Abstract

Soft subspace clustering are effective clustering techniques for high dimensional datasets. In this work, a novel soft subspace clustering algorithm RSSKM are proposed. It is based on the incorporation of the alternative distance metric into the framework of k-means type algorithm for soft subspace clustering and can automatically calculates the feature weights of each cluster in the clustering process. The properties of RSSKM are also investigated. Experiments on real world text datasets are conducted and the results show that RSSKM outperformed some popular clustering algorithms for text mining, while still maintaining efficiency of the k-means clustering process.

Abstract

With the rapid advance of society, especially the development of computer technology, network technology and information technology, there is an increasing demand for systems that can provide secure data storage in a cost-effective manner. In this paper, we propose a prototype file system called EDFS (Encryption and De-duplication File System), which provides both data security and space efficiency in storage systems. We adopt de-duplication technology called CDC (Content-Defined Chunking) to chunk the file and compute its unique fingerprint, lookup different blocks, then store different blocks on server to ensure storage efficiency. Thinking of security, we use convergent encryption to encrypt data blocks, which not only ensure data security but also improve the possibility of de-duplication. Finally, we describe a prototype implementation of EDFS based on FUSE [1] and present an analysis of the potential effectiveness, using real data obtained from a runtime database.

Abstract

MPPT control algorithm and lossless inverter can be improving the efficiency of photovoltaic system. Amount of solar radiation exposed on the panel is affected by buildings and tree shadows. Such partially shaded cells lead to the existence of multiple mpps and the problem can be regarded as an optimization problem. The control algorithm named seeker optimization algorithm (soa) is implemented in this paper to find the global mpp instead local maxima obtained in case of conventional perturbation and observation (p&o) method, incremental conductance and other solution methodologies. Switching losses are minimized by single stage inverter configuration. The proposed system output voltage is a rectified sine wave. Simulation model is developed in psim that couples soa algorithm coded in matlab. Finally it will improve the overall efficiency and reduce the switching losses of the solar photovoltaic system.

Abstract

Traditional control algorithms in Automatic Train Operation (ATO) system have some drawbacks, such as high energy consumption and low riding comfort. Combined with data mining methods and driving experience, two Intelligent Train Operation (ITO) models for the subway train control are proposed. Firstly the training data set was sorted out and sieved out from the real train operation data set by drivers in Beijing subway line Yizhuang to establish the standard database. By using Classification and Regression Trees (CART) algorithm and Bagging ensemble learning method which base on CART algorithm, two ITO models are dug out to represent the output of controller with limited speed, running time and gradient. In the train control simulation platform, ITO models were compared with the traditional PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) control algorithm of ATO systems. The simulation results indicate the proposed ITO models are better than PID control in energy consumption, riding comfort and switching times of controller’s output. Furthermore, the ITO model with bagging ensemble learning method is better especially in energy consumption and riding comfort.

Abstract

Traditional iris recognition method has low speed and searching rate in large-scale unstructured database. Three different quantum algorithms are proposed in iris recognition. Quantum filtering algorithm can get a better filtering result than classical algorithm in iris filtering process. Quantum Fourier transforms exhibits an exponential speed-up compared with discrete Fourier transform in feature extraction. Improved Grover algorithm can reduce the matching time in the step of iris matching. The experiment results show that matching numbers and matching time reduce greatly.

Abstract

In order to solve the poor robustness problem due to partial occlusionof target, we propose an adaptive particle filter tracking method based on thefusion of the multiple features. First, we regard information fusion as aprocess of information loss, loss coefficient is defined based on this idea. Then the credibility of feature can be obtained by weighted distance and themean of particle filter, and we use the features’ credibility to reallocate theloss coefficient. An extensive number of comparative experiments show theproposed algorithm is more stable and robust than multiplicative fusion andadditive fusion tracking algorithms.

Abstract

Vector space model (VSM) is a common method for measuring test questions similarity in large-scale item bank system. VSM is limited in accurately representing the knowledge relationship and the potential semantic relations of different characteristic words, hence this paper proposes a method of test questions similarity measure called OVSM-TQSM which combines domain ontology and VSM. OVSM-TQSM can reveal the intrinsic relationship among words by using the constructed domain ontology which integrates with the tree structure and the graphics structure. Incorporated with eigenvectors and the weight of words in VSM, OVSM-TQSM calculates the similarity of test questions. A large number of experimental results demonstrate that the novel approach is feasible and effective. Comparing with the traditional method based on VSM, OVSM-TQSM has the advantages of higher accuracy and little unnecessary laborious pre-processing.

Abstract

Signcryption is a cryptographic primitive which could provide authentication and confidentiality simultaneously with a computational cost lower than signing and encryption respectively, while the ring signcryption has anonymity in addition to authentication and confidentiality. In order to design an identity-based threshold ring signcryption, this paper presented an efficient identity-based threshold ring signcryption scheme without random oracles by means of secret sharing and bilinear pairing technique, and gave security analysis of the scheme. In the last, we proved this scheme satisfied indistinguishability against adaptive chosen ciphertext attacks and existential unforgeability against adaptive chosen message and identity attacks in terms of the hardness of DBDH problem and CDH problem.

Abstract

It is an important part to select the regulation mode in the design and manufacture of a controllable reactor of transformer type(CRT).Based on the circuit equations expressed by the self and mutual inductance, the piecewise expressions of the instantaneous current in work winding in the single-winding regulation mode are obtained, and then the formula for calculating the RMS of each harmonic current in work winding is derived by Fourier series decomposition. At last, the control characteristics of CRT and the curves of the RMS of harnonic currents with reference to the output power in three typical single-winding regulation modes are presented and their advantages and disadvantages are compared in the sample, which provides a reference for the design of CRT.

Abstract

The traditional regenerative braking control strategies for hybrid electric vehicle just only considers to ensure motor to work along with the battery/motor joint optimal efficiency curve, but not consider CVT efficiency, yet in fact that the CVT efficiency varies with the operating condition between 70% and 95% variation and can not be neglected. Based on the analysis of the relationship among the synthesis efficiency and the efficiency of the NiMH battery, ISG motor and CVT, the battery/motor/CVT joint high efficiency are calculated, then the joint high efficiency optimum working curve is drawn, finally the regenerative braking control strategy adopted with the joint high efficiency optimum working curve is proposed. Compared to the offline simulation and HIL test results adopted with the battery/motor joint high efficiency optimum working curve, the motor average generating efficiency increases by 2.23%, braking energy recovery rate increases by 4.09% through offline simulation, and the average generating efficiency increases by 1.13% through HILS test. Both results show that the proposed regenerative braking control strategy can realize the battery, motor and CVT to work with joint high efficiency which fatherly enhances braking energy recovery rate under guaranteeing entire vehicle braking security condition.
