Abstract

Electric locomotive is a kind of high power rectifier load, and its load characteristics will have a significant impact to safe, stable and economic operation of power system. This paper mainly analyses load characteristics of harmonic and reactive power for electric locomotive. Simulation model of electric locomotive is set up based on time trigger; it is so better conform to the dynamic characteristics of the electric locomotive. The mathematical model of SS8 electric locomotive is built, using MATLAB simulation software, dynamic simulation of electric locomotive is realized, and dynamic harmonic current and reactive power demand are obtained for traction supply network. The simulation results well reflect the operation situation of electric locomotive. It indicates that the research method of electric locomotive load characteristics is correct and effective. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4428

Abstract

Prediction models have some modeling conditions and application scope, we can use them to simulate or predict only when the models are satisfies those conditions. In this paper, we study the application scope of prediction model for interval grey number based on GM (1, 1) through the mathematical derivation. The reslt shown that when the parameters of prediction model for interval grey number satisfied  or ,prediction model for interval grey number is meaningless. The research achievements are of great significance in enrich the grey models and integrate the gray theory with practical issues. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4499

Abstract

In this work, we consider the problem of building an efficient data structure for range selection queries. While there are several theoretical solutions to the problem, only a few have been tried out, and there is little idea on how the others would perform. The computation model used in this paper is the RAM model with word-size $\Theta(\log n)$. Our data structure is a practical linear space data structure that supports range selection queries in $O(\log n)$ time with $O(n\log n)$ preprocessing time. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.3629

Abstract

Traditional DEA does not take into account the environmental variables when analysis the electrical energy efficiency. In order to weigh the objective and subjective factors’ impact on industrial electrical energy efficiency , this paper attempts to analyze the China's  2011 industrial electrical energy efficiency step by step using DEA optimization model. The results showed that, electrical energy efficiency value in considering the case of environmental factors was increased , effect of the external environment on electrical energy efficiency indeed have a significant impact, On these analysis, the paper proposed some feasible recommendations like increasing the scale of industrial energy utilization, eliminating monopolies as soon as possible, allocating the science and technology funding actively and feasibly DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4454

Abstract

In view of the nonlinear characteristics of chaotic signal, a threshold denoising method of noisy chaotic signal based on empirical mode decomposition (EMD) is presented. Firstly, noisy chaotic signal is decomposed into several intrinsic mode function (IMF) by empirical mode decomposition. Secondly, the intrinsic mode functions of high frequency are respectively processed using threshold method. Finally, we add these IMFs with IMFs of low frequency to achieve denoising signal. The noisy Lorenz chaotic signal is chosen to perform noise reduction. Taking the noisy Lorenz chaotic signal as an example, the proposed method is used. The simulation results show that this method is an efficient method. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4015

Abstract

In a cluster environment, the identification and the classification of the requested task is a prerequisite for choosing the appropriate load balancing algorithm and improving the processing capacity of the network. As the existing load balancing strategies cannot relate tasks and load balancing algorithm intelligently, this paper present an Agent-based dynamic adaptive load balancing model. Through the identification and classification of the requested task, the model selects corresponding load balancing algorithm to reach the load balancing in cluster. This model has a distinct advantage over other load balancing schedule strategies on response time. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4568

Abstract

According to the actual situation of the enterprise alliance of supply chain networks and considering the complexity of the various links in the supply chain of uncertain factors, it should be take a solution on decomposition strategy - coordination of the supply chain system optimization and focus on the supply cost analysis facility decision on supplier selection and cost, the two a problem of coordination through the integration of activity-based costing. Then establish the supply chain network design of robust model. Finally, using stochastic simulation method and the particle swarm algorithm based on hybrid intelligent algorithm for solving the robust optimal solutions of the model, and an example is used to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the model and algorithm. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4510

Abstract

The operational stability and continuity are key production characteristics of actual refinery processing units, which plays important role to safe and efficient production. While few literatures have given a sufficient and comprehensive expression of such characteristics. In view of the  problem, this paper discussed  refinery operations optimization based on operational stability and continuity. The production characteristics were described by logic proposition though logic rules and expert experiences, and the optimization problem of refinery operations was formulated as a logic programming model with object of maximizing production profit. Finally, the proposed model was used to optimize operations of a actual refinery. Numerical results illustrate the model’s feasibility and efficiency. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4494

Abstract

In order to control vehicle exhaust emission effectively, an OBD is developed based on Zigbee technology. Overall solution design of the system is proposed and the vehicle-mounted monitoring database is established. The wireless network communication hardware platform is set up by the MC9S08GT60 microcontroller and the MC13192 wireless module. The project document is produced with the help of BeeKit wireless connectivity toolkit. Under the CodeWarrior IDE development environment, the monitoring station coordinator networking program and the vehicle-mounted terminal device networking program are designed. Experimental results shows that this system complete data exchange between the monitoring station coordinator and the vehicle-mounted terminal device and transfer data into monitoring station computer. The wireless network of OBD is realized. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4687

Abstract

In order to improve the control effect of the main steam temperature with large time delay , this paper proposed a delay separated neural network inverse (DSNNI) control scheme. We got the delay time and the positive model without delay by using adaptive linear element and BP network. Then we made the neural network inverse model of the positive model without delay. An appropriate reference model was selected to make the inverse model’s output smoothing. It is an open-loop control system when the model is cascaded into original system. It will avoid the instability caused by the closed-loop control systems. Off-line identification and on-line identification are combined to get the inverse model in order to reduce the steady-state error and make the system have fine adaptive capacity. Detail simulation tests are carried out on the given 300MW power unit. Tests show that the neural network inverse control with delay time separation can get rapid and smooth output for the main steam temperature system. It is able to overcome the adverse effects caused by the time delay and the parameters changes. Compared with the cascade PID controller, it has faster response, better robustness and anti-interference performance. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4674
