Abstract

The purpose of this survey is to examine the effect of satisfaction and trust to commitment and their impact to loyalty. The population includes everyone who travelling to Bandung from Jakarta by toll road suttle service Cipaganti and Xrans. There were 300 respondents purposively selected. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modelling produce the following results : 1) satisfaction influences commitment, 2) Trust influences commitment, 3) commitment influences loyalty, 4) Satisfaction influences loyalty, 5) Trust influences loyalty. Key Words- Trust, satisfaction, commitment, loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the effects of the use of capital (derived from debt and own capital) is used by companies of the rate of return on equity. Is the policy for the withdrawal of debt has just run in the sense of providing a beneficial effect for the owners of the company. Hypothesis os : if the level of rate of return of the acquired company is greater than the amount the interest rate, then the withdrawal will have a positive debt to rate of return on equity. Analysis is done using quantitative analysis for the purpose of comparingthe theory that become the guidelines applied by the company’s application and the rentability analysis and quantitative analysis tools with ration analysis. Profit margin, operating Turnover assets, rate of return and rate of return on equity. From the results of research conducted was even its own capital rentability of the company acquired during the year under study shows a growing trend (5.35%, 6.78%, 11.68%, 8.66%) but the actual level of rtaae of return of own capital it can be achieved even greater (ie could reach 7.01%, 9.78%, 12.43%, 11.44%) if only the company during the year no interest loan.  Key Words- Debt, equity, rate of return.

Abstract

Discount promotion in the retail industry has great charm to consumers. We can find this program in every single modern retail industry. In the past, big sale program or discount promotion could only be found find in midyear term or at the end of the year. Nowadays, the discount promotion is offered in each month. It’s a unique strategy for modern retail. Matahari dept. Store, as an example, has decided to use this strategy the results is the significant raise of their income. This offer is based on research about the habit of our Indonesian society in general. It’s called consumptive behavior. Although in basic theory it’s a well-known fact that becoming a consumptive person is not an option for in this society; in reality, the behavior saved a retail industry.Key Words- Economic Policy, Minimum Wage, Income.

Abstract

This research attempted to analyze the leverage between EVA, ROA, ROE, EPS with stock return of the 12 sample companies. The 12 sample companies are the companies that included in LQ-45 at the Indonesia Stock Exchange within period of 2005 to 2007. First, this research computes the score of EVA, ROA, ROE, EPS from each of the companies. To analyze the leverage using linear regression method with stock return as a dependent variable and EVA, ROA, ROE, EPS each as a independent variable. And then comparing the results from the linear regression which method has the greater number of R Square. Also using regression method with stock return as a dependent variable and EVA, ROA, ROE, EPS together as independent variable, then analyzing the results from the regression such as multi collinierity, autocorellation, heteroscedasticity, and normality.  Key Words: Economic Value Added (EVA), Return on Asset (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Earnings pro Share (EPS), LQ-45 Stock Index.

Abstract

The background of this research is the growth of Indonesian people’s interest to put their money for investment in mutual fund. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the performance of the mutual fund which revolves in Indonesia with the risk adjusted return performance method. The subject of this research is the equity mutual fund in Indonesia which have been distributed and being actively sold since 1 January 2007 until 31 December 2009. The object of this research is the return of each mutual fund. The result of this research is Panin Dana Maksima, Pratama Saham, Schroder Dana Prestasi Plus, and Si Dana Saham has the best performance according the risk adjusted return performance method.  Key Words- Sharpe ratio, Treynor ratio, and Jensen’s Alpha.

Abstract

The topic of this article is about buying decision. There are many issues that can be discussed in buying decision, such as stages of buying decision process, factors that inluence buying decision, and opinion leaders who persuade in making a buying decision. However, the article only focuses on the opinion leaders, especially in choosing a higher education. It explores the influencers of high school students in taking up a higher education as a place to study, both from quantitative and qualitative perspectives.  Key Words: Buying decision, opinion leader.
