Abstract

The development of an increasingly modern and advanced era makes designs or models experience rapid development. In meeting the times, both in terms of design and quality of workmanship. the technique of applying ornaments will increase the selling value of a batik leather shoe product which is still rare for batik leather shoe products on the market. The concept of making shoe works is taken from the form of the kawung batik motif, namely an ancient batik motif consisting of an arrangement of elliptical (oval) shapes that have four equal sides. exploration stage, design stage, and embodiment. Application of kawung motifs on leather as shoe decoration using batik techniques. Batik techniques on leather media are almost the same as batik techniques applied to cloth media. The development of the kawung batik motif in functional works such as women's shoes is expected to be a new breakthrough to create other functional works that take the theme of tradition, especially the tradition of the archipelago into contemporary fashion works. Abstract

Final project planning aims to create a party fashion design that combines the source of ideas and fashion style chosen. The source of ideas from the final project design is Enviromental Pollution. Environmental Pollution poured into clothing with a pattern application patchwork dan tie dyed techbiques as fashion motifs, meanwhile fashion style is avant garde. The type of clothing chosen is eveing dress. The materials used in the final prpject design are linen, tulle, and silk catton fabric for tie dyed. Abstract

This final project takes sunflowers as a source of ideas to be developed into designs and then realized in the form of children's clothing using tapestry, knitting, and pattern magic techniques, in order to explore techniques in developing sunflower motifs in 3D clothing. For the purpose of using the source of the idea of ​​​​sunflowers because sunflowers themselves are a depiction of optimism and joy that are suitable for the concept of children's clothing. The method used in the process of creating this fashion work is through design exploration (concepts, determination of the chosen concept then design development from the concept, determination of the selected design, experimental techniques used, determination of the right technique from experiments), execution of works (pattern making, pattern cutting, etc.) making tapestry, laying patterns on fabrics, cutting fabrics, sewing processes, and finishing. The final product is three stage children's clothing with artsy style that uses a combination of tapestry and knitting techniques and the use of ATBM lurik fabrics as traditional fabrics. Abstract

Fashion design in this Final Project aims to create a party fashion design that combines the source of ideas and fashion styles that have been selected. The source of ideas from this design is Bleeding Heart. Bleeding Heart itself is incorporated into clothing with the application of the Pattern Magic pattern and the Water Marble technique as a fashion motif, while the fashion style is the glamor style. The type of clothing chosen was evening party clothing. The materials used in this design are satin bridal and organza materials for water marble. The colors of the materials in this design follow the color of the source of the idea. In this final project design clothes are made specifically for women on the occasion of night parties with ages 21 to 26 years. This Final Project is made in standard size, that is m2. Abstract

Batik Semarangan has a variety of motives, including architectural motifs (Lawang Sewu, Tugu Muda, Sam Po Kong, and others) and floral fauna motifs (asem, tendrils, fish, etc.). One of batik Semarangan's unique and interesting motifs is Warak Ngendog's motif. Visualization of Warak Ngendog motif is made by referring to the mythological animal of Semarang belief. This journal will discuss the visual motives of Warak Ngendog through the semiotic viewpoint. This viewpoint sees batik motifs not merely images, but as cultural texts in which operate marking practices that lead to the method of reading batik motifs as a text. With this point of view Warak Ngendog's motives will be analyzed by traces of visual detail, how to form visual constructs, and to track his social history. Abstract

ABSTRACT Batik fractal is a modern batik made refer to the tradition motif combined with fractal visual in computational way. As an innovation in the arena batik Nusantara, batik fractal managed to integrate the digital technology with fractal visuality as a major milestone work design. It has produced a form of batik modern that play an important role in bringing batik Nusantara to face the global competition. This journal will discuss the relationship between batik fractal with batik tradition in the constellation batik Nusantara through the aesthetic comparative study.
