Abstract

When EV failure happens, it needs to take some fault-tolerant method to ensure people’s safety. When the current sensor and speed sensor are out of work, the software fault-tolerant control algorithm switching strategy can be used. This paper has done theoretical analysis of the rotor field-oriented vectoe control algorithm into the open loop constant V/F control algorithm, and the phase angle compensation method is used to reduce the shock of current and torque, and simulation is done in MATLAB/Simulink.  DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i10.3426

Abstract

Traditional monitoring systems are based on C/S mode because desktop software still has inherent advantages though desktop software is replaced by web applications rapidly in many fields. Meanwhile, traditional monitoring systems use relational database as data source, however, relational database lacks the ability to process influx of queries per second. In this paper, we will do an in-depth research to design an architecture to implement event-driven web monitoring systems. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i10.3466

Abstract

On the basis of analyzing the shortcomings of traditional authentication mechanism synthetically, the paper presents a new kind of P2P identity authentication model. In the new P2P Identity authentication model, it authenticates the identity of nodes by using  a new Zero-Knowledge proof identification scheme which combines the advantage of RSA. Besides, during the process of validating nodes’ identity, CA (Center Authentication) doesn’t need to participate in. At last, Simulation results show that the new P2P identity authentication method can improve the safety of network effectively. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i10.2943

Abstract

In this paper we generalize established techniques and blending algorithm for quaternions to dual quaternions to include all rigid transformations, and implement real-time character animation with dual quaternions under the platform of OpenGL. Classical quaternions are restricted to the representation of rotations although combination of matrix calculation and quaternions operator has been a popular tool in character animation since 1990s. In character animation and some other applications of 3D computer graphics, we are actually faced with rigid transformation which just includes translation and rotation. Similar to the way quaternions represent rotations, dual quaternions represent rigid transformations. Algorithms based on dual quaternions own better properties than those based on quaternions in practical applications, which include reduced overhead, increased computational efficiency and coordinate invariance.. Finally we demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of dual quaternions blending algorithm by cartoon male and female mesh models with the animation of walking and waving. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i10.3339

Abstract

Instant messaging software, as a convenient network communication tool, is becoming more and more popular. At the same time, it also brings risks in security of local area network (LAN). Through studying in typical instant messaging software and detected by the combination of misuse detection and protocol analysis, an architecture of detecting and blocking mechanism of instant messaging software is proposed in this paper and its prototype system is achieved on Windows platform. This new system effectively solves the problems that the efficiency of traditional firewall application layer data filtering is low and the firewall cannot dynamically adjust the filtering rules, providing a good application value for the protection of the security of local area network. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i10.3394

Abstract

A new method of signal decomposition based on the baseband to reduce the PAPR which Decompose the OFDM signal into two signals, The new method  and its degree of PAPR improvement are introduced in detail . Two thresholds are introduced, compare threshold Tc and decompose threshold Td .Simulation the results in different thresholds .The results show that the method can reduce the PAPR greatly. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i10.3389

Abstract

This paper distinguishes the differences between dynamic and static operating system from the design target, and discusses the resulting different technologies used when system is implemented. Based on this theory, according to ISO17356 OS specification and using the hardware abstraction layer idea, a simple and efficient static real-time operating system is implemented for ARM architecture, and the kernel contains no more than 3000 lines C codes. With the idea of separating mechanisms and strategies, the internal resources are used as a mechanism to implement different scheduling policies; proposes a priority-based packet scheduling algorithm, which achieves a good performance both in time and space. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i10.3405

Abstract

As a popular sports event, clay pigeon uses real guns and bullets as its tools. To improve the training effect, reduce its cost and danger, the development of a real-time interactive and perceptive virtual training system by using simulation technology becomes urgent. This system uses Visual C++、Vega、Creator as its development platform to conduct modeling and simulation of clay pigeon’s and grapeshot ‘s flying path and the collision effect of the two objects. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i10.3421

Abstract

Grating displacement measurement technique is an important means to achieve precise displacement measurement of nanometer scale. Moiré fringe phase difference measurement is the basis of grating displacement measurement technique. Traditional Moiré fringe subdivision method based on DFT algorithm has low frequency resolution relatively when extracting Moiré fringe fundamental frequency spectral line, which causes frequency and phase measurement errors of Moiré fringe fundamental frequency. CZT spectrum zoom technique can improve the frequency resolution of frequency band near Moiré fringe fundamental frequency and get fundamental frequency spectrum lines more exactly, which can solve the problem of low frequency resolution of DFT. The paper studies the relation of Moiré fringe phase difference and grating displacement, and analyzes the working principles of DFT and CZT spectrum zoom method. DFT and CZT spectrum zoom are used for Moiré fringe spectrum analysis and phase difference calculation respectively. Simulation results show measurement error of Moiré fringe phase difference with DFT algorithm is in 10-3degree scale, while measurement error with CZT spectrum zoom algorithm is approximate 0 degree. The comparison results show CZT spectrum zoom method has better performance and applicability, which improves the phase difference measurement accuracy of Moiré fringe effectively. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i10.3461

Abstract

Through the analyzing of limitations on wavelet threshold filter de-noising, this paper applies wavelet filter based on compressed sensing to reduce the signal noise of spectral signals, and compares the two methods through experiments. The results of experiments shown that the wavelet filter based on compressed sensing can effectively reduce the signal noise of spectral signal. The de-noising effect of the method is better than that of wavelet filter. The method provides a new approach for reducing the signal noise of spectral signals. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i10.3198
