Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit all countries in the world is a sudden humanitarian disaster. This virus is highly contagious, so it is necessary to make direct contact to prevent widespread transmission. Meanwhile, for people who have had contact with people with COVID-19, it is necessary to carry out tracing and activity activities so as not to cause more people to be exposed to COVID-19. Therefore, a supporting infrastructure is needed in the form of web and mobile-based applications to monitor self-quarantine for COVID-19 People Under Supervision (ODP). The Informatics Engineering Study Program, Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering, Jakarta State Polytechnic developed a web-based and mobile-based software application made for the Depok Jaya Community Health Center to support ODP COVID-19. ODP can report complaints and grievances through the mobile application, while the Depok Jaya Community Health Center conducts monitoring through a web-based application. By using this application, it is hoped that it can break the chain of spreading COVID-19 in Depok City, especially in Depok Jaya District.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i2.5090

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education is given to the manager of the Mugibangkit Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes), Munggugianti Kacamatan Benjeng Village, Gresik Regency. The purpose of the activity is to provide entrepreneurship education to improve managerial skills and develop business units at Mugibangkit BUMdes. The implementation of entrepreneurship education activities took place in Munggugianti Village for 12 months. Entrepreneurship education in the form of entrepreneurship theory and practice is divided into four stages of learning including: (1) Exploring the entrepreneurial potential of each BUMDes manager; (2) Transfer of knowledge (entrepreneurship concept); (3) Project-based learning (Preparation of plans for new business units); (4) Mentoring and business evaluation. The results of entrepreneurship education activities: (1) Increasing knowledge of entrepreneurship from 10 managers of BUMDes Mugibangkit; (2) Designing a new business unit (Integrated Tourism Village) in the form of a masterplan which will then be realized into a new business unit at BUMDes Mungibangkit. Abstract

Creative economy development in tourist villages is very important. In supporting the existence of a tourist village, homestays and special food souvenirs are the carrying capacity. Study of economic benefits is needed to strengthen the motivation of citizens in developing this creative economy. This Homestay service aims to provide a new source of income for the family. The Community Service Team organizes activities in several stages by prioritizing citizen participation. The service method used is the Community Based Development or Participatory Approach. This method is used to ensure the commitment of citizens to this economic empowerment program. With the participation of residents who are the basis of this program, it is believed that the program will continue after the mentoring period ends. The result of this dedication is the first, the arrangement of the house into a homestay with the category of "in-house". The housing facilities were tidied up and equipped for the benefit of tourists, but did not leave the typical life of the residents as the main attraction. Second, management of typical food packages and chips souvenirs. Residents are given a discourse to make culinary packages that are marketed online to be ordered by prospective tourists who will visit. Taro chips, which are one of the household activities that have been managed in a simple manner, are directed towards better and more attractive management and packaging. Abstract

The implementation of this activity aims to improve the management of policy documents and service standards, increase the capacity of implementing resources and increase the value of public service performance at Balai Teknik Air Minum. Methods of implementing activities include socialization and field visits, desk documents, training and assistance related to public service policies and standards. The duration of the activity is 13 (thirteen) effective working days. Achievements in the implementation of these training and mentoring activities include: i) identified various weaknesses in improving the performance of public services that have been implemented, ii) increasing understanding of leaders and implementers of public services about managing policy documents and public service standards, iii) preparation of policy documents and public service standards which refers to the PANRB Ministerial Regulation No. 15/2014 and the PANRB Minister Regulation No. 17/2017, iv) The results of the self-assessment show an increase in the performance of public services from 2.66 (53.30) category C (Enough) to 3.45 (69.13) category B- (Good with Notes). The results of the evaluation of training and assistance activities in the preparation of policy governance documents and public service standards on 5 (five) indicators reached a score of 54 in the very good category.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i2.5465

Abstract

COVID-19 is a SARS virus infection that has spread throughout the world including in Indonesia. The existence of this pandemic has a significant impact on all countries, such as health, economy, education, and all supporting sectors of a country. In Indonesia itself adapting the New Normal to deal with this global pandemic. New Normal is associated with new habit changes that also impact the health level of children. So, the purpose of community service (PKM) is to provide education as an effort to increase the child's immune system in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. This PKM is implemented at the Baca Rumah Kita Foundation in the Mejoyo Tenggilis sub-district. This PKM is carried out by presenting counseling to school-age children with interactive methods and games as well as health checks as screening and providing supplements to improve the child's immune system. Based on the PKM results, it was found that the children were enthusiastic about this activity. From the results of health screening, participants aged 5-10 years were 84.21%. With a nutritional status of 47.37% less, 15.79% less nutrition, 26.32% good nutrition, and 10.53% over nutrition. Based on the results of this screening, it can be used as a measure that the growth and development of children in this region needs special attention, especially during the current pandemic.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i2.5001

