Abstract

Marketing Chili pepper is unique marketing, where the price of chili is always fluctuating. In marketing, chili pepper involves marketing institutions that have a significant role in channeling chili pepper from producers to consumers. The purpose of this research is to know the channel, institution, a function of the marketing institution as well as the affection of the marketing Tataniaga of chili pepper in Kotawaringin Barat Regency. The study was conducted at Pangkalan Bun, from July - September 2019. The method of research used is a descriptive method to know the channel, and the function of the marketing institution, while to know the efficiency of chili pepper, the use of marketing margin analysis and farmer’s share. The result of this research is a channel of cayenne Pepper in Kotawaringin Barat district there are three levels of marketing channels, namely two-level channels, three-level channels, and four-level channels. The marketing institutions involved in cayenne pepper include collector merchants, wholesalers, and retailers. Abstract

Lettuce is a type of green leafy vegetable that has many benefits and a good source of vitamins. DFT hydroponics is plant cultivation without using soil. Cocopeat and hydroton are hydroponic growing media. This study aims to (i)determine the effect of various compositions of the DFT hydroponic growing media on growth and yield of lettuce (ii) obtaining the best composition of the DFT hydroponic planting media on growth and yield of lettuce. This study was conducted in Rica Village, Paringin District, Balangan Regency from February to April 2019. This study used a Randomized Design Group (RDG)single factor. The factors observed were the composition of the hydroponic planting media of the DFT system (m) by as much as 5 degrees of consisting of m1 = 100% cocopeat: 0% hydroton (100 g cocopeat: 0 g hydroton), m2 = 0% cocopeat: 100% hydroton (0 g cocopeat: 100 g hydroton) , m3 = 50% cocopeat: 50% hydroton (50 g cocopeat: 50 g hydroton), m4 = 75% cocopeat: 25% hydroton (75 g cocopeat: 25 g hydroton), m5 = 25% cocopeat: 75% hydroton (25 g cocopeat: 75 g hydroton). The results showed that the treatment of the composition of the hydroponic growing media had a very significant effect on plant height 14,21,28 and 35 HST, the effect was very significant on the number of leaves 7,21,28 and 35 HST, significantly affected the wet weight of the plant. The best treatment is obtained at m5 = 25% cocopeat: 75% hydroton (25 g cocopeat: 75 g hydroton).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (i) the effect of labor, land area, fertilizer and seeds simultaneously or partially on the production of lowland rice in Sebulu Ilir Village Sebulu District, (ii) the factors of production which had the most significant influence on paddy production and (iii) ) problems of rice farmers in Sebulu Ilir Village. The study was conducted in December 2018. Using a random sampling method with a sample of 32 lowland rice farmers. Multiple linear regression analysis and classical assumption tests are used to answer the research objectives. The results showed the factors of labor production, land area, and NPK fertilizer simultaneously (together) had a positive and significant effect on lowland rice. Partially or individually the factors of labor production and land area affect the production of lowland rice while the NPK fertilizer production factor does not affect the production of lowland rice. The most influential factor on lowland rice production is labor (X1) because it has a coefficient value of 0.699 with a calculated T value of 2.408 and a significance value of 0.023. The problems faced by rice farmers in Sebulu Ilir Village are irrigation which has not been well organized, lack of counseling, lack of government assistance, and land in other village areas.

Abstract

Alabio yam is one of the alternative food helpers during a famine when rice, sago, and others cannot be harvested, alabio yam can be a healthy food, but farmers do not cultivate alabio yams to the maximum because farmers do not do fertilization and less optimal soil cultivation to improve it there is a need for good fertilization and tillage. This research was conducted in the Banyu Tajun Hulu Village Sungai Pandan District Hulu Sungai Utara District with the title Use of kayambang bokashi on alabio yam cultivation with land management from February to August 2019. using a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 2 treatment factors, 1 kayambang bokashi and 2 land processing. The first factor is the dose of bokashi kayambang which consists of 5 levels, namely b1 = 5 tons. ha-1 equal with 0.5 kg. plot-1, b2 = 10 tons. ha-1 equal with 1 kg. Plot-1, b3 = 15 tons. ha-1 equal with 1.5 kg. plot-1, b4 = 20 tons. ha-1 is equal to 2 kg. Plot-1, b5 = 20 tons. ha-1 equal with 2.5 kg. plot-1. The second factor consists of 2 levels, namely, t1 = minimum land processing, t2 = maximum land processing. The results showed that the interaction between bokashi kayambang and land management only had a significant effect on the observation of 30 HST. The single factor of bokashi kayambang has a very significant effect on all observational variables. The single factor in land processing only had a significant effect on leaf observation at 20 HST.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the basis and non-basis, the contribution and growth of each agricultural subsector to the GRDP in Tabalong Regency from 2013 to 2017. The analytical method used is the Location Quotient analysis, contributions, and shift-share. The data used are Tabalong Regency GRDP data from 2013 to 2017 based on constant prices. The time of the study starts from June 2018 until August 2019. The results of the study based on the Location Quotient analysis show that the subsector that is the base subsector is the plantation subsector while the other subsectors such as food crops, horticulture, and fisheries are the non-basis subsector in Tabalong Regency. The results of the Contribution analysis show that of the five agricultural subsectors in Tabalong District, the highest contribution to the agricultural sector was the plantation subsector in the last five years by 47.87%. The results of the Shift Share analysis show the growth of each agricultural sub-sector in the economy of the Tabalong district is different as seen from the proportional growth of the food crops, livestock and fisheries sub-sectors experiencing rapid growth while the horticulture and plantation sub-sectors experienced slow growth. which is not competitive or less competitive with other regions in South Kalimantan Province. This study aims to determine the basis and non-basis, the contribution and growth of each agricultural subsector to the GRDP in Tabalong Regency from 2013 to 2017. Abstract

Shallot is an important commodity that becomes the basic food needs of the Indonesian people. Farmers generally use chemical or inorganic fertilizers in their cultivation activities. Inorganic fertilizers can accelerate the growing period because the nutrients can be absorbed directly by the soil. However, the continuous use of inorganic fertilizers can harm the soil and the environment, then to avoid this is to switch to using organic fertilizers. Manure is one of the organic fertilizers that can increase the availability of nutrients for plants. With the presence of intensive bacteria, it can accelerate the availability of nutrients. Bacteria whose role is to decompose organic matter are called PGPR. This study aims to (i) know the interactions (ii) know the single factor of cow manure (iii) know the single factor of bamboo root PGPR (iv) get the best interaction (v) get the best dose of cow manure (vi) get the best dose of bamboo root PGPR. This research was carried out in alluvial land in Tabalong District from March-June 2019. This study used a factorial randomized block design with the treatment is a dose of cow manure, namely: p1=10 t/ha, p2=20 t/ha, p3=30 t/ha, while the bamboo roots PGPR are: b1=20 ml, b2=25 ml, and b3=30 ml, so the combination is 9 treatments. The results showed that the observed variables were plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers, tuber diameter and tuber weight only affected plant height with a single factor treatment of cow manure and the best dose was 20 t/ha.Shallot is an important commodity that becomes the basic food needs of the Indonesian people.
