As a result of numerous applications and low installation costs, wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have expanded excessively. The main concern in the WSN environment is to lower energy consumption amidst nodes while preserving an acceptable level of service quality. Using multi-mobile sinks to reduce the nodes' energy consumption have been considered as an efficient strategy. In such networks, the dynamic network topology created by the sinks mobility makes it a challenging task to deliver the data to the sinks. Thus, in order to provide efficient data dissemination, the sensor nodes will have to readjust the routes to the current position of the mobile sinks. The route re-adjustment process could result in a significant maximization in the communication cost, which boosts the total energy depletion. This paper proposes a lightweight routes re-adjustment strategy for mobile sink wireless sensor networks (LRAS-MS) aimed at minimizing communication cost and energy consumption by reducing route re-adjustment in a cluster-based WSN environment. The simulation results show a significant reduction in communication costs and extending the network lifetime while maintaining comparable low data delivery delay.

Over the last decade, many nature-inspired algorithms have been received considerable attention among practitioners and researchers to handle several optimization problems. Lion optimization algorithm (LA) is inspired by a distinctive lifestyle of lions and their collective behavior in their social groups. LA has been presented as a powerful optimization algorithm to solve various optimization problems. In this paper, the LA is proposed to investigate its performance in solving one of the most popular and widespread real-life optimization problems called team orienteering problem with time windows (TOPTW). However, as any population-based metaheuristic, the LA is very efficient in exploring the search space, but inefficient in exploiting it. So, this paper proposes enhancing LA to tackle the TOPTW by utilizing its strong ability to explore the search space and improving its exploitation ability. This enhancement is achieved via improving a process of territorial defense to generate a trespass strong nomadic lion to prevail a pride by fighting its males. As a result of this improving process, an enhanced LA (ILA) emerged. The obtained solutions have been compared with the best known and standard results obtained in the former studies. The conducted experimental test verifies the effectiveness of the ILA in solving the TOPTW as it obtained a very competitive results compared to the LA and the state-of-the-art methods across all tested instances.

The researchers have been exploring methods to use biometric characteristics of the user as a replacement for using unforgettable pass-word, in an attempt to build robust cryptographic keys, because, human users detect difficulties to call up long cryptographic keys. Biometric recognition provides an authentic solution to the authentication of the user problem in the identity administration systems. With the extensive utilization of biometric methods in different applications, there is growing concern about the confidentiality and security of the biometric technologies. This paper proposes biometric based key recreation scheme. Since human ears are not correlated. Until now, the encryption keys are generated using a swarm intelligence approach. Collective intelligence of simple groups of autonomous agents have been emerged by swarm intelligence. The crow search algorithm which is known as (CSA) is a new meta-intuitive method assembled by the intelligent group behavior of crows. Despite that CSA demonstrates important features, its search approach poses excessive challenges while faced with great multimodal formularization.

The search of FLC_PID controller for TCP/AQM Wireless Networks, to deal with congestion for Internet users and to get good performance and capabilities of TCP / IP networks. Neglect of controlling the network delay and the number of continuous users that leads to a problem in the transmission process. Recently, automatic control units are adapted to solve this problem with the difficulty of controlling congestion in the presence of wireless links. This modest research presents one of the traditional PID controller methods with fuzzy logic so that wireless networks and congestion can be controlled by various configurations. The proposed methods were simulated with the required comparisons in the adoption of nonlinear systems to determine the best performance and it was found that the use of the Fuzzy logic control can achieve the best performance (reducing the delay time of delivering packets and packets loss). The simulation of the current work shows through its results the possibility of controlling the behavior of the system and through testing the balance when changed with time delay through the impact of communication time and its relationship with the stability of the work of the system.

