Abstract

Moral education at MTs Nurul Islam plays a significant role in shaping students' character through the approach of Tazkiyatun Nafs. This research aims to optimize moral education by focusing on three main aspects: implementation, supporting and inhibiting factors, and the outcomes of the learning process. This study uses a phenomenological approach and a qualitative research methodology. Interviews, observations, and documentation were used to gather data. The findings demonstrate that moral education is conducted in an organized way, where teachers utilize various interactive teaching methods to maximize the moral education process. This study seeks to develop a moral education model based on Tazkiyatun Nafs at MTs Nurul Islam. This approach focuses on purification of the soul and moral enhancement through the development of self-awareness, emotional control, and the formation of positive character. Supporting factors include student motivation and adequate facilities, while inhibiting factors involve students’ difficulties in understanding the material. Overall, moral education based on Tazkiyatun Nafs at MTs Nurul Islam has been able to produce positive changes in students' behavior, making them more aware of moral actions and contributing to society. This research recommends improving teaching methods and providing environmental support to further optimize the moral education process in the madrasah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the diniyah program in shaping religious character, determine the role of madrasah and diniyah teachers in shaping religious character, and the impact of the implementation of the diniyah program in shaping character at MTs Miftahul Huda Ma'arif 23 Central Lampung. This research uses descriptive research which includes qualitative research. Data collection techniques by means of semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation and documentation. Sample determination using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The data validity test is by triangulating sources, techniques and time. The results showed that the implementation of the diniyah program in shaping religious character consisting of activities of reading prayers and asmaul husna, reading the Qur'an, learning tajweed science, tahfidz Qur'an, practicing ablution and prayer had a positive impact on the religious character of students who were getting better and disciplined in terms of carrying out worship such as prayer, the ability to read the Qur'an which is increasingly fluent and has memorized the Qur'an, likes to read the Qur'an, has a polite attitude to the teacher, does not skip class during class hours, shows respect for differences in the implementation of worship, has a sense of empathy for friends who are in trouble, leaving school always ablution, not ashamed to say sorry if you do wrong.

Abstract

Memorizing the Qur'an which is prioritized because of its own will without coercion from others or parents, where the will is driven from the belief in spiritual values with sincere intentions solely for Allah. One way to overcome the laziness of students or memorizers of the Qur'an is to provide motivation, for example, such as both parents memorizing the Qur'an, giving crowns to parents in the afterlife or telling stories of memorizers of the Qur'an.  The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the use of the Tarteel application in improving the memorization ability of the Al-Qur'an of students at MAN 1 Tanggamus. The research method used in this study is quantitative research, with a research design using Pretest-Posttest. Data collection was done with tests, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that there is an effectiveness of utilizing the Tarteel application in improving the ability to memorize the Qur'an of XI social studies class students at MAN 1 Tanggamus. This can be seen by proving the Effect size test with the acquisition of d = 1.467> 0.8 whose category is high. So it is concluded that the use of the Tarteel application in improving the ability to memorize the Qur'an of students. For the effectiveness of the Tarteel application, this can be proven by the average value of N-Gain in Class XI IPS 7 (Experiment class) is greater than Class XI IPS 5 (Control class) with a value of 0.68> 0.47.

Abstract

This article aims to describe appropriate strategies and educational challenges for the millennial generation. The type of research is descriptive analytical, namely describing and analyzing problems using expert theories about values ??education from an Islamic perspective. The millennial generation is the generation born between 1980-2000. They have the characteristics of liking to rely on the speed of instant (ready-to-eat) information, liking existence, liking opinions, growing their image, broadening their insight, liking freedom, liking personalization, liking learning, working in an innovative environment, actively collaborating, hyper technological, critical, confident, connected, lazy, not deep, not grounded, or less social. The results of the research state that the strategy from an Islamic perspective is to teach values ??to the Millennial Generation, including rahmatan lil alamin/compassion, instilling deeper values ??in the Qur'an and Hadith, instilling local wisdom values ??and so on.

Abstract

Improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning is becoming increasingly important amid the challenges of globalization and digitalization, especially when spiritual values often receive less attention in modern education. This article aims to examine the concept of Islamic Education learning in the Qur'anic perspective, focusing on the dimensions and principles of learning that are relevant for the contemporary era. This research uses a literature study approach with content analysis of Qur'anic verses related to education, as well as literature review of academic journals and book literature. Data were collected through literature review and analyzed descriptively-qualitatively to identify a comprehensive conceptual framework. The results showed that the Qur'an offers a holistic educational framework that includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor dimensions, as well as principles such as exemplarity, relevance, justice, patience, and development of individual potential. The integration of Qur'anic values into innovative learning strategies, such as project-based methods and the utilization of digital media has the potential to create relevant, effective, and meaningful learning experiences for learners.

