Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the outage performance of multi-node relay network under equal power allocation (EPA) scheme. Due to the mobility of relay nodes, we proposed to design a method that considers random relay location based on random model. We conduct deep experiments which demonstrate that there exists optimal relay location to minimize the outage probability of multi-node relay networks. Finally, simulation results show that the outage performance of the multi-node relay network is closely related to the relay location. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i8.2742

Abstract

Under the rapid development of satellite communication systems and satellite navigation systems, there is an urgent need to combine the two together in order to achieve location-based services, etc. Despite the long relationship history of navigation and communication, the two satellite systems are basically independent of each other. As a result, terminal size tends to be relatively large, and difficult to be miniaturized. This article puts forward a novel idea that satellite navigation and satellite communication functions are integrated together in the signal level, and gives four types of the integrated navigation and communication signal structures which are composed of message, spreading code and carrier. It lays a technical foundation for the in-depth development of the integration of navigation and communication systems in signal level. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i8.3034

Abstract

The different three-phase circuit coordinate transformation matrixes are given in relevant literatures , which may cause some difficulties to understand and apply the coordinate transformation. The paper presents a general expression of the coordinate transformation matrixes in three-phase circuit and points out that the coordinate transformation matrixes having different specific expressions are due to existing the parameters which can be selected in the general expression. On this basis, the three often used expressions of coordinate transformation matrixes rotating at arbitrary speed are obtained through selecting these different parameters, which are Park transformation, orthogonal transformation and the coordinate transformation in the theory of instantaneous power. The paper further points out that, through particularly choosing coordinate rotation speed ,it can get commonly used special coordinate transformation matrixes between the three-phase stationary coordinate systems, and between the stationary coordinate system and synchronous rotating coordinate system by matrix general expression. The work of this paper shows that the three-phase circuit coordinate transformation matrixes are essentially uniformed, though their forms and practical applications are different, which is helpful to further understanding and correctly using the coordinate transformation theory of three-phase circuit. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i8.2268

Abstract

Mathematical logic is the logical basis of the modern computer. It is important for the development of the electronic computer. With the development of computer technology, especially the development of computer visualization technology, the two-dimensional objects, such as graph and table, are more and more frequently as the computer processing object. But, the traditional one-dimensional character grammar already can not process. Then graph grammars that based on the two-dimensional arise at the historic moment. In order to provide the visual logic reasoning mathematical foundation, this paper introduces the basic theory of graph grammars. Through the propositional calculus and propositional logic reasoning two aspects of graphical description, we use graph grammars to construct propositional calculus and propositional reasoning. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i8.3023

Abstract

Nowaday, the traditional circuit breaker is which action slow, poor reliability, can not meet Large grid interconnection and flexible AC transmission requirements. To address those shortcomings of traditional circuit breaker,an idear is put forward that traditional mechanical circuit breaker combinates of power electronic switch-IGCT to build a new type of hybrid circuit breaker device (Hybrid Circuit Breaker shorted at HCB). Basing on natural converter circuit principles, when grid line failure, the novel device adopts Elman neural network to detect short-circuit fault current, can disconnect quickly by IGCT’s rapidity to ensure the safety of the power grid and improve switching speed and service life of the mechanical switch. It has a very important significance in fast switching of power system. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i8.3130

Abstract

The design idea to implement multi-subdividing drive system for stepping motor based on Field-Programmable Gate Array chip was proposed in this paper. On a piece of EPF10K10LC84-15, the system module was accomplished using Very-High-Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description Language and graph editor. The simulation results were shown on the platform MAX+plusⅡ. This method could control the stepper motor subdivision without external digital to analog converter, which made the circuit structure be greatly simplified. And the experiment results proved that this method was also with high control precision and good effect, so it was much better than the Micro Control Unit control method. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i8.3047

Abstract

In order to solve the logic fault of Internet of things technology applied in the supply chain system, this paper presents processing framework which is based on the context of complex event processing technology. At first, paper analysis the hierarchy of processing framework oriented supply chain applications, and then put forward the situation model of event flow based on complex event, including the establishment of the model, the definition of the event as well as the event description language. The context-aware framework based on complex event processing technology can solve the problem that the underlying data cannot be used efficiently bythe upper, which is proved bya typical case existingin the supply chain. As a result, it can improve the reaction speed of the supply chain system, reduce supply chain inventory as well as bullwhip effect.  DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i8.3028

Abstract

To solve the problem of color distortion in the communication and reproduction process, the paper firstly analyzes the causes of the color distortion phenomenon. Then, the paper proposes the corresponding image color distortion detection algorithm based on the HSI color model. In the proposed method, the color image is transformed from RGB space to HSI space firstly; in HSI space, the reference image and the distortion image’s hue differences and saturation differences are calculated. Experimental results on LIVE images show that the measured results of the model with subjective scoring after the nonlinear fit the correlation coefficient up to 0.95.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i8.3080

Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the energy efficiency maximization problem of cognitive radio systems. We propose to study energy efficiency of cognitive relay transmission scheme based on cooperative spectrum sensing, since empirical studies have shown that optimal sensing time and transmit power are key factors for energy efficiency maximization. We design a method that simultaneously considers the parameters of spectrum sensing time and transmit power. Finally, we conduct deep experiments which show that our proposed approach can significantly improve the throughput and energy efficiency than the non-cooperative spectrum sensing method. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i8.2446

Abstract

Temperature measurement is an important link in industrial production, also an important part of modern testing technology. The traditional single bridge circuit is already unable to meet the requirements of modern precise temperature measurement system on temperature measurement. The relation between the output voltage of general Wheatstone bridge and real strain is nonlinear. The nonlinear error will be very serious if the variance ratio of resistance ΔR/ R is very large. Platinum resistance temperature sensor as temperature element may also cause nonlinear error. And measuring ranges small for bridge. This paper designs RC filter circuit and second-order band-pass filter circuit as the core of a new type of temperature measurement circuit ,introduces the principle of temperature measurement and the generation of signal source .Circuit cooperates with thermistor sensor, not only realizes the high precise temperature measurement, but also solves the measurement error of sensor produced from heating. Experiment checks that measuring precision can satisfy measurement requirements. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i8.3105
