The massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology has been applied innew generation wireless systems due to growing demand for reliability and high datarate. Hybrid beamforming architectures in both receiver and transmitter, includinganalog and digital precoders, play a significant role in 5G communication networksand have recently attracted a lot of attention. In this paper, we propose a simple andeffective beamforming precoder approach for mmWave massive MIMO systems. Wefirst solve an optimization problem by a simplification subject, and in the second step,we use the covariance channel matrixfCk=Cov(Hk)andBk=HkHHkinstead of chan-nel matrixHk. Simulation results verify that the proposed scheme can enjoy a highersum rate and energy efficiency than previous methods such as spatially sparse method, analog method, and conventional hybrid method even with inaccurate Channel StateInformation (CSI). Percentage difference of the achievable rate ofCk=Cov(Hk)andBk=HkHHkschemes compared to conventional methods are 2.51% and 48.94%, re-spectively.

Blood donation is the main source of blood resources in the blood banks which is required in the hospitals for everyday operations and blood compensation for the patients. In special cases, the patients require fresh blood for compensation such as in the case of major operations and similar situations. Moreover, plasma transfusions are vital in the current pandemic of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). In this paper, we have proposed a donation system that manages the appointments between the donors and the patient in the case of fresh blood donation is required. The website is designed using the Bootstrap technology to provide suitable access using the PC or the smart phones web browser. The website contains large database including information about the donors and their blood group, available time, and other personal information to facilitate the donation process. This system is designed with unlimited abilities to be used by any hospital, blood bank, or individuals to manage the donation process with no constrains.

In this paper, an analysis is performed for the spatial characteristics of the contours of aerial images that are homogeneous in brightness to determine the parameters that make it possible to identify anthropogenic objects with a higher probability. A complex criterion is proposed for the regions, which homogenous in brightness and an algorithm for detecting anthropogenic objects, which takes into account its area, the ratio of the total length of long contour fragments to the total length of the contour, the concentration of corners and endpoints of the contour. Also, when deciding on anthropogenicity, the particular characteristics of the contour of a homogeneous segment are used, depending on the number of long fragments of the contour. Using the proposed criterion, an algorithm of searching anthropogenic objects based on the analysis of contour elements (its shape, size and concentration) is developed. The proposed algorithm allows reducing the probability of skipping the anthropogenic object in comparison with the spatial anomaly search algorithm.

In this paper, a similarity finite difference (SFD) solution is addressed for thetwo-dimensional (2D) parabolic partial differential equation (PDE), specifically on the unsteady convection-diffusion problem. Structuring the similarity transformation using wave variables, we reduce the parabolic PDE into elliptic PDE. The numerical solution of the corresponding similarity equation is obtained using a second-order central SFD discretization schemeto get the second-order SFD approximation equation. We propose a four-point similarity explicit group (4-point SEG) iterative methodasa numericalsolution of the large-scale and sparse linear systems derived from SFD discretization of 2D unsteady convection-diffusion equation (CDE). To showthe 4-point SEG iteration efficiency, two iterative methods, such as Jacobiand Gauss-Seidel (GS) iterations, are also considered. The numerical experiments are carried out using three different problems to illustrate our proposed iterative method's performance. Finally, the numerical results showed that our proposed iterative method is more efficient than the Jacobiand GS iterations in terms of iteration number and execution time.

This work proposes a new piezoelectric transducer system with four freedoms of movement modelled and evaluated by mechatronic techniques. The proposed modelling techniques (finite element and bond graph) were performed in a 20-Sim framework attached to the ANSYS software. The established harvester system has the ability to increase the driver's comfort when travelling on several types of road surfaces. The piezoelectric harvester is designed to investigate and provide the health requirement and ride comfort of the vehicle's drives on random road surfaces. The simulation results affirm that the improved piezoelectric transducer arrangement is more productive for various aspects. The power recovery is significantly enhanced as well as the driving comfort on the three road categories. Finally, the harvestable power amount is highlighted and is graphically discussed for several specific applications.

Skin diseases have a serious impact on human life and health. This article aims to represent the classification accuracy of skin diseases for supporting the physicians’ correct decision on patients for early treatment. In particular, 100 images in each type of five skin diseases from ISIC database are used for balanced datasets related to the classification accuracy. In addition, this paper focuses on processing images for extracting six optimal types of eleven features of skin disease image for higher classification performance and also this takes less time for training. Therefore, skin disease images are filtered and segmented for separating region of interests (ROIs) before extracting optimal features. First, the skin disease images are processed by normalizing sizes, removing noises, segmenting to separate region of interests (ROIs) showing skin disease signs. Next, a gray-level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM) method is applied for texture analysis to extract eleven features. With the optimal six features chosen, the high classification accuracy of skin diseases is about 92% evaluated using a matrix confusion. The result showed to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Furthermore, this method can be developed for other medical datasets for supporting in disease diagnosis.

Feature selection is a process of identifying relevant feature subset that leads to the machine learning algorithm in a well-defined manner. In this paper, anovel ensemble feature selection approach that comprises of Relief Attribute Evaluation and hybrid kernel-based support vector machine (HK-SVM) approach is proposed as a feature selection method for network intrusion detection system (NIDS). A Hybrid approach along with the combination of Gaussian and Polynomial methods is used as a kernel for support vector machine (SVM). The key issue is to select a feature subset that yields good accuracy at a minimal computational cost. The proposed approach is implemented and compared with classical SVM and simple kernel. Kyoto2006+, a bench mark intrusion detection dataset,is used for experimental evaluation and then observations are drawn.

OWC systems have turned into a state-of-the-art technology because of their superior performance uniqueness and its innumerable characteristic as compared to its RF. One of the OWC application is inter-satellite wireless optical communication (Is-WOC), this framework can be improved by using different ways such as advanced modulation formats and aperture diameter. We demonstrate an analysis based on the aperture diameter effect in transmission of single channel with 40 Gb/s Is-WOC system using three different modulation methods, differential phase-shift keying (DPSK) with a duty ratio to 66% and 33% and duobinary. Choosing these three modulations from various modulation format is done depending on the advantage they provide where the DPSK gives to fiber nonlinearity a powerful robustness and less susceptible to SPM and XPM and for system requirements of dispersion compensation in duobinary, it provides higher chromatic dispersion tolerance mitigate. The result shows the effect of different transmitter aperture diameter (from 2 to 20 cm) for a constant distance 200 km accomplished by quality factor and minimum BER. We conclude there is a great loss in the small aperture diameter, even in the presence of best modulation format, therefore as the aperture diameter increase the Q-factor increase, but some increased rise is linear and the other is changing from linear to non-linear in a fixed Q-factor point equal to 5.63.
