Abstract

This article examines the learning process that applies the small group discussion method or abbreviated as SGD. Small group discussion is one of the collaborative learning activities which in this learning aims to maximize the process of cooperation between students in the continuity of the learning process. Some elements emphasized in this method are the social skills of students and groups so that they are active in receiving the material presented and provide opportunities for students to dare to criticize ideas and maintain students' logical thoughts. So with the application of the SGD method, it is expected that motivation and a sense of enthusiasm in student learning can increase, so that students can follow the learning process well which of course makes students not bored when the learning process takes place

Abstract

Linguistics play an important role in the development of a alnguage. Analogy, which is one of the studies in linguistics, has a direct influence on the development of language rules. Many linguistic’s figure discuss analogy in general and specifically a language, one of which is the French father of modern linguistics, Ferdinand de Saussure. This study aimsto reveal the notions and concepts of analogy according to Ferdinand. The method used by the writer is descriptive method. From this study, it is known that the concepts of western analogy and arabic analogy have many similarities. The difference is in the learning method and its implementation.

Abstract

Islam is Sundanese, Sundanese is Islam, a very well-known sentence among the Sundanese people. This term is a benchmark that since the entry of Islam in Tatar Sunda, Islam has contributed a lot in building Sundanese society. Among them is the enrichment of loanwords from the Koran. This study aims to determine what words are absorbed from the Koran and then become the language used by the Sundanese people in their daily lives. In addition, this study also intends to determine the semantic changes of the words adopted from the Koran. The method used in this research is the descriptive analysis method. The results showed that there were about 287 loanwords from Sundanese originating from the Koran. This research also shows that there are changes in the loan words mentioned above in semantic terms. Semantic change is divided into three, namely: a narrowing of meaning, an expansion of meaning and a change in meaning as a whole.

Abstract

This research is one way to overcome students' problems in decreasing abilities and motivation caused by boring learning situations, and also experiencing burnout in learning. Suggestopedia method is a suggestology, which states that humans can be directed to do something with suggestions and make efforts so that the mental capacity of human deposits that are still hidden can be mobilized for learning purposes by organizing a comprehensive system. In the suggestopedia method, the intermediate level of maharah al kalam learning is an oral review section called the oral review section, presenting new and discussed material, and also meditation. This study uses a library research type reaserch (library research), with a descriptive qualitative approach. Secondary data is data collected from information in the form of articles, electronic journals, and previous relevant theses and theses that have a relationship with the title of the research to be studied. From the results of the analysis the researcher found learning that was very fun, which was very satisfying and very ideal, soft chairs, soft light, and music were always available to add to the relaxed atmosphere. Posters (replaced every week) are installed displaying grammatical information on the target language with the intention of being able to benefit students in learning with the Suggestopedia Method. The materials for the suggestopedia method in Maharah al-Kalam, including: a) Memorization of vocabulary and symbols with the underlying grammar rules. b) The use of realistic (real) conversations and comments about the conversation. c) The use of pictures, dramatic stories, short stories, recitations, songs, and field trips where students can speak the target language. d) The use of phonetic transcription for vocabulary, introducing verb forms as early as possible, and the use of a tape recorder.

Abstract

Textbooks are an essential element in the learning process. Good or low quality will affect the quality of education. Therefore this research is considered necessary, namely evaluating textbooks published by the Ministry of Religion in 2014. The problem in this study is the extent to which Arabic textbooks published by the Ministry of Religion implement 2013 in all madrasas in Indonesia. The conclusion of this study about the three Arabic textbooks is that there is no relation between the three textbooks' approaches with the Regulation of the Minister of Religion. No. 165 approaches, the three textbooks have the feasibility of the content of the material substance and have included the characteristics of the 2013 curriculum implementation. This research is a descriptive study, where the primary data source is Arabic textbooks—included in the category of non-interactive research or analytical research, using the Content Analysis method.

Abstract

This research aims to develop the comic educational method for teaching reading in the seventh grade at Al-Jawhara Al-Naqiya Intermediate Islamic School, Cibeber Cilegon. Moreover, knowing the effectiveness of the humorous educational method for teaching the skill of reading in the seventh grade of the Al-Jawhara Al-Naqiya Intermediate Islamic School, Cibeber Cilegon. To achieve the purpose above, the researcher uses the Borg and Gall development theory to achieve the purpose above and uses the research to a type of Research and Development (R&D) that refers to the Borg and Gall model using six steps in development. The community in this research is 105 students from the three semesters, and its sample is 26. The methods of data collection used in this research are observation, interview, and testing. As a result of developing the humorous educational method for learning the reading skill, the pretest result is seen at 61 and the post-test result 82. Therefore, the average score in reading skills was upgraded from the pretest to the post-test with 20.
