Abstract

This study aims to analyze the company’s intrinsic value using the dividend discount model (DDM) and price to book value (PBV) of companies registered in LQ 45, in 2010 - 2014. The sample selected by the criterion is always listed in the LQ 45 and pay dividends. The method used is descriptive and quantitative and the measurement accuracy with root mean squared error (RMSE). The results showed that intrinsic value DDM method is more accurate than PBV with an average value of DDM RMSE is smaller than the average RMSE PBV. DDM method is more suitable for companies with growth consistent and at the stage of maturity and always pay dividends. PBV method would be better to assess the company’s stock with similar industries or sectors, so the obvious comparison is cheap or expensive stocks.

Abstract

Background of this research is the apparance of electronic money in Indonesia which is subtitution of cash transaction. There are five objects that will be observed, they are Mandiri e-money, Flazz BCA, BRIZZI, cellular phone’s account, and Tapcash BNI. This research intends to give a representation of positioning maps about electronic money based on people’s perception who both use and do not use e-money in Indonesia 2017. Nonprobability sampling was used and the technique of analysis data is multidimensional scaling. The result of perception based on similliarity showed that Flazz BCA and Mandiri e-money, BRIZZI and Tapcash BNI were alike. However, it was not similar to cellular phone’s account. Result of perception by attributes showed that the user of e-money perceive that Mandiri e-money was the best amongst the others, while non-electronic money user claimed that Flazz BCA was the best.

Abstract

PT. Kereta Api Indonesia has transformed business and information technology applied to electronic ticket. Based on reports complaints from July to December 2016, there were total of 31 complaints on Customer Service about electronic tickets. This research aimed to determine consumer responses about the service quality of electronic ticket and find out how much influence the service quality of electronic ticket to consumer satisfaction of PT Kereta Api Indonesia. The method used in this research was quantitative, while the purpose of the study is descriptive. The sampling technique used in this research is Non Probability Sampling by purposive sampling technique and use 384 respondents. Overall, the service quality and customer satisfaction of electronic ticket were considered good. The influence of service quality of electronic ticket to customer satisfaction was amounted to 55.2%. To improve quality service, PT. Kereta Api Indonesia needs to provide a guarantee.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand and analyze how compensation and working discipline give impact to the job satisfaction in Restaurant Kampoeng Daun Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Samples were employees at Restaurant Kampoeng Daun which amounts to 60 respondents. This research uses a quantitative approach, data were collected by questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. As seen on descriptive analysis, can be seen compensation, working discipline and job satisfaction were catagorized effecvtive. The result of verification analysis shown that compensationin and work discipline have a significant effect to job satisfaction of 66,9%.. Partially, the compensation effect on job satisfaction at 35.4% and working discipline by 31,5%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial ratios in predicting the condition of financial distress, and to determine the factors causing bankruptcy in textile and garment companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research method used to predict financial distress is by using the methods of Zmijewski (X-Score), Olhson (Y-Score), Altman (Z-Score), Grover (G-Score) and Springate (S-Score). The results showed that there were companies that ran into financial distress; five of them used Zmijewski (X-Score) method, ten of them used Olhson (Y-Score) method, nine of them used Altman (Z-Score) method, six of them used Grover (G -Score) method, and thirteen of them used the Springate (S-Score) method. Financial distress is caused by two main factors that come from internal and external. Internal factors include financial structure errors, allocation of funding resources, two consecutive losses, and poor management. External factors include government policy, market demand, poor macro conditions, and intense competition.
