Abstract

The government has long recomended lessons that include local advantages. One of the goals is that students can recognize, preserve, process and develop local advantages and also the purpose of contextualizing learning. However this recommendation is completely not followed by educators. The educators are more based on learning recources provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture so that they do not represent a real problem for students. Thus researcher helps educators to prepare lesson plans that integrate NTT’s local advantages. The aim is to observe the activities of student, student learning outcomes and the responses of educators and students to integration of NTT local excellence in Indonesian language learning. The research subjects were educators and students at SMP Negeri 1 Kefamenanu, SMP Negeri 2 Kefamenanu and SMP Negeri Neonbat. Data collection techniques that used in this research were observation, tests, and questionnaires. The results showed that the activity of students reached 78.33 % which was in the good category, the learning outcomes of students reached 79.21 % which was in the good category, the response of teachers and students the integration of local excellence in NTT reached 95.5 % which was included in the very good category. Nevertheless the integration of NTT’s local excellence in Indonesian language learning needs to be carried out continuously because it makes a positive contribution to the students. Abstract

Lyrics are literary works that contain an outpouring of personal feelings. In heuristic reading, rhymes are read based on language conventions or language systems in accordance with the position of language as a first level semiotic system. The study of signs and how they work is called semiotics. Semiotics study is a science or method of analysis to study signs. In this analysis, we look for the meaning of the lyrics of Nadin Amizah's songs in the album Happy Birthday through semiotic and matrix readings and models of Nadin Amizah's songs in the album Happy Birthday. The result of this analysis is that the song written is a picture of Nadin Amizah's life that experienced several problems in her life. It can be concluded that the matrix contained in each song is in the refresh.

Abstract

Speaking Skill learning is one of cumpolsory courses for students in Darmasiswa Program. This study aimed to describe Speaking Skill learning through cooking class method for students of BIPA level B1, Darmasiswa Program, Sultan Agung Islamic University, 2019/2020. Method used in this study was qualitative descriptive method. This study obtained sources from informants, documents, and notes in observation result. This study conducted observation, interview and document analysis in order to collect data. The data validity was tested by method triangulation, data source triangulation, and informant reviews. Data analysis technique used in this study was interactive analysis technique. Based on the result of assessment on speaking skill, it was obtained that respondent 1 got score of 89 in Perfect category (A), respomdent 2 got 84 in Very Satisfying category (AB), and respondent 3 got 79 in Very Satisfying category (AB). Furthermore, it could be concluded that the usage of cooking class method was helpful and able to facilitate the students in Speaking Skill learning on theme of 'Cooking Anticovid-19 Fried Rice' using Indonesian Language well and fluently. In addition, the students got more interest and motivation to participate in Speaking Skill class.

Abstract

Learning to write news in online journalism courses in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program, University of Muria Kudus is difficult for students. Students also have difficulty uploading articles on online news portals. To overcome this problem, online journalism learning implements blended learning, which combines face-to-face learning and online learning with Sunan's e learning using the Moodle application and the online news portal website media, kudusnet.com. This research is a classroom action research. The research subjects were 19 students who took online journalism courses, semester V. The data were obtained by means of test techniques, document review, interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed that the students' ability to write news with the percentage of student completeness reached 52.6% in the first cycle, in the second cycle it increased to 89.5%. The ability of students to post articles on the website has also improved.

Abstract

This study is to describe the language of netizens when using social media, which mostly uses sarcasm. The benefit is that netizens are wiser in speaking in social media because what they are talking about is not necessarily the truth. This study uses a methodological approach. The methodological approach is divided into two, namely a qualitative approach and a descriptive approach. The qualitative approach is an approach that uses arguments in sentences. The descriptive approach in this study is used to provide an orderly description and one or more dependent variables in a particular group, so that it can find the speaker's intentions either explicitly or implicitly behind his speech. The results of this study are deviations in social media, one of which is due to the form of sarcasm language. Sarcasm language if used not at the right time and place can hurt someone's feelings.

Abstract

This research aims to photograph social criticism that is contained in the night story Laksmita Karta S. Prasetyo Utomo. This research is a qualitative-based study. The technique of data collection using document technique, i.e. Laksmita night short story by S Prasetyo Utomo. While the analysis of data using the content analysis technique is to read and understand the contents of the short story and analyze it based on social short story. The results obtained are short stories of "Malam Laksmita" by S. Prasetyo Utomo contain social criticism, in the form of: Criticism (1) religion, especially Islam, (2) culture, (3) economics; and critique (3) environment.

Abstract

The teacher's ability to compile a test script using effective sentences is still very concerning. It is known from the texts compiled by many teachers of SMKN 2 Ngawi that do not have a clear subject or predicate, many word choices are wrong, as well as the use of spelling. Therefore, this study focused on the use of ineffective sentences, especially in terms of equivalence, efficiency, accuracy, and spelling. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. Sources of data are samples of summative questions in SMKN 2 Ngawi, similar research and relevant literature. The technique of data analysis is through reading a sample text summative questions, marking sentences that contain ineffective sentences based on the characteristics of effective sentences, classifying the ineffectiveness of sentences based on the aspects analyzed, calculating the number of errors, concluding aspects of errors and compiling a synthesis of the analyzed data by interpreting them. The results of this study found that 379 sentences were ineffective, consisting of 25.6% error in equivalence, 12.1% savings, 18.2% accuracy and 44.1% spelling.

Abstract

Indonesian language textbooks are the main source of teaching and learning activities used by teachers and students and are used as a reference for gathering information as well as supporting learning activities. The appropriateness of the content of the material is one part of the criteria in the assessment of textbooks. The main problem in this study is how the appropriateness of the content of literary teaching materials, especially the fairy tales of the components of character education values contained in the contents of the Indonesian language book for grade VII SMP. The purpose of this research is to describe the feasibility of the content of literary teaching materials, especially fairy tales from the components of the character education values contained in the Indonesian language book for grade VII SMP.

Abstract

His study intends to describe the ability of students in rhetoric subjects in the subject of "Application of Rhetoric" by using a role playing model and to describe the effectiveness of this role playing model. This study uses experimental research methods. Experimental research itself is a study that is intended to determine whether there is a consequence of something imposed on the subject under investigation. Role playing is more effective in learning rhetoric compared to not using role playing models in learning rhetoric in class IV Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Programs, Pancasakti University, Tegal. This is evidenced by the results of t count 15.26> t table 1.67 in the calculation using the non-independent t test. Rhetoric learning using a role playing model is more effective than those that do not use role playing in its learning. This result is evidenced by the mean value of the experimental class 83.40 which is greater than the control class which is only 77.92. In learning rhetoric using role playing models, students are more active and creative in practice and understand rhetoric, and students' insights are more related to deepening character in rhetoric.

Abstract

Improving the quality of learning should be carried out by educators in this case as a driving force for the learning process to optimize education in accordance with the times. Covid-19 outbreak has brought changes to all levels of society, especially in the world of education. This is the background of learning innovation through the POE model in the Journalism course in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muria Kudus University. Through learning innovation by combining the POE learning model with the use of an online website application through the Jomla program, it will benefit the students of Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program Muria Kudus University because journalism learning is more systemized and more organized because it is packaged in an application. In addition, students are more enthusiastic and motivated, from the process of starting to look for actual news to processing news by uploading them to the online system website through the Jomla application, making students more creative with their work so as to increase learning outcomes in journalism subjects.
