Abstract

This study intended to create a sea wave simulator to find out the potential of ocean wave power plants. To achieve the objective, this study used two systems: generation and reading. Generation used a DC motor as a drive from sea waves, while readings employed an IMU-GY86 sensor for readings of altitude and energy potential generated. The result of this study is that air and air pressure affect the results of measuring the wave height of seawater. Air pressure is inversely proportional to the elevation of a place: the higher the area, the lower the air pressure. The highest potential energy density of seawater waves amounts to 2405.33 J/m2, and the lowest was 550.18 J/m2, with an average value of seawater wave density energy of 1342.41 J/m2.

Abstract

The assessment system to determine the best employees at the Yogi shop has not been systemized. It is still limited to the regular assessment assessing the best employees to get an annual bonus based on the owner and manager's assessment, so it seems less accurate and less targeted towards employees who will be given annual bonuses. This study aims to build a decision support system to determine the best employees using the TOPSIS method to make it easier for owners and managers to determine the best employees. The data processing method in this study is the TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method. The criteria used in this research are attendance, work attitude, responsibility, discipline, cooperation and creativity. From the results of the tests, it concluded that the blackbox testing process was successful. The results of this study are a decision support system to determine the best employees at the Yogi Banyumas store.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of angle changes on the primary fixed sheave and roller mass on torque, acceleration, engine power, and top speed of automatic motorcycles. This type of research is experimental research. The subjects in this study were 125 cc automatic motorcycles modified at the angle of the primary fixed sheave and the mass of the rollers. The angles of change were 14.5Ëš, 13.5Ëš, and 12.5Ëš; while the change in roller mass was 14, 13, and 12 grams. The testing began with tuning up the motorbike, then installing the fixed sheave and roller primary units that have been modified to the CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) primary drive for further testing, and collecting the data using a dyno test tool. The results of this study show that: 1) Changes made to the primary drive pulley, especially to changes in the angle of the Primary fixed sheave and the weight or mass of the roller with the application simultaneously affect the torque, acceleration, engine power, and top speed of automatic motorbikes; 2) changing the angle of the primary fixed sheave (13.5Ëš) with the application of a roller weight of 13 grams can increase the maximum speed (top speed) by 0.4 (Kph) compared to the standard ones; 3) the increase in power and torque resulting from changes in the primary fixed sheave and the weight of the rollers applied at the same time do not significantly increase top speed and acceleration. Conversely, low power and torque do not necessarily reduce the top speed and acceleration of automatic motorcycles.

Abstract

Many natural ingredients can be used as biofilters, but the use of biofilters is constrained by the difficulty of knowing when the saturation period is so that the active ingredients can be replaced immediately. The research aims to make a smart control of the active period of a motor vehicle exhaust biofilter that effectively provides information about the active period of the biofilter used. The tools and materials used are motorbikes, exhaust biofilters, MQ-135 sensors, exhaust filter housings, ESP8266 Node MCUs, 16 x 2 LCDs, switches, jumper cables and smartphones. The data collection method uses measuring CO2 levels using the MQ-135 sensor, which is read on the LCD screen and sends notifications to smartphones via the Telegram application. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis presented in tables and graphs. The results showed that the smart control filter is a blend of leaf biofilter Simplicia, filter housing, MQ-135 sensor, power bank, IoT, LCD screen and cellphone installed with the Telegram application. To turn on the sensor so it can send notifications to the LCD screen mounted on the speedometer, you need to turn on the ON button. CO2 levels and filter status will be read on the LCD screen. Notifications are also sent to cellphones via the telegram application so owners can find CO2 levels and control the active period of using leaf biofilter simplicial.

Abstract

A control system in the form of an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is needed when a blackout occurs from the PLN that will be transferred to the generator. The research problem was how to save costs for making ATS that can run efficiently. The purpose of this study was to find out how to save costs for making ATS that can run well and efficient. The method used was Research and Development. The Research and Development stages included: collecting data, designing, and testing. To save costs for making ATS, the researchers used the Timer Delay Relay (TDR), as using TDR reduces the cost of making tools because the component prices are relatively affordable. The way the ATS system works is when the PLN electricity is on, the battery will be charged by the battery charger, and when the PLN electricity goes out, the inverter will get a voltage supply from the battery, that was originally 12V will be changed to 220V. The TDR makes it easier to determine the appropriate time when the voltage is stable. Based on the experiment, the time when the voltage is stable is 6 seconds.

Abstract

Heart disease is one of the deadliest diseases in and is the number one killer in the world so many studies are carried out to contribute to predicting a person's heart disease. This study aims to help create an early heart disease prediction model from the UCI Machine Learning Repository dataset. The method proposed in this study is a deep learning technique that applies an artificial neural network algorithm with a hidden layer technique in making a heart disease prediction model. This research stage found problems in improving the accuracy of the datasets used by dealing with problems in pre-processing data, such as missing data and determining the form of data correlation. The model was then tested through a heart disease dataset and yielded 90% accuracy. With the creation of this prediction model with python programming, it is hoped that in addition to helping to make disease predictions, it can also provide further innovations in data science in the health sector.

Abstract

This research designs and builds a special website for photography galleries, where this application is made to help and make it easier for photographers to store and exhibit photography widely via online media. So far, the storage media for exhibiting photographers' results is still conventional, for example exhibitions of certain photographers' artworks or special events. This makes it difficult for art enthusiasts or novice photographers to see or display their photography results. The website design uses the waterfall method and uses HTML, CSS programming language tools with the TailwindCSS framework, PHP, and MySQL as the database.
