Abstract

In this paper, NdFeB is used to design a new type of magnetic force actuator (MFA) with simple structure and high reliability. The permanent magnets are fixed on the static iron-core to generate a magnetic field, while the movable part locates within the magnetic field. It can drive the arc extinguishing unit powered by the Lorentz force, and this can be applied to the operation of the long-stroke high voltage circuit breaker (HVCB). At the open and closed position, the PMs generate holding force for the moving iron-core to keep the static state. Then, the finite element method(FEM) and prototype test are adopted to study the properties of PM and characteristics of the actuator. The simulation concludes that the material type and structure size of PM, end cap material and processing deviation of the actuator will impact the static characteristic of the actuator. The results of the test on prototype show that MFA using NdFeB can achieve the high power output, which is conductive for electronic control as well as the displacement tracking. Due to its stable performance, NdFeB is reliable in the running of the magnetic force actuator. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i6.1410

Abstract

It is a common problem of manufacturing enterprise limited by business line, which optimized its resources allocation to increase productivity, but now the researches are very weak in relationship mapping and network analysis method in the world. Aimed to the demands, proposed a resource allocation method limited by business line of manufacturing system based on the relational mapping of production system, manufacturing model of hierarchical network based on business line and node degree are been established. Defined the data structure of node on hierarchical network, simplified the network computing by dividing it to three parts - orders assignment, accomplish feedback and pure information exchange. Analyzed the distributing of network degree, established an equation of power law which has two limited parameters of node degree and side weight to automatic compute the amounts of resources of new order. Case study shows that the network analysis method limited business line proposed in the paper can give us an important reference frame of resources assignment. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i6.1415

Abstract

The multisensor information fusion is a key issue for multisensor system. One of its difficulties lies in the switching of the state of sensor clusters. That is, which direction should the sensor information been fused into at a given moment? An algorithm of multisensor information fusion based on rough set and neural network was proposed in this paper. Firstly, the typical clustering distributions of 54 sensors within one day were regarded as sample space. The rough set was used for access of knowledge to make the decision table of the "data - fusion distribution". Next, the redundant properties and samples of information in one month were removed using the method of knowledge reduction of rough set. Then, the neural network was applied for clustering and analyzing to form the distribution rules of multisensor information fusion. Finally, the rough neural fusion algorithm, the neural quotient space fusion algorithm and word computing fusion algorithm are simulated and analyzed. The results show that the model and algorithm proposed in the paper are efficient in classification and rapid in sensor clustering distribution decide. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i6.1661

Abstract

According to the principle of hydromechanics, the flow characteristic of drilling fluid on the screen is studied. In consideration of affecting factors, sieving model equations including kinematic equations and continuity equation for drilling fluid shale shaker are established. This paper shows a novel solution to the sieving model equations by using average energy principle and finite differential method. The computer simulation program of flow capacity of the shaker is developed. The model will be of great significance in evaluating screening performance and screen selection. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i6.1399

Abstract

In VLR (verifier-local revocation) group signature, only verifiers are involved in the revocation of a member, while signers are not. Thus the VLR group signature schemes are suitable for mobile environments. To meet the requirement of speediness, reducing computation costs and shortening signature length are two requirements at the current research of VLR group signatures. A new VLR group signature is proposed based on q-SDH assumption and DTDH assumption. Compared with the existing VLR group signatures based on DTDH assumption, the  proposed scheme not only has the shortest signature size, but also has the lowest computation costs , and can be applicable to mobile environments such as IEEE 802.1x. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i6.1428

Abstract

Latex dipping machine is based on a latex patent products new-production condom and the development of the machine. The latex dipping agencies combined with production condom mechanism. First it realized a 3-dimensional accurate localization system using stepping motors. SIMATIC S7-200 series programmable controller, motion module EM253 and stepping motor are tied in wedlock to realize allocation of 3-dimension of X axis and Y axis and Z axis. Through the PTO pulse of Siemens S7-200 PLC controller and combined with the use of EM253 module, through the mould precise control programming soak glue and roll edge to achieve the control mold of rotation and swinging the uniform distributed latex. And the system has applied successfully in foreign-funded enterprise of Singapore. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i6.1447

Abstract

The power electronics course is a rather challenging subject for instructors and undergraduate students pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. To enhance teaching effectiveness and motivate self-learning capabilities of the students, this paper presents a pedagogical approach for mathematical modeling and simulation of switching mode DC-DC converters. The Buck and Boost converters are analyzed as benchmark systems to study the power converter modeling methodologies. And a comparative analysis using digital simulation from Matlab/Simulink and ATP/EMTP is presented. A summary of student survey is also presented, which shows a high level of satisfaction. The presented pedagogical approach would be useful for classroom teaching for the power electronics course and similar engineering courses.DOI:http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i6.1361

Abstract

In order to solve the self-occlusion problem in plane-based multi-camera calibration system and expand the measurement range, a tri-camera vision system based on binocular calibration is proposed. The three cameras are grouped into two pairs, while the public camera is taken as the reference to build the global coordinate. By calibration of the measured absolute distance and the true absolute distance, global calibration is realized. The MRE (mean relative error) of the global calibration of the two camera pairs in the experiments can be as low as 0.277% and 0.328% respectively. Experiment results show that this method is feasible, simple and effective, and has high precision. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i6.1417

Abstract

For the current transformers (CTs) on the delta side measure the line current instead of the phase current, line current differential protection is adopted in transformers connected in wye-delta mode currently. However, the symmetry feature of inrush current in line current differential protection may invalidate the inrush current restrained criterion. A calculating method of current through delta windings according the measured current from CT is proposed in this paper. Using this calculated current, phase current differential protection can be realized. Based on the method an adaptive second harmonic restrained scheme for magnetizing inrush current is presented. The scheme not only adaptively adjusts the secondary harmonic ratio of restrained current but also guarantees the fast action when transformers with internal faults are no-load energized. Consequently the performance of transformer differential protection is greatly improved. Simulation results in Matlab/Simulink validate the proposed method. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i6.1413
