Abstract

The Ma'arif NU Education Institute (LP Ma'arif NU) brought by NU as part of the nation's components has an important role in efforts to realize the ideals of the Republic of Indonesia and the goals of national education. National character education is very important to be taught and mastered by all Ma'arif students as a step to develop, shape and strengthen their personality. So that it has strong national morals and character, high social norms and religious norms that are in accordance with Islamic teachings 'ala tharîqah Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamâ'ah. The development and internalization of the values of the national character of LP Ma'arif NU comes from the teachings of Islam, Pancasila, culture and the goals of national education. Internalization of national character values within LP Ma'arif PCNU Wonosobo is carried out through Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamâ'ah / Ke-NU-an subjects and is strengthened in the form of symbolization, habituation activities, spontaneous activities, exemplary and conditioning as well as integration in co-curricular and extracurricular subjects and activities.
