Abstract

An increasing pace of researches on high- resolution remote sensing images leads to demand for heavy load and easy access data processing, even though there are many traditional standalone platforms for remote sensing image processing. In this paper, some online image analysis and processing tools will be designed and developed into a web-based image processing toolkit, based on using standard web services. And the user requests are through web front-end plug-in, so that the processing toolkit can be integrated into other web applications rather than the prototype system. The functions in the toolkit include online projection transformation, basic statistics and histogram analysis, change detection, cluster analysis; and regression analysis. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4469

Abstract

In imperfect information problems, board game is a class of special problem that differs from card games like poker. Several characters make it a valuable test bed for opponent modeling, which is one of the most difficult problems in artificial intelligence decision systems. In card games, opponent modeling has proved its importance on improving agents’ strength. In this paper, a method of building opponent models in imperfect information board games is introduced systematically. Formalized evaluation method of arrangement strength in board game in proposed. Risk dominance is suggest as the classified criterion of building opponent models and basing that, classified primary probability tables are built as opponent models. Last, Siguo game is chosen as the application for opponent modeling and shows its advantages in the experiments. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4113

Abstract

As Cloud Computing becomes prevalent, more and more sensitive information are centralized into the cloud.  In this paper, for the first time we formalize and solve the problem of efficient conjunctive fuzzy keyword search over encrypted cloud data while maintaining keyword privacy. Conjunctive fuzzy keyword search greatly enhances system usability by returning the matching files when users' searching inputs exactly match the predefined keywords or the closest possible matching files based on keyword similarity semantics, when exact match fails. In our solution, we exploit edit distance to quantify keywords similarity. Through rigorous security analysis, we show that our proposed solution is privacy-preserving. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4357

Abstract

In order to improve the accuracy of price forecasting by Web extracting, a novel efficient improved Adaptive Sliding Window (ASW) that the coefficients of the window width can be auto adjusts is proposed in this paper. Agricultural products price based on ASW is utilized to verify validity of adaptive Back Propagation (BP) neural network and adaptive Radial Basis Function (RBF) neural network model respectively. Experiments demonstrated that the Mean Absolute Error (MAE) on ASW model can be getting 99.62 percent accuracy rate. Experiment results proved that the proposed ASW model and adaptive BP neural network model are meaningful and useful to analyze and to research products market, but the proposed ASW model is the best one because of its speed is the fast one which can save time 80 percent than the adaptive BP neural network. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4490

Abstract

This paper studies the problem of allocating buffers in stochastic production flow lines with product travel time. We build a model that decomposes the production line into the S-B-S (Station-Buffer-Station) subsystems, and use queueing theory to aggregate the subsystems. Experiments are designed for both balanced and unbalanced production lines, and with the computational results, some general rules for the buffer allocation problem are proposed. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4520

Abstract

Fault recovery of distribution network is realized by operating switches to change topological structure of the network. The final destination of fault recovery is power loss minimization, fault isolation and power load transfer. This article has built the mathematical model of fault recovery considering constraints of node voltage, line capacity and power flow balance. The objective function is power loss reduction. Further, the genetic algorithm is used to solve the proposed model. The optimal network structure and recovered power load could be derived through calculation. Finally, the author complied the program with Matlab and tested it on the IEEE33 bus system. The simulation and analysis results have verified the effectiveness of the proposed method. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4567

Abstract

Aiming at the problem of current analysis and detection techniques against Cisco IOS security are not suitable for IOS integrality attack, this paper focuses on the Cisco IOS security detection techniques based on Control Flow Graph. First, the constructing method of Control Flow Graph is introduced. Then, a method to extract non-executed malicious code is proposed, which improves the effectiveness and accuracy of the analysis of malicious code. It provides support for rapid and effective detection of IOS integrality attack. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4561

Abstract

For the problem of long video transmission delay and low nerwork efficiency caused by high energy consumption, A DP-MDP (Dynamic Programming & Markov Decision Processes) video transmission scheme is proposed. The scheme take advantage of that the user instant request is independent to the past states and combine the DP algorithm with MDP to resolve related problem of the user request process, so it can significantly reduce the server and backbone network transmission loss of hot video, then improve the network efficiency. The theoretical analysis and derivation based an DP algorithm are conducted to the entire transmission process, then we establish the analytical expression based on DP algorithm. The simulation results show that compare to conventional video transmission, the video transmission program based on the DP-MDP can effectively save total energy and reduce the system transmission delay.DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4138

Abstract

In this paper, we consider a kind of three-dimensional biological model of food system including Panda, bamboo and arbor with delays. The stabilities of positive equilibrium points are considered. Some theories of the existence of positive periodic solutions via Hopf bifurcation with respect to both delays are established. The paper ends with some numerical simulations. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4672

Abstract

New GNSS signal systems (MBOC/AltBOC) are different from traditional one (BPSK). Acquisition method of new signal systems need to be studied to adapt the new modulation scheme. On the other hand, there are more acquisition cells and long stop time on each cell because of the features of the new GNSS signal systems. So the average acquisition time of the new signals increase much longer than the former one. The new signal features was analyzed at first in this paper, and then the acquisition algorithm of QPSK and MBOC modulated signals was introduced separately. At last, a Multiplexing Channel of Time-Division technique and Multi-frequency aid algorithm was proposed to increase the acquisition speed. This new fast acquisition algorithm significantly reduced the average acquisition time of the new GNSS signal systems. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i3.4485
