Abstract

In the traditional immune genetic algorithm, crossover and mutation can disrupt the superior chromosome, so make the algorithm took a long time to converge to the best solution. The way of crossover and mutation based on marginal product model which can make the algorithm converge quickly was proposed in order to avoid the disruption of the superior chromosome. The pseudo parallel evolution mechanism was also brought into the proposed algorithm in order to enhance the diversity of the population. The convergence character of the algorithm is analyzed. The model theorem of estimation of distribution immune genetic algorithm was given and the convergence rule was also given. Simulation results of several benchmark functions show that the proposed algorithm is superior than genetic algorithm immune genetic algorithm. So the proposed algorithm is correct and feasible. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i1.1933

Abstract

A broad range of investigations has been carried out to suggest that the facet joint capsule is a source of neck pain and the pain may arise from large strain in the joint capsule that will cause pain receptors to fire. To in vivo measuring cervical facet capsule strain, a special liquid metal was selected as a sensing element to develop a high-range miniature wire strain gage. The calibration tests and a sled rear-end impact experiment were carried out to examine the technical behavior of this strain gage. It is shown that: This strain gage has a relatively high strain range and a relatively high degree of linearity. Due to a miniature wire structure and a relatively high degree of flexibility of use as well as a minimal external adhesive force, this strain gage has the capability of in vivo testing cervical facet capsule strain. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i1.1922

Abstract

The paper introduced the present status of speech emotion recognition. In order to improve the single-mode emotion recognition rate, the bimodal fusion method based on speech and facial expression was proposed. The emotional databases of Chinese speech and facial expressions were established with the noise stimulus and movies evoking subjects' emtion. On the foundation, we analyzed the acoustic features of Chinese speech signals under different emotional states, and obtained the general laws of prosodic feature parameters. We discussed the single-mode speech emotion recognitions based on the prosodic features and the geometric features of facial expression. Then, the bimodal emotion recognition was obtained by the use of Gaussian Mixture Model. The experimental results showed that, the bimodal emotion recognition rate combined with facial expression was about 6% higher than the single-model recognition rate merely using prosodic features. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i1.1873

Abstract

Crushing of high-sulfur coal was important for physical desulfurization, but there were little research on crushing mechanism. This paper combined digital image processing technology and rock failure process analysis system RFPA2D to simulate the failure process of high-sulfur coal in Pu'an of Guizhou under uniaxial compression, and discussed the influence of horizontal restraint, existence and different geometric distribution of pyrite particle on mechanical performance and failure process of high-sulfur coal. The numerical results indicated that without horizontal restraint the compressive strength of high-sulfur coal was lower and monomial dissociation of pyrite particle was more sufficient than that with horizontal restraint. The compressive strength of coal containing pyrite particle was larger than that of pure coal and there was stress concentration in upper and lower pyrite particle during failure process. When pyrite particle distributed in the middle position of a coal sample, the compressive strength was higher than that of the other three positions, but monomial dissociation of pyrite particle was more sufficient than that of the other three positions, and this was beneficial to the following desulfurization operation. The study had certain reference value for crushing mechanism, crushing process design, selection of breaking equipment and energy saving and consumption reduction. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i1.1889

Abstract

Evaluation of e-commerce network security is based on assessment method Bayesian networks, and it first defines the vulnerability status of e-commerce system evaluation index and the vulnerability of the state model of e-commerce systems, and after the principle of the Bayesian network reliability of e-commerce system and the criticality of the vulnerabilities were analyzed, experiments show that the change method is a good evaluation of the security of e-commerce systems. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i1.1905

Abstract

Based on the in-depth analysis of issues in dRBAC model, which include the lack of commission depth control in distributed environment, the inefficiency of cascading revocation of the authorization roles and the incapability of judging whether the commission violates the principles of RBAC model before it is done, this paper proposed MD-dRBAC Model, designed trust management mechanism for MD-dRBAC Model, which was used to control the access, established the credible authority commission tree and finally proposed the detection algorithm for implicit authorities upgrading to avoid violation of the least privilege principle in RBAC model Extensive security and performance analysis show that the proposed schemes are highly efficient and secure. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i1.1917

Abstract

The conjugate gradient method is welcome method for solving optimization problems due to its simplicity and low storage. In this paper, we propose a kind of conjugate gradient method. The presented method possesses the sufficient descent property under the strong Wolfe line search. Under mild conditions, we prove that the method with strong Wolfe line search is globally convergent even if the objective function is nonconvex. At the end of this paper, we also present numerical experiment to show the efficiency of the proposed method. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i1.1796

Abstract

Shearlet as a new multidirectional and multiscale transform is optimally efficient in representing images containing edges. In this paper, a total variation based multivariate shearlet adaptive shrinkage is proposed for discontinuity-preserving image denoising. The multivariate adaptive threshold is employed to reduce the noise. Projected total variation diffusion is used to suppress the pseudo-Gibbs and shearlet-like artifacts. Numerical experiments from piecewise-smooth to textured images demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively suppress noise and nonsmooth artifacts caused by shearlet transform. Furthermore, it outperforms several existing techniques in terms of structural similarity (SSIM) index, peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and visual quality. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i1.1868
