Abstract

The purpose of this study was to gain a proper understanding of the influence of leadership style on performance with gender as a moderating variable. This research is a field. This method is intended to test the influence of leadership style variable (X1) as the independent variable on the performance variable (Y) as the dependent variable, and examine the effect of gender (X2) as a moderating variable between leadership style and performance. Than 80 questionnaires administered, 75 (100%) is returned in full. The study found that gender moderates the influence of leadership style on performance.

Abstract

This paper aimed empirically to determine the effect of learning strategies on organizational commitment and affective dimensions, continuance, and normative. The research sample of 80 respondents selected from employees of commercial banks in Indonesia with purposive sampling. Data analysis used regression model. The results showed that the dimensions of organizational commitment, affective, continuance, and normative were predicted by learning strategies. In other words, learning strategies has been a role in increasing employee commitment in the organization, having regard to the dimensions affective, continuance, and normative. Thus, learning strategies strongly associated with organizational commitment.

Abstract

Globalization is one of the important issues that have changed investment environment. The development of a country's economy cannot be separated from the country's stock index movement, because the movement of stock indices followed the optimism and pessimism of stock investors. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the NYSE index, NIKKEI, FTSE and SSE to JCI. This study uses a correlational approach with data analysis techniques with multiple regression analysis and assisted by using SPSS for Windows version 20. The population in this study is a report on global stock indices, so that the sample used is Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) in the period January 2011 to by March 2014 when the closing price from January 2001 to March 2014 so that there are 160 data. Results of statistical calculations found that (1) There is a positive influence on the NYSE Composite Index; (2) There is a positive influence NIKKEI against JCI; (3) There is a positive influence on the FTSE JCI; and (4) There is no positive impact on JCI SSE.

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain empirical about the direct influence of organizational culture of leadership and job satisfaction on organizational commitment lecturer. In addition this study aimed to obtain empirically the direct impact of leadership and organizational culture on job satisfaction. This study used a survey method with path analysis techniques. The population in this study are all university professors Jayabaya much as 134 people. A sample taken from the population of 100 people by using Slovin formula. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion presented produce the following findings: (1) There is a direct effect of the positive leadership organizational culture and job satisfaction on organizational commitment; (2) There is a direct effect of the positive leadership and organizational culture on job satisfaction.

Abstract

Nowadays, public accounting firm is an organization a lot of challenges and problems at the same time, as business competition is very tough. The growing number of professional auditors who work in the organization, the professionalism of auditors and job satisfaction on performance. A quantitative analysis was used to identify current auditor performance. Its approach was used to explain the effect of proffesionalism and job satisfaction on auditor performance. In addition to it, activities which are related to proffesionalism, job satisfaction, and auditor performance are described.