Abstract

Learning fiqh material has been delivered using conventional methods, namely lectures. This method leaves many problems, especially regarding learning effectiveness and student involvement. Therefore, a model that integrates technology into learning is needed, one of which is the use of audiovisual media. This media not only allows the delivery of information visually and auditorily but also offers opportunities to increase active student involvement through interesting and easy-to-understand material. So the use of audiovisual media can be a solution to overcome some of the shortcomings of the lecture method. This study focuses on 1) The learning process using audiovisuals at MTs Darussalam, and 2) The effectiveness of utilizing audiovisual media in teaching fiqh in class IX. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design. The subjects of the study were fiqh teachers who used audiovisuals and 32 class IX students. Data collection was carried out through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. This study found that 1) Learning by utilizing audiovisual media in fiqh learning in class IX MTs Darussalam Kumalasa has been implemented well. This can be seen from several aspects such as specific planning and selection of audiovisual video content that is relevant to the material being delivered. 2) The effectiveness of the use of audiovisual media in fiqh learning in class IX MTs Darussalam Kumalasa can be measured through various indicators, such as increased learning outcomes. This is reflected in the level of learning outcomes and student understanding that has increased, with a percentage of 27 students, or 84.37% having achieved KKM, from previously only 17 students,s or 57.12%. There are only 5 students or 15.63% who have not achieved KKM, from previously 15 students, ts or 46.88% who have not achieved KKM.

Abstract

The cultural diversity in Indonesia makes this country rich in various cultural activities and celebrations held in various regions of Indonesia. So the focus in this article is on the role of the two largest community organizations in Indonesia, namely Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Muhammadiyah, in participating in the Pengging Fair festival activities, which are identical and steeped in the culture of the Pengging kingdom and its historical heritage, so that they can display a moderate Islamic image. The research method used was a descriptive-qualitative approach. The research subject is the chairman of the 2018 Pengging Fair Committee (Muhammad Rifqi). The data collection techniques used were non-participatory observation, documentation studies, and interviews. The conclusions of this article are: first, the multicultural approach promoted by Nahdlatul Ulama (Islam Nusantara), which is synonymous with preserving local traditions; and second, the concept of religious moderation, which is in accordance with Muhammadiyah's Progressive Islamic thinking, which is identical with the concept of modernity and openness in facing the flow of globalization. Both of them managed to unite at the Pengging Fair Festival and prove that Islam is the religion of Rahmatan lil 'alamin.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine life skills education at Pondok Pesantren Fathul Ulum Jombang. This research is particularly interesting because, as a pesantren still using the salafiyah learning model, life skills education is an inseparable part of the curriculum. The research uses a qualitative method, with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis is descriptive. The results of the study show that the life skills education provided at Pondok Pesantren Fathul Ulum Jombang is fascinating due to its unique approach. Students who enter the Aliyah level are required to choose one of the available majors, one of which is the "preunur" (entrepreneurship) major. In this major, life skills education receives a larger portion than religious education, and students in this major are given the responsibility to manage the pesantren’s businesses. Another unique feature of life skills education at Pondok Pesantren Fathul Ulum Jombang is that there is a specific day dedicated to life skills education, focusing on all business aspects of the pesantren, which all students must participate in. Furthermore, the pesantren's caregivers provide lectures using the Ihya’ Ulumuddin book, specifically the chapter on work, to strengthen students' enthusiasm and belief that life skills education is just as important as religious education. The implications of life skills education at Pondok Pesantren Fathul Ulum Jombang are greatly felt by students and alumni in building their independence, both economically and in terms of entrepreneurial spirit.

Abstract

An integral part of Islamic religious education is learning the Five Pillars of Islam. However, the ideas behind the Five Pillars of Islam are difficult for many students to understand and memorize. This is due to the lack of interactivity and reliance on traditional teaching methods. Students lose interest in learning and end up forgetting what they have learned. As a result, Islamic Religious Education must adopt more modern teaching approaches to make the lessons more interesting and useful for students. Interactive quiz-based media, such as the Quizizz app, can be used as one method. Using the Quizizz app in particular, this study aims to investigate new ways of teaching the Five Pillars of Islam through interactive quiz media. By observing one Malaysian kindergarten, this descriptive qualitative research aims to. The study analyzed the impact of using Quizizz on students' understanding and engagement in learning the Five Pillars of Islam. The subjects of this study were children studying at Tadika Alfikh Orchard, Bandar Parklands, Klang. The research findings show that the use of Quizizz and other forms of interactive media can arouse students' interest in learning the pillars of Islam and improve their understanding of the subject matter.

Abstract

The abstract research to know and test the social status relationship of the family's economics with discipline to perform moldy prayers, Social status economics on the discipline of guilds in MAN 3 boyolali 2020 / 2021.This research uses a quarantinative approach., The sample in this study was 78 responders from the population of 98 xi class students in MAN 3 Boyolali 2020 / 2021 with questionnaire data collection techniques and sampling techniques using prompling techniques.Data analysis uses the coruct moment correlation analysis with the application prop sps version 26.0 of this study shows: a ) the economic status rate of the student family of xi in man boyolali 2020 / 2021 is divided into the middle category of 57 families (73 %) with the average value of 85.32.Middle value of 83.5.Mode value of 80.65 with 9.28 deviation standard. B ) discipline performs moldy prayer students of the xi class in MAN 3 Boyolali 2020 / 2021 is a medium category of 57 students (73 %) with an average value of 89.53. Mid value is 91.15..Mode value of 99.67 with standard deviation 8.9. C ) Based on the result of the production point correlation got the value of r count by 0.309 then it was consulted with r tables at n = 78 and the signification of 5 % by 0.2199.Because > so the alternative hypothesis is accepted is that there's a positive relationship between the social status rate of the family's economics and discipline to perform the secular prayer of xi students in the madrassa aliya of the boyololi state of 2020 / 2021.Keyword: economic social status level, Discipline performs moldy prayers. 2020 / 2021 is a medium category of 57 students (73 %) with an average value of 89.53.Mid value is 91.15..Mode value of 99.67 with standard deviation 8.9.
