Abstract

The Oil palm fiber ash has a silica content of 59.1% which make it possible as a partial replacement for cement. This research was aimed to determine the effect of oil palm fiber ash as a partial replacement of cement to compressive strength of paving block. The specimens was made with a size of 20 cm x 10 cm x 6 cm and used a ratio of 1 cement: 3 sand with the variations of the substitution of 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, 12.5% and 15% of the volume cement. The water requirement used the initial flow test according to SNI 03-6882-2002 with each variation had the same amount of water. Specimens printed were soaked in a soaking tub at the age of 1 day for 12 days, then cut into cubes of 5 cm all side using a grinder. The testing of the compressive strength was done at the age of 14 days. Results of the average compressive strength in variations of 0%, 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, 12.5%, 15% were respectively 15,13 MPa, 15,36 MPa, 16,02 MPa, 12,97 MPa, 12,16 MPa, 10.00 MPa and 8.01 MPa. The test results showed that the highest increase occurred on the replacement variation of 5% (5.85% from normal paving block) and the maximum decrease occurred on the replacement variation of 15% which was equal to - 47.09% from the normal paving block. The results of the research indicate that the partial replacement of cement with oil palm fiber ash above 5% of the cement volume decreased the compressive strength of paving block. Keywords : oil palm fiber ash, compressive strength, paving block.

Abstract

      Quest Hotel yang terletak di Yogyakarta merupakan bangunan tempat tinggal yang di peruntukan untuk para pengunjung wisata maupun orang-orang yang punya kepentingan lain yang datang di Yogyakarta, bangunan ini merupakan bangunan bertingkat 10 lantai serta memiliki ketinggian 33,45 m. Sebuah struktur bangunan harus direncanakan sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah perencanaan yang berlaku, sehingga dampak yang disebabkan oleh gempa dapat menahan guncangan yang telah direncanakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui nilai gaya lateral maksimal serta displacement yang terjadi pada gedung dan bagaimana level kinerja berdasarkan metode FEMA 356. Besarnya  gaya lateral maksimum pada arah x = 8034,753 kN pada step 9 dengan displacement sebesar -0,042530 m dan pada arah y gaya lateral maksimum = 7055,847 kN pada step 7 dengan displacement sebesar -0,066046 m. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa struktur gedung lebih kuat menahan gaya lateral dari arah-x dibandingkan dari arah-y. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis static non-linier, dari nilai target perpindahan maka diperoleh nilai drift aktual arah-x = 0,00484 (0,484%) dan nilai drift actual arah-y = 0,00773 (0,73%). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa bangunan tidak mengalami kerusakan komponen struktur. Kekuatan dan kekakuan gedung masih hampir sama dengan kondisi sebelum struktur dilanda gempa,  pada keadaan ini gedung yang ditinjau adalah termasuk  pada level kinerja Immediate Occupancy (IO). Kata Kunci: Displacement, FEMA 356, Pushover, Quest Hotel.

Abstract

Abstract The increase of population caused the needed of home provider service. Mostly the housing already has it’s own type of house. As time goes by home developing happened in order to fullfill people needs. This study aimed to examine the factors that effect home development and find out the dominant factor for T36 h0use. The study uses descriptive survey methods and use multiple linear regression analysis to analyzed. Questionnaire were distributes to 41 respondents who lived in Surabaya Permai 4 Housing with 90% trust level. Processing questionnaire data using SPSS 25 with test requirements analysis, namely the validity and reliability test. The results of this research indicate that money, structural security, safety and comfort, social and culture, resident conditions, building condition effect 90.4% for home development. The most dominant factor affecting home development  is the money factor with a percentage of 27.3%. The other factors are structural security 17.7%, safety and comfort 14.1%, social and culture 12.6%, resident condition 12.2% and building condition 6.5%. Keywords: house, home development, dominant factor

