Abstract

Meat is one source of protein that is widely consumed by humans. In general, the meat is largely derived from ruminant livestock such as cattle and buffalo. In consuming this meat almost all people still have difficulty in processing because of low shelf life and high cholesterol content so it can have a negative impact on health. To maintain the shelf life of meat can be preserved by using chemicals such as citric acid. However, the use of chemicals for preservation will affect the quality of meat that will have a negative impact on health. So to overcome this in this study was conducted with the aim to examine the natural materials that exist in nature to serve as materials that have more use in processing the production of livestock, especially meat. These natural ingredients in addition to preserving also lower cholesterol levels of meat. The method used in this research is to blend the three organic materials that have been provided with the ratio of nutmeg, belimbing wuluh and garlic respectively 10%. Then mixed with ruminant meat (beef, goat, buffalo), soaked with each 0, 10, 20, 30 and 40 minutes sampling for bacteria testing, cholesterol test, pH test, water binding test and cooking shrinkage test.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the benefit, the effects of production factors to revenue the carp farming, and to analyze return to scale. Technique the sample collection with the full simple methods, with the sample of the 33 farmers.  The benefit analyze and the Cobb-Douglas production function assited in answering the goal. The research results show production factos simultaneously effect positive and significant to revenue.  Seeds cost and labors cost effect positively and significant to revenue the carp farming of keramba system. but feeds cost and depreciation cost effect not significantly to revenue.  Return to scale of the carp farming of keramba system  is at the condition increasing return to scale, it means worthy of to be developed.

Abstract

Soybean is a much needed agricultural commodity in Indonesia. Soybean production in South Kalimantan in 2012 is 3,860 tons of dry weihgt (tDW), in 2013 4,072 tBK, in 2014 8,946 tDW, in 2015 10,537 tDW. Varieties play an important role in soybean production, because to achieve high yields are highly determined by genetic potential. Potential results in the field are influenced by the interaction between genetic factors with the management of climatic and soil environmental conditions. In podsolic soils and soils containing a lot of quartz sand, soybean growth is poor, unless the soil is given additional organic fertilizer. Bioertilizer is a fertilizer whose main content is living organisms (microorganisms) that are beneficial for plant growth. This study aims to (i) know the growth and yield of two soybean varieties with the provision of biological fertilizers (ii) to obtain the best soybean varieties with the provision of biofertilizer. The research was conducted in March - May 2017 at BPTP Experimental Plant of South Kalimantan Muara Rintis Village, District of Batang Alai Utara Regency of Hulu Sungai Tengah. The treatments were two varieties of soybean namely the national superior varieties (Anjosmoro) and local varieties given biological fertilizer. The result of research shows that all observation variables significantly affect with the best soybean varieties are Anjosmoro Varieties.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Break Even Point (BEP) and the risk of snakehead fish cracker business income in subdistrik seruyan hilir district seruyan, this research was conducted in March 2017 s / d June 2017 in sub district Seruyan Hilir Seruyan District. Sampling using census method or the entire population of snakehead fish cracker processing business owner in Seruyan Hilir Sub-district that actively producing snakehead fish cracker is sampled In this research, there are 14 people who are all sampled in research. The data analysis used was Break Even Point analysis and income risk from snakehead fish cracker business, based on the result of the average fixed cost analysis used Rp 7.095.803 per year and the average variable cost used was Rp 59.779.200 per year , And based on Break Even Point analysis of snakehead fish cracker business conducted for Break Even Point from production of fish snakehead crackers in one production process is 7.96 kg / production and Break Even Point based on sales obtained in one production is Rp 7.324. 303 and the result of risk analysis of snakehead fish cracker income based on business income risk for CV value of 0,17 (0,17 <0,5) and L> 3,749,920,75 (> 0), it can be interpreted that income risk the minimum obtained by the business of fish snakehead crackers in the run of Rp 3,749,920.75 / kg.
