Abstract

This article study chip communication mechanisms deeply based on the NoC (Network on Chip) technology and a load equalization of virtual channel (LEVC) routing algorithm for Torus networks is proposed, which splits the physical network into virtual networks in the case of physical link load equalization. According to the predefined rules, packets use different virtual networks on their way to destinations and network achieve no deadlock, no livelock purpose. The algorithm study load equalization on the level of virtual channel by introducing the random factor. Simulation results show that compared with the negative first for Torus networks algorithm, the network performance can be dramatically improved for different traffic pattern by selecting a specific value of the random parameter respectively. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i11.3483

Abstract

In this paper, an efficient residue to binary converter design for the new high dynamic range moduli set {2n-1,2n+1,22n,22n+1,22n-1-1} is presented. The reverse conversion in the four-moduli set {22n, 22n+1, 2n+1, 2n-1} has been proposed in literature. Hence, the converters are based on the new moduli set {22n-1-1, (2n-1)(2n+1)(22n+1)22n} and propose its residue to binary converter using New Chinese Remainder Theorem 2 ( New CRT 2). The new moduli set is proposed with a dynamic range 8n-1 bits and has the same features of the popular one. When compared to the common five moduli reverse converters, this enhanced moduli set has more dynamic range, and it useful for high performance computing. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i11.3499

Abstract

This article introduces the application background and research overview of esophageal stent. The finite element models of two different forms of braided esophageal stent, such as cup-spherical-shaped and straight shaped, are created. Based on the configuration of material model selection and boundary condition, the stress and axial elongation of the stent with different wire numbers, different wire diameters and different leads are compared. The analysis results show that the maximum stress increases with the increase of the wire diameter and head, but decreases with the increase of the lead in straight stent while the maximal stress has a positive relationship with the wire diameter in cup-spherical-shaped stent. In the case the other parameters are the same, it is shown that the cup-spherical-shaped stent has the minimal stress when the crown number is 24. Meanwhile, the analysis results show that the lead has a great impact on the axial elongation of braided stent. In the case all parameters are the same, the axial elongation of cup-spherical-shaped stent is less than that of straight stent, which conclusively proves that the performance of cup-spherical-shaped stent is superior to that of the straight stent. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i11.3512

Abstract

In this paper, an interval type-2 fuzzy neural network (IT2FNN) control system is proposed to control a two-axis motion system, which is composed of two permanent magnet linear synchronous motors. The IT2FNN control system, which combines the merits of an interval type-2 fuzzy logic system and a neural network, is developed to approximate an unknown dynamic function. Moreover, adaptive learning algorithms that can train the parameters of the IT2FNN online are derived using the Lyapunov stability theorem. Furthermore, a robust compensator is proposed to confront the uncertainties. To relax the requirement for the value of the lumped uncertainty in the robust controller, an adaptive lumped uncertainty estimation law is also investigated. The proposed control algorithms are implemented. From the simulated and experimental results, the contour tracking performance of the two-axis motion control system is significantly improved and the robustness can be obtained as well using the proposed IT2FNN control system. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i11.3528

Abstract

A new method of tracking the near space hypersonic vehicle is put forward. According to hypersonic vehicles’ characteristics, we improved current statistical model through online identification of the maneuvering frequency. A Monte Carlo simulation is used to analyze the performance of the method. The results show that the improved method exhibits very good tracking performance in comparison with the old method. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i11.2786

Abstract

In order to improve the high efficiency and security of supply chain information coordination under cloud computing environment, this paper proposes a supply chain information coordination mode based on cloud computing. This mode has two basic statuses which are online status and offline status. At the online status, cloud computing center is responsible for coordinating the whole supply chain information. At the offline status, information exchange can be realized among different nodes by using the pre-backup supply chain information and network address of other nodes. This coordination mode coordinates the whole supply chain information through the cloud computing center at the online status and maximizes the overall benefit. Meanwhile, the offline status effectively avoids the risks to the whole supply chain brought by the overdependence of cloud computing on network and the high information concentration. The two statuses have good customers’ satisfaction and higher order finished rate in supply chain. The simulation experiment based on multi-Agent verifies the effectiveness of this mode in this paper. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i11.3453

Abstract

The present hydraulic variable-pitch mechanism of wind turbine uses three hydraulic cylinders to drive three crank and connecting rod mechanisms respectively; the blades are moved with the cranks. The hydraulic variable-pitch mechanism has complex structure, occupies a lot of space and its maintenance is trouble. In order to make up for the shortcomings of hydraulic cylinder variable-pitch system, the present hydraulic variable-pitch mechanism should be changed as follows: hydraulic motors are used to drive gears; gears drive blades; the electro-hydraulic proportional valves are used to control hydraulic motors. The hydraulic control part and electrical control part of variable-pitch system is redesigned. The new variable-pitch system is called hydraulic motor driving variable-pitch system. The new variable-pitch system meets the control requirements of blade pitch, makes the structure simple and its application effect is perfect.  DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i11.3494

Abstract

The multimode compound guidance is an important guidance system which can assurance missile impact accuracy in the complicated electromagnetic environment. Aiming at the data fusion filtering problem of multimode compound seeker, this paper presents a two-stage data fusion algorithm. First of all, each sensor data is send into first-stage fusion structure for centralized fusion processing after time registration, and then the processing results are sent into second-stage fusion structure for distributed fusion processing with radar and infrared information processing results. Meanwhile, in order to solve the problems that the different observation information in distributed fusion structure has different dimensions, the observation data is extended to the same dimension. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the data fusion efficiency, and improve the efficiency of the filter convergence accuracy and convergence speed, which has a certain guiding significance to engineering practice. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i11.2696

Abstract

In the bilateral hydraulic servo control system of a construction tele-robot with in-situ force sensing, the p-f type force feedback architecture is liable to result in an impact on the operator hand, and its high amplitude will cause the control unstable. In order to solve this problem an improved force feedback control method with the feature of a T-S fuzzy feedback coefficient, which could be modified online nonlinearly and continuously, is proposed. And a RBF-PID force controller is also designed, and formed a bilateral hydraulic servo control system. The experimental results indicate that the new improved control method reduced the impact of the feedback force, the compliance and transparency of the tele-operation of construction tele-robot system are enhanced. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i11.2731
