Abstract

For the spraying mobile robot working in greenhouse, due to the inconsistency of drive motors and the rough walking surface, it is easy to track off. For the liquidity of pesticide, the load always changes even the speed jumps. Because of these uncertainties, external disturbances and the difficulty of constructing the system dynamic model, it is hard to implement the trajectory tracking control of the spraying mobile robot steadily, precisely and quickly. In order to solve the problem, a smooth sliding mode trajectory tracking control method is proposed based on the distribute control strategy for each branch. Moreover, its stability is proved using the Lyapunov function. The simulation results show that the proposed method can track the reference trajectories precisely, quickly and steadily under the strong white noise. The chattering phenomenon of the control law is restrained compared to the conventional sliding mode control. The trajectory tracking performance is better than that of the fuzzy control. The designed method is easy to realize and doesn’t need to construct the precise mathematical model, so, it affords an economical and convenient control method for solving the trajectory tracking problem of the greenhouse spraying mobile robot under various uncertain interferences. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i2.1988

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a single-channel speech enhancement method in terms of subspace techniques to reduce the noises from speech signals in various noises environment. This subspace approach based on Karhunen-Loève transform and implemented via Principal component analysis. The optimal subspace selection is provided by a minimum description length criterion. An offset factor generated from the white noise was used to modify the variance to adapt to the specified colored noise. Several objective speech quality measures have been introduced to give an overall evaluation of the proposed method. A large amount of data and figures, as well as the audio quality evaluation results, testify that the algorithm provides high performance for the input signal-to-noise ratio range from -5dB to 10dB. It is showed that the proposed approach have excellent characteristics for colored noises in strong background noise environment with lower signal-to-noise ratio. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i2.1999

Abstract

Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is a key component designed to enable computers achieve greater security. Several vulnerabilities discovered in the TPM highlight the necessity of formal analysis. The procedure invoking an API may be regarded as several interactive processes between the TPM and a user. As a result, the current study formalized the API specifications proposed by Trusted Computing Group (TCG) using applied pi calculus. Meanwhile, two authentication properties between them were also described in a formalized way. With the help of the tool ProVerif, the flaw of the command TPM_CertifyKey was discovered. It was also confirmed on the TPM emulator. Subsequently, the modified API was presented and its authentication properties could be satisfied after verifying again. Results show the model is valid. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i2.2034

Abstract

To solve the shortage in genetic algorithms, such as slow convergence speed, poor local searching capability and easy prematurity, firstly, the immune memory recognition function was introduced, to speed up the searching speed and improve the overall searching capabilities of genetic algorithm. Secondly, the Hénon chaotic map was introduced into the generation of the initial population, made the generated initial population uniformly distributed in the solution space, to reduce data redundancy, increase the diversity of antibody population and the search range of initial population manipulation , prevent the defect of falling into local optimum. Finally, Logistic map was introduced into manipulation of crossover and mutation, meanwhile the map was used to produce the chaotic disturbance strategy on the memory and populations antibodies , to improve the quality of optimal solution and the searching speed of the algorithm, increase efficient of searching. It was proved that the above hybrid algorithm is convergence by mathematics method. The results of function optimization show that the above hybrid algorithm is valid and has better performance than other algorithms. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i2.2063

Abstract

A vision-aided navigation system for autonomous aircraft is described in this paper. The vision navigation of the aircraft to the known scence is performed with a camera fixed on the aircraft. The location and pose of the aircraft are estimated with the corresponding control points which can be detected in the images captured. The control points are selected according their saliency and are tracked in sequential images based on Fourier-Melline transform. The simulation model of the aircraft dynamics and vision-aided navigation system based on Matlab/Simulink is built. The unscented Kalman filter is used to fuse the aircraft state information provided by the vision system and the inertial navigation system. Simulation results show that the vision-based navigation system provides satisfactory results of both accuracy and reliability.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i2.2250

Abstract

As a result of the adoption of new photovoltaic technology, electronic transformers have great advantages compared with traditional electromagnetic type, such as anti-saturated, high linearity, compact and lightweight etc. The working principle of sensing head of electronic current/voltage transformers is introduced in the paper. The causes of phase error in electronic transformer are analyzed. And a set of phase compensation methods based on the signal transfer principle of electronic transformer is presented. The phase-difference caused by Rogowski coil and time-delay in signal transferring from high voltage side to merging unit are analyzed, and the higher sampling rate and the method of linear interpolation is used to solve the problem. In the simulation test the phase error compensation effect is very good, and the simulation result shows that the integrated error after compensation is able to meet the requirements of the measurement and protection, and demonstrates the validity of the method. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i2.1983

Abstract

Electrorheological fluids(ER fluid) as an electrically controllable acoustic medium has been proved by experimental studies. In this paper, the sound attenuation in ER fluid at different propagation distances was experimentally studied. The results show that sound attenuation of ER fluid could be adjusted by the particle concentration of ER fluid and the intensity of electric field. Amplitude of sound wave in ER fluid increases with the increasing of particle concentration and field intensity; on the other hand, the attenuation of sound wave decreases with the increasing of propagation distance, as well as the particle concentration and field intensity. The experimental results indicate that the solidification effect of ER fluid is beneficial to the propagation of sound wave. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i2.1994

Abstract

In space networks, the long time delay, large scale and maintainability of difficultly nature makes key management more difficult than ground wireless networks. The main challenge is how to handle 1-affects-n problem that become more serious as entities spread over a wide geographic area. To solve it, this paper proposes a one-to-many mapping shared key agreement, which is based on one-to-many encryption mechanism model. In the proposed key agreement, each entity has different decryption key and shares an encryption key. When an entity joins or leaves network, updated keys only are public encryption key and its decryption key. However, the other entities’ secret key remains unchanged, so as to each member has the ability to update key autonomously. Consequently the performance of the proposed key management scheme is unrelated to the network scale, node mobility and topology structure. It is shown that our proposed key management scheme not only improves the efficiency and flexibility for space networks, but also achieves good security properties, including forward security and backward security and many more by theoretical analyses. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i2.2029