Abstract

The COVID-19 virus has infected many people, resulting in death tolls around the world. So, it is necessary to adopt a clean and healthy lifestyle and implement health protocols such as using masks, washing hands and maintaining distance. This community service activity aims to provide education and assistance to community representatives in Desa Bojongsoang, Bandung, to always implement a healthy and clean lifestyle and health protocols. Educational activities are carried out by providing counseling with the methods of lectures, discussions, and questions and answers. Material delivery is also conveyed through the media of posters, so that the posters can be affixed to strategic areas so that it can be seen and read effectively. In this activity, an evaluation of the level of community compliance in implementing health protocols while outside the home was also carried out, by distributing questionnaires before the activity took place. As a result, in general the community is disciplined in applying health protocols while outside the home. Several findings were also obtained in this simple survey, so that these findings can be used as initial data/information for local stakeholders to streamline education and socialization in efforts to prevent the massif transmission of the COVID-19 virus.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i2.5354

Abstract

This community service program focuses on mentoring and developing small business based on culture. The partner of this activity is Paguyuban Sangga Braja which is located in Batu City. Paguyuban Sangga Braja has a cultural product called as udeng or the typical headband of Batu City. This udeng is designed with an emphasis on the history, philosophy and local wisdom of Batu City which also aims to become a traditional characteristic of Batu City. The problem faced by partner is that partner has an expectation that this cultural product will become a characteristic of Batu City, unfortunately people of Batu City are still not aware with the existence of this udeng. So, problem focus in this program is related to the marketing of this udeng in Batu City so that it is better known by public. To overcome this problem, the community service team helps partner in terms of assistance and improvement from the marketing aspect. Visual video and booklet used were chosen as the right alternative at that moment because it can be used to inform people about the existence of udeng and increase public awareness of this product in Batu City. In addition, the team also provided assistance to the IPR registration so that the copyright of Udeng could be more secure. The results of this community service show quite good results with video and booklet containing the philosophy and ways of using udeng as a marketing medium and an IPR certificate to protect the copyright of this udeng.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i2.5171

Abstract

Many people feel helped by the health center services and there are also people who are not satisfied. The Community Satisfaction Survey (SKM) was conducted to determine the quality of services provided by community health centers. For government-owned public service providers, the Minister of PANRB issued a regulation on SKM Number 14 of 2017. Based on information from the Head of the Primary Health Care Section of the Central Lombok Regency Health Office in 2019 only 6 puskesmas out of 28 puskesmas conducted a survey but the documents sent did not comply with the guidelines. This is because the puskesmas do not understand the benefits of SKM, have not received socialization, do not yet understand the techniques for conducting SKM and the calculation of survey results. The solution offered in this workshop is to provide knowledge about SKM, about the 9 elements of public service quality that determine satisfaction, providing skills in collecting and visualizing online data from survey results. The results obtained from this activity were an increase in the knowledge and skills of public health centers regarding SKM and the implementation of online data collection and visualization of the Community Satisfaction Survey went well.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i2.5384

Abstract

Understanding and preparing basic financial reports is essential and necessary for every entrepreneur. This Community Service Activity is essential to do, considering that not many members of the Komunitas Usaha Ekonomi Kreatif Kayoetangan Heritage of Malang City have made financial records for their business. A total of 27 members and administrators of the Komunitas Usaha Ekonomi Kreatif Kayoetangan Heritage participated in this training. The main purpose of this community service activity is to provide simple training on theapreparation of basic accounting financialareports, both for service companies and trading companies. The lecture method is used in this community service. Unfortunately, pandemic conditions hampered the implementation of this training. Researchers then used online or online methods as a training solution amid a pandemic. The training results showed that the participants were enthusiastic about participating in this training, which was shown by the participants being active in conducting discussions. The participants’ assessment of the training activities was excellent. For training and community service in the future, assistance should be provided to training participants to implement financial reports for entrepreneurs fully.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i2.5161

Abstract

Organic farming is a natural cultivation system without using chemicals. These organic vegetables and ornamental flowers are cultivated naturally by compost and using organic pesticides. The fertilizer used in this educational process is compost fermented with Local Micro Organisms or MOL, at the location of the Cahaya Alam Foundation which is located in Kucur Village, Dau District, Malang Regency. The method used is to educate about growing organic vegetables and ornamental flowers properly, with limited land conditions. The solution given was to create an effective planting medium for cultivating organic vegetables and ornamental flowers in accordance with the limited land available at the Cahaya Alam Foundation. The planting medium uses polybags, and a simple screen house for organic vegetable nurseries. The output obtained from organic farming education is to provide assistance in the cultivation of organic vegetables at the demonstration plot, construction of screen houses and simple polybags, providing counseling, mentoring and learning to solve problems in cultivating organic vegetables and ornamental flowers at the Cahaya Alam Foundation.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i2.5116