DAS Sungai Lubuk banyau mengalir dari daerah hulu yang terletak diwilayah Kabupaten Bengkulu utara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa debit puncak rencana akibat intensitas curah hujan pada DAS Lubuk Banyau dalam menganalisis hidrologi dengan menggunakan metode Hidograf Satuan Sintetik (HSS) Gama I, HSS Nakayasu dan HSS Snyder. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dari penelitian ini distribusi frekuensi terhadap tiga metode curah hujan, yaitu metode ditribusi Gumbel Tipe I, Log Pearson Tipe III dan Log Normal maka metode yang digunakan untuk perhitungan curah hujan rencana pada penelitian ini adalah Metode Gumbel Tipe I dengan periode ulang 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 dan 100 tahun, yaitu 181,164 mm, 275,356 mm, 337,709 mm, 416,518 mm, 474,974 mm dan 532,998 mm. Dari hasil analisis hidrologi pada penelitian diperoleh debit puncak pada DAS Lubuk Banyau untuk periode ulang 100 tahun dengan metode HSS Snyder adalah 1531,111 m3/detik dengan waktu puncak sebesar 5 jam merupakan debit puncak yang paling besar diantara HSS Gama I dan Nakayasu. untuk hasil debit puncak dengan metode HSS Gama I adalah 776,91m3/detik dengan waktu puncak sebesar 4 jam dan HSS Nakayasu 1023,87 dengan waktu puncak 2,46 jam. Maka didapatkan tinggi permukaan air pada DAS Lubuk Banyau yaitu 1,134 m.Kata kunci: hidrograf satuan sintetik, debit puncak, gama I, nakayasu, dan snyderAbstractWatershed Lubuk Banyau is one of the watersheds in North Bengkulu. The Lubuk River watershed flows from the upstream area located in the northern Bengkulu regency. The purpose of this study is to analyze the planned peak discharge due to rainfall intensity in the Lubuk Banyau watershed in analyzing hydrology using the Synthetic Unit Hydrograph (HSS) method of Gama I, HSS Nakayasu and HSS Snyder. Based on the results of calculations from this study the frequency distribution of three rainfall methods, namely the Gumbel Type I distribution method, Pearson Type III Log and Normal Log, the method used for calculating the planned rainfall in this study is the Gumbel Type I method with a return period of 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 years, namely 181,164 mm, 275,356 mm, 337,709 mm, 416,518 mm, 474,974 mm and 532,998 mm. From the results of the hydrological analysis in the study, the peak discharge in the Lubuk Banyau watershed for a 100-year return period with the Snyder HSS method was 1531,111 m3 / second with a peak time of 5 hours being the largest peak discharge between Gama I and Nakayasu HSS. for the peak discharge using the HSS Gama I method is 776.91m3 / sec with a peak time of 4 hours and Nakayasu HSS of 1023.87 with a peak time of 2.46 hours. Then the water level obtained at the Lubuk Banyau watershed is 1,134 m.Keywords: synthetic unit hydrograph, peak discharge gama I, nakayasu, and snyder.

Abstract

This District Hospital of Wates was developed and constructed to meet medical need for local people of Kulon Progo District and this hospital was expected to have impact on the public economy wheel improvement. This hospital has a reinforced concrete structure to support the standing torque with five floors in 4.5-m height of each floor and has 20.5-m height. The building structure must be able to support earthquake force at specific level without significant damage of structure or, if the building must fail. The objective of this study was to find performance point value of the building, ratio drift value based on ATC-40 and performance level. This study evaluated the building performance of the hospital based on spectrum response and national standard of Indonesia. The results of study indicate that Performance Point value with X-direction slide force was 3188.541 kN and Y-direction was 1058.513. On the other hand, ratio drift value, based on ATC-40, had maximum in-elastic drift of X-direction = 0.000000249 and maximum In-elastic drift of Y-direction = 0.000000405, it means that the reviewed building was included in level of Immediate Occupancy (IO) so that the building of hospital, when earthquake faced it, did not experience structural and non-structural damage; therefore, this building remained safe. Keywords : Pushover, Perfomance Point , Ratio Drift, ATC-40

Abstract

Flat slab is reinforced concrete plate construction without beam. Without using beam, the obtainable profit is to minimize concrete volume, height/floor, and structural load. Other profits are simpler and economic reinforcement, scaffolding, and formwork. In this study, structural redesign of RSGM UGM Prof. Soedomo Yogyakarta building was made by using flat slab method. The objective of this study was to find structural dimension of floor and roof plates as well as reinforcement of the RSGM UGM Prof. Soedomo Building using structural system of flat slab, dimension of structural column and drop panel as well as reinforcement of the RSGM UGM Prof. Soedomo Building using structural system of flat slab. This method was to redesign using flat slab method complying with the standard of SNI 2847-2013 and software ETABS 2017. The results of analysis and calculation of structural dimension using flat slab method showed floor plate thickness of 170 mm; roof plate thickness, 120 mm; drop panel thickness, 270 mm with drop panel width of 2000 mm in direction x and 1500 mm in direction y, as well as use of column dimension of 500 mm x 500 mm. The analysis using software ETABS 2016 showed building structure in period (T) of 1.07 seconds.Keywords: RSGM UGM Prof. Soedomo Building, Drop Panel, Flat slab.
