient's red blood cell samples to distinguish between microscope images of parasitic and non-parasitic red blood cells. However, diagnosing malaria through microscope observation is time-consuming, subjective, and tiring for health workers. So, a malaria classification system was designed using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method to distinguish parasitic and non-parasitic red blood cell images. The CNN model is trained using training data and also tested using test data. Then, the CNN training model is embedded on a Raspberry Pi equipped with a Graphical User Interface to facilitate observer interaction through the LCD screen on this digital and portable microscope. The CNN classification rate achieved an accuracy value of 97.88% using the database image and 98.76% using the digital microscope acquisition image. The CNN classification system of malaria parasites designed on a Raspberry Pi-based digital and portable microscope is expected to improve the diagnosis of malaria and reduce the infection rate of malaria patients, especially in various remote areas in Indonesia.

Abstract

To ensure the operational security of these systems and to give higher quality electricity to all users, it is important to assess the transient behavior of electric power transmission and distribution systems when they are challenged to varied forms like lightning discharges, which in this research is focused to determine the effect by utilizing the mixed line configuration on the impulse voltage of lightning strike on the 20 kV distribution line. This experiment was carried out using sources of data through channel documentation on Makassar City Polda Feeders with an airway length (SUTM) of 7.8 km and a cable channel length (SKTM) of 2 km obtained from PT. PLN (Persero) Makassar Branch and then input into the ATP-EMTP simulation process with either a simulation of 20 and 50 kA strikes at distances of 2.5, 4.5 and 6.5 km with lightning impulses of 1.2/50 and 8/20 µs. configuration of lines at the transition point and also the end of the cable channel depending on the magnitude of the lightning current, the location of the strike, and the lightning impulse. Lightning peak current is proportional to the voltage response at the transition point and the end of the cable, and the effect on lightning impulse peak voltage is generated at the transition point and the end of the cable. According to research results of initial research, the use of mixed channel lines can decrease the impulse voltage is 20 kV distribution lines.

Abstract

An important factor in maintaining fish in an aquarium is the timeliness of feeding fish. Most fish keepers are worried about the aquarium's feeding and water conditions, which must be done every day. Therefore, an automatic fish feeding tool and telegram-based monitoring of aquarium water levels were made to make it easier for fish keepers and aquarium owners to provide and monitor fish feed automatically according to a predetermined schedule. Monitoring the remaining feed and water level in the aquarium is done via Telegram. The components used in this tool are Esp 8266 as a microcontroller, RTC as a timer for scheduling fish feed, Ultrasonic as a detector for remaining fish feed, JSN-SR04T as a water level detector, LCD to display time and date as well as notifications and a servo motor functions to open and close the fish feed. The conclusion from the results obtained from this device is that the device works well and helps the aquarium owner to monitor and feed efficiently, despite some challenges such as delay due to poor internet connection.

Abstract

Water plays a very important role for living things including fish, with good water fish can grow optimally and healthily. The acidic and alkaline content of water and also oxygen greatly affects its growth. Currently, the majority of fish farmers monitor the pH and oxidation process of the pond manually. Therefore, in an aquaculture business, water quality must be monitored by fish farmers. In this research, an internet of things (IoT) based tool will be made that will produce oxygen in the water in tilapia ponds and is equipped with a pH sensor that will read how much pH value is contained in it, then the data can be viewed remotely via a cellphone connected to the internet. The telemetry system of this aerator research uses the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller then the pH sensor reading data can be seen through the cellphone with the Blynk application as well as the aerator control can be easily done from the application. fish farmers can easily monitor the quality of water pH in real-time as well as control the aerator. The results achieved by the aerator can cause the oxidation process (dissolved oxygen) in water from the rotation of the impeller. Testing was carried out on a tilapia pond with a pond diameter of 15m2. The methodology used is quantitative with the results obtained from 10x experiments and comparison of the pH sensor and also the pH meter shows 96% accuracy of the pH sensor 4502C while 4% for the error value. the pH value before the aerator is active is 6 which means acidic. After the aerator is active and the dissolved oxygen process runs the pH value of the water becomes 7-7.5 which means neutral, this value is good for freshwater fish to breed well. from the help of this tool, fish farming farmers can more efficiently monitor water pH and aerator control.

Abstract

Tropical climate conditions with two seasons, namely rainy and hot in Indonesia and coupled with relatively diverse surface and rock topography conditions, have the potential for natural disasters, one of which is erosion in watersheds. Making the system using the Arduino Uno microcontroller, SIM-800L V2 Module, Piezoelectric Sensor, Soil Moisture Sensor, Buzzer and LCD. The designed system will be able to display information on the spot, and can send via SMS. In pre-erosion conditions, there are two variables used, namely soil moisture and soil vibration. As for post-erosion, it only takes the soil vibration variable. The limit value of vibration in pre-erosion conditions is 31%. Pre-erosion data is divided into 3 statuses, namely BEWARE at humidity values of 31-70% and vibration values of 5-15%, DANGER status with humidity values of 71-100% or vibration values of 16-30%, and other than that they are included in the SAFE category. Whereas in post-erosion 3 categories are LIGHT EROSION at vibration values of 31-50%, MODERATE EROSION 51-70% and SEVERE EROSION 71-100%.
