Abstract

The classical algorithm for mining association rules is low efficiency. Generally there is high redundancy between gained rules. To solve these problems, a new algorithm of finding non-redundant association rules based on frequent concept sets was proposed. The Hasse graph of these concepts was generated on the basis of the FP-tree. Because of the restriction of the support most Hasse graphs have losed lattice structure. During building process of the Hasse graph, all nodes were formatted according to the index of items which were found in the fequent-item head table. At the same time these nodes were selected by comparing supports. In the Hasse graph, the intention of node is frequent itemset and the extension of node is support count of this itemset. And the non-redundant association rules were gained by scanning the leaf nodes of the graph. The simulation shows the feasibility of the algorithm proposed. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i7.2803

Abstract

Winding is a key process in the manufacturing process of textile industry. The normal and effective operation of winding process plays a very important role on the textiles’ quality and economic effects. At present, a large proportion of bobbins which collected from winder still have yarn left over. The bobbin recycling is severely limited and quick running of winder is seriously restricted, the invention of the the automatic bobbin sorting machine has solved this problem. The ability to distinguish bobbin which has yarn left over from the rest and the classification accuracy of color are the two important performance indicators for bobbin sorting machine. According to the development and application of the color recognition technology and the artificial intelligence method, this study proposes a novel color recognition method that based on BP neural networks. The result shows that the accuracy of color recognition reaches 98%. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i7.2820

Abstract

In the program controlled exchange technology college course, the signal transmission and voice data exchange for the communication system were usually achieved by utilizing the program controlled telephone exchange equipment choosing MT8980 series chip as the processing core which was limited to the numbers of communication channels and inflexibility of information interchange manners. A variety of extern circuits, taking time slice generation circuit and tone signal generation circuit as examples, will even be required which directly causes the complexity of the whole structure. Considering the disadvantages referred above, a new method of SPC (Stored Program Control) exchange exploiting FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) is proposed in this paper. The time slice generation, signal tone generation, user calls, voice data exchange functions, as well as other secondary functions, were realized by applying the new approach which allows the further development through hardware in-system programming. The superiority of the means is furnished in the end via comparing the experimental data in detail. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i7.2830

Abstract

Automatic hydraulic press is widely used for pressing ceramic wall and floor tiles, the four columns of its frame withstand the all work force when it works, so the columns are the key compartments of the frame, and its work performance has an important impact on the structural performance of the entire automatic hydraulic press. Took the column thread connection of 32.8MN automatic hydraulic press as research object, established axisymmetric finite element model and carried on contact finite element analysis for it by using the large commercial finite element software ANSYS to gain the stress distribution of the column’s thread connection. The results and discussion can provide reference for designing automatic hydraulic press columns. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i7.2847

Abstract

At present, multi-bar linkage mechanism is one of the most important directions of mechanical presses’ development. Utilizing the typical multi-linkage drawing mechanism of the plunger slide and compounding its parameters scientifically are a fairly effective way to realize the drawing technology demand. This paper established kinematics mode of the six-bar drawing mechanism by bar-group method, and produced simulated system by Visual Basic, which simulated the actual motion of the mechanism. With the objective function-velocity fluctuation in drawing and drawing depth, using chaos genetic algorithm method, carried out optimization design of the mechanism, and acquired several groups’ data. The optimization results showed that their performance in kinematics was improved greatly and had exceeded the original mechanism. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i7.2863

Abstract

The real world objects can be recognized by using marker based and marker-less augmented reality systems. Mostly, the previous developers used markers based augmented reality systems. However, those systems actually hide the reality and it was also difficult to keep the markers everywhere. Furthermore, the previous marker-less approaches use client-server architecture, which is drastically affected by network latency. Smartphone camera is matured enough that it can recognize real world objects without markers. It can guide users about their location and the direction in a convenient way. The use of Smartphone is best suited for outdoor mobile augmented-reality applications. Therefore, a marker-less natural features based tracking system in mobile augmented reality was formulated. In the adapted framework, the state-of-the-art algorithm (speed up robust features) was modified for computing image features from live mobile camera image and compares with locally stored images features for recognition. Moreover, the local static database of location tagged image features using SQLite was implemented to bypass the server. The proposed system was tested in a mobile AR-prototype application using iPhone called UNIMAS Guide. It was found from the results that the adapted marker-less system could recognize the real world objects in speedy, easy and convenient way. This technology can be applied in tourism industry, surgery and educational fields. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i7.2798

Abstract

There are a large number of sensors to detect information in mine environment system, which provides the original data for the prevention and treatment of mine accidents. According to data flow of data acquisition, data transmission, data storage and data processing, this paper used CC2530 to design the wireless sensor nodes, analyzed the Zigbee network topology and designed an optimized PEGASIS protocol. The multi-sensor data fusion method was applied to the multi-parameter and large-scale mine data, solved the nonlinear problems in the multi-feature selection and extraction and also improved the performance of mine monitoring system. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i7.2815

Abstract

With the advent of the information age, the network security is particularly important. The secure multiparty computation is a very important branch of cryptography. It is a hotspot in the field of information security. It expanded the scope of the traditional distributed computing and information security, provided a new computing model for the network collaborative computing. First we introduced several key technologies of secure multiparty computation: secret sharing and verifiable secret sharing, homomorphic public key cryptosystem, mix network, zero knowledge proof, oblivious transfer, millionaire protocol. Second we discussed the applications of secure multiparty computation in electronic voting, electronic auctions, threshold signature, database queries, data mining, mechanical engineering and other fields. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i7.2827

Abstract

The unique features of shape memory alloys (SMA), including pseudoelasticity and shape memory effect, give SMAs a wide application in aeronautical, biomedical, and structural engineering. These features stimulate the interest in the development of constitutive models.  In this paper, a 3D finite element model of shape memory alloy material model has been developed to incorporate the Drucker – Prager model in order to describe the asymmetry of SMA under tension and compression. This paper also takes into account the variation of Young’s modulus of the austenite and the martensite.  The development and implementation of a robust integration algorithm is presented. The provided numerical simulation demonstrates its capabilities. Further studies should be performed to seek quantitative fitting with experimental results. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i7.2841

Abstract

In order to solve the problem that taking network reconfiguration when the circuit is partial failure leads to a waste of computing resources and long repair time, the article proposes a way to limite the failure influence in a local scope through adaptively regulating the immune network . On the basis reviewing of immune network theory, a immune network structured representation method is raised. In order to make the immune network have fault tolerant ability, adaptively adjusting the structure of the immune network can dynamically chang the immune network function. Lastly, a partial failure recovery experiment of the motor control circuits is applied to test the performance of immune network adaptive regulation. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i7.2858
