Abstract

 By our research and implementation of intelligent device management and diagnostic system which are based on Wireless HART Technology. In this essay we focus on the application of the wireless HART intelligent devices, explaining the wireless HART protocol and its four-level model, putting forward the wireless HART-USB potable gateway, by which the operating personnel at the scene can obtain data for diagnosis and modification directly from the PC. Then we briefly discuss the design module of intelligent device management system. In the end, we mainly emphasize on the introduction of the mathematical model which is based on the pneumatic control regulator and is used for diagnosis. Abstract

In this paper, a recursive inverse method is applied to solve the identification problem of inertia force between the cantilever and moving mass. The recursive inverse method consists of two parts: Kalman filter and recursive least-square algorithm. The basic Euler-Bernoulli beam model is introduced. Then, the differential equations and the state space model of the modal responses and the inertia force can be obtained. Finally, the recursive inverse method, which is based on the discretized state function of the system, is adapted. The identification results show that the recursive inverse method is suitable to be adapted in this problem. Abstract

The tranditional MEMS pressure sensor based on Silicon (Si) material has not been suitable for operating in severe condition such as high-temperature (>500°C). However, as an alternative material, Silicon Carbide (SiC) can be used in hash environment due to its unique properties. Hence this paper presents a touch mode capacitive pressure sensor with double-notches structure, which employs a special SiC-AlN-SiC sandwich structure to achieve high-accuracy pressure measurement in high-temperature environment. In order to get the relation of capacitance and external pressure, the large deflection theory is applied in simulation analysis of the diaphragm deformation. At the same time, the sandwich structure and technical process of the sensor are studied in the paper. The results showed that the sensor has excellent high-temperature performance due to application of SiC and AlN materials, and the sensor has higher sensitivity and longer linear range than traditional single-cavity structure. Consequently, the sensor can be applied to accuracy pressure measuremet in high-temperature and harsh environment. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i8.1692

Abstract

The tracing precision of high-precise linear motor is greatly influenced when moved at a low speed because of the friction. This paper aims at a practical angle, on the base of traditional Stribeck friction model, we added in position parameter to set up a new model .According to the new model, we designed out the forward back controller to identificate and compensate the system. at last, the stability of systems has also been analyzed by using Liapunov functions and LaSalle Invariance Principle.The simulation results shows our model has improved the tracing performance. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i8.1645

Abstract

The testing image have a certain degree of ambiguity when Application of machine vision method for MEMS dynamic parameters were measured.This paper presents a sub-pixel algorithm: Using self-similar characteristics of fractal interpolation to overcome the problem ,that can not be accurate interpolation and the edge of the image reconstruction. Then because of abilities of high resolution and anti-noise,after that using wavelet transform to obtain the image edge detection.The experimental results show that the algorithm can reach 0.02 pixel accuracy. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i8.1643

Abstract

Now the using of process simulation software is more and more widely in many fields especially in chemistry and metallurgy plant designing. The process simulation software provides great convenience for experts and engineers, they can analysis the new process and calculate the heating/material balance by process simulation software, and calculate complex process that the traditional tool EXCEL can not do. Abstract

In this paper error sources existing in the on-line inspection system for numerical control machines are analyzed. A mathematical model of the geometric errors of a three-axis machining center is created and the pretravel variations are obtained in different directions. Then an error compensation is applied to improve the accuracy of the on-line inspection system. A methodology of spatial statistical analysis of machining errors for free-form surfaces is proposed. Through the on-line inspection of a machined workpiece, the measured points and their machining errors are obtained. By analysis of these machining errors using the spatial statistical analysis, the machining errors are decomposed into systematic errors and random errors, which will provide the basis for machining error compensation during the subsequent process. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i8.1969

Abstract

Musical robots have already inspired the creation of worldwide robotic dancing contests, as RoboCup-Junior's Dance, where school teams, formed by children aged eight to eighteen, put their robots in action, performing dance to music in a display that emphasizes creativity of costumes and movement. This paper describes and assesses a framework for robot dancing edutainment applications. The proposed architecture enables the definition of choreographic compositions, which result on a conjunction of reactive dancing motions in real-time response to multi-modal inputs. These inputs are shaped by three rhythmic events (representing soft, medium, and strong musical note-onsets), different dance floor colors, and the awareness of the surrounding obstacles. This layout was applied to a Lego-NXT humanoid robot, built with two Lego-NXT kits, and running on a hand-made dance stage. We report on an empirical evaluation over the overall robot dancing performance made to a group of students after a set of live demonstrations. This evaluation validated the framework's potential application in edutainment and its ability to sustain the interest of the general audience by offering a reasonable compromise between musical-synchrony, animacy and dance performance’s variability. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i8.1327

Abstract

A general framework of hydraulic fault diagnosis system was studied. It consisted of equipment knowledge bases, real-time databases, fusion reasoning module, knowledge acquisition module and so on. A tree-structure model of fault knowledge was established. Fault nodes knowledge was encapsulated by object-oriented technique. Complete knowledge bases were made including fault bases and diagnosis bases. It could describe the fault positions, the structure of fault, cause-symptom relationships, diagnosis principles and other knowledge. Taking the fault of left and right lifting oil cylinder out of sync for example, the diagnostic results show that the methods were effective. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i8.1637

Abstract

Application of GPRS and GIS in boiler remote monitoring system was designed in this paper by combining the advantage of GPRS and GIS in remote data transmission with configuration monitoring technology. The detail information of the operating conditions of the industrial boiler can be viewed by marking the location of boiler on the electronic map dynamically which can realize the unified management for industrial boiler of a region or city conveniently. Experimental application show that the system has convenience to use, high reliability, which play an active role to improve the operating efficiency, to prevent the boiler accident, and to decrease the energy consumption. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i8.1655