Malaysia is rapidly expanding the generation capacity of solar power through large scale solar (LSS) projects with the aim to achieve 20% renewable energy mix by 2025. This has motivated many solar industry players to explore the usage of solar PV with single axis tracker (SAT) system. However, many are still hesitant due to the lack of understanding on the comparative performance between fixed mounted solar PV with solar PV with SAT system. This paper aims to provide a comparative analysis on the performance of both systems. Simulation using PVSyst 6.83 was performed in five potential LSS sites spread across Peninsular Malaysia in Perlis, Kelantan, Pahang, Selangor and Johor with the same installed capacity of 10.32MWp. The energy yield and capacity factor for 21 years were simulated. On the average, it was found that SAT outperforms fixed mounted solar PV system by 15.08% based on their performance on their first year operation.

Animation and virtual reality movie-making technologies are still witnessing significant progress to this day. Building and stimulating virtual characters inside these applications is a goal. Build a 3D face via using some special tools inside the virtual world is the most important part of identifying a 3D animation. Keen Tools Face Builder add-on for Blender. Interested in creating a 3D face of a famous figure, artist or the general public by adopting several 2D images added to the virtual blinder software environment. The main problem facing these tools is that they deal with high-resolution and sharpness pictures because some images that contain blurring, the result is to build a 3D face model that contains design distortions and non- clearly. in this proposed paper, build a data set for 2D pictures of a specific character (actor), at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. These images were caught by the camera, different in sharpness and blurring (four types of blurry). Using the “Laplacian Filter algorithm” and OpenCV library with Python language, to isolate blurry from sharpness 2D images. Sharpness images used to build a 3D face model that gave real and similar results to the character in the pictures.

The Power quality of the electrical system is an important issue for industrial, commercial, and housing uses. An increasing request for high quality electrical power and an increasing number of distorting loads had led to increase the consideration of power quality by customers and utilities. The development and use of flexible alternating current transmission system (FACTs) controllers in power transmission systems had led to many applications of these controllers. A unified power flow controller (UPFC) is one of the FACTs elements which is used to control both active and reactive power flow of the transmission line. This paper tried to improve power quality using a fuzzy logic controller (FLC) based UPFC, where it used to control both active and reactive power flow, decreas the total harmonic distortion (THD), correct power factor, regulate line voltage and enhance transient stability. A comparison study of the performance between the system with a conventional PID controller and FLC has been done. The theoretical analysis has been proved by implementing the system using MATLAB/SIMULINK package. The Power quality of the electrical system is an important issue for industrial, commercial, and housing uses. The arabic sign language (ArSL) is the natural language of the deaf community in Arabic countries. ArSL suffers from a lack of resources such as unified dictionaries and corpora. In this work, a dictionary of Arabic language to ArSL has been constructed as a part of a translation system. The Arabic words are converted into hamburg notation system (HamNoSys) using eSign editor Software. HamNoSys was used to create manual parameters (handshape, hand orientation, hand location, and hand movement), while non-manual parameters (facial expressions, shoulder raising, mouthing gesture, head tilting, and body movement) added by using (mouth, face, and limbs) in the eSign editor software. The sign then converted to the sign gesture markup language (SiGML) file, and later 3D avatar interprets the SiGML file scripts to the animated sign. The constructed dictionary has three thousand signs; therefore, it can be adopted for the translation system in which written text can be transformed into sign language and can be utilized for the education of deaf people. The dictionary will be available as a free resource for researchers. It is hard and time-consuming work, but it is an essential step in machine translation of whole Arabic text to ArSL with 3D animations.

In this research, the effects of magnetic field intensity on electrical characteristics of a monocrystalline silicon solar cell were investigated. The experimental test-rig under Standard Test Condition was set up and tested to observe the respective effects. The electrical characteristics in terms of current-voltage-power curves, critical solar cell parameters and fill factor were then examined and analyzed. The outcome of this study demonstrates that the external magnetic field has a positive impact on electrical parameters, the experimental results showed that applying magnetic intensity of 60-260mT significantly affected the electrical characteristics of the cell; i.e., maximized cell current, voltage and power by 12.20, 7.12 and 23.60%, respectively. In addition, this positive impact consequencely happened on the i-v and p-v electrical characteristics curves of the solar cell; reflected by 3.69% increasing in the fill factor.
