Abstract

The application of Biblical integration is the core of Christian education. Universitas Pelita Harapan is one of many universities that has a Conservatory of Music, in the Faculty of Art, and commits to implement Christian education in its learning process. This study was conducted in January-April 2016 to know: 1) How Biblical integration is designed in Faculty’s core curriculum; 2) In what level Biblical integration is applied in Faculty lectures nowadays; 3) What are the challenges and obstacles faced by the lecturers while/want to apply Biblical Integration. With qualitative approach, data was collected by using interview, questionairre, documents, and observation. The subjects of this study were 1 Vice Rector, 1 Dean, 1 Head Study, 10 full time lecturers, and 40 students. The research shows that: 1) Biblical integration has not been designed in Faculty curriculum, especially in SAP; 2) The application of Biblical integration has not been done comprehensively; 3) Not only lecturers experience some difficulties to integrate the subject with the Bible in SAP, but also not all students in the Faculty are Christians.

Abstract

This article examines the HTI organization whose ambition is to realize the caliphate system in Pancasila land. The existence of HTI is ideologically and practically very destructive of the spirit of the identity of the Indonesian nation as a state with schemes. The existence of the HTI organization raises concerns for the future of a pluralistic Indonesian nation. During the Reformation era, HT / Hizbut Tahrir's activities turned into an organization that received legal legitimacy from the Government so that the Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia organization was formed. The purpose of this article is to capture how the history of HT development reached Indonesia? What is the government's attitude towards HTI organizations in Indonesia? How did the "spirit" of HTI followers carry out their propagandistic actions after the HTI organization was dissolved by the government. For this reason, the method used in this research is a qualitative method (literature) which focuses on the topic of the Hizbut Tahrir movement in Indonesia. As a conclusion in this study are (1) The ideology of the caliphate brought by M. Mustofa (Indonesia) and Abdurrahman al-Baghdadi (Lebanon) who are members of HT based in Jordan then spread the ideology of the caliphate in Indonesia, (2) President Jokowi in 2017 officially disbanded HTI organizations, (3) Lectures containing anti-government and Pancasila narratives built by HTI preachers in mosques, utilizing democratic facilities and freedom of expression in public spaces to socialize caliphate discourse by taking cover behind preaching.

Abstract

Many people when they have problems only focus on the problem and cannot feel God's goodness. No matter how hard the problem, you can still feel God's goodness. May this kindness be a reason to praise God when experiencing problems. The research objective is to find reasons for praising God according to Psalm 103. This research uses descriptive-inductive methods. The result of this research is the nature of Allah who is gracious and compassionate, long patient and also a lot of kindness. Researchers conclude that whatever happens in the life of a believer he must still praise God.

Abstract

This research aims to clearly understand the role of the pastor in a biblical manner in GBI BIG Jakarta, so that it is carried out in increasing, providing spiritual food, and visits, within the congregation. The role of the pastor is very important for the spiritual growth of the church, so that it is in accordance with the Word of God so that the congregation will grow and mature spiritually that is good and true. At GBI Bless Impact Generation, the pastor always provides healthy benefits to open the congregation's insight about the Word of God. This research was conducted using descriptive methods, focusing on an object by studying a case. The researcher concluded that the role of pastors in GBI Bless Impact Generation is carried out by learning and being able to change congregations to practice God's truth. The congregation can be nurtured and the shepherding goes well.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to see whether there was a relationship between Christian Religious Education and Family Education with youth behavior. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The number of instrument items consisted of 30 items for variable X1, 30 items for variable X2, and 30 items for variable Y. Requirements for analysis showed that the data came from a population with normal and linear distribution. The results showed that there was a relationship between the variables of Christian Religious Education and Family Education with youth behavior, by displaying a double (R) of 0.593, and the coefficient of determination (R square) of 0.352 and the coefficient of multiple determination (Adjusted R square) of 0.317. This means that the contribution made by Church PAK (X1) and PAK Keluarga (X2) together with Christian youth behavior (Y) is 31.7% and the rest is from other factors. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive relationship between Church PAK and Family PAK with Christian adolescent behavior.
