Abstract

Over recent years, drones are increasingly being used not only for military tasks only, but also for civilian tasks too, such as environment and traffic monitoring, delivery services, and aerial surveys. Unfortunately, as they become more popular and in demand, they become more vulnerable to a variety of security threats. To combat such attacks and security threats, a proper design of a robust security and authentication system based on and stream cipher lightweight salsa20 algorithm with chaotic maps to cipher payload data to improve security network transfer of radio technical commission for maritime services (RTCM) messages over (NTRIP) communication protocol. By using a proposed key generation method which is based on a 1d logistic map to produce a flight session key for a drone with a flight plan, and then records the flight session key and the drone's flight plan in a central database that can be accessed. The proposed system is superior to other similar systems in terms of security and performance, according to the review.

Abstract

An automated vehicle license plate recognition system using image processing techniques identifies vehicle numbers without human interference. This system has significant impact because of its good application in various fields like car parking, access control, speed control, automatic toll collection, border security, traffic violence detection and surveillance applications. This paper presents a methodology that is quite simple but at the same time very much efficient and this system consists of four sequential modules which are preprocessing, number plate extraction, number plate character segmentation and character recognition. Preprocessing aims to improve the image quality that is captured in various illumination conditions and stick out outstanding information that we need, which is favorable to subsequent processing including extraction, segmentation and recognition. After preprocessing various morphological operations are applied to extract the desired license plate region. Then for segmentation the bounding box method is applied that segments each letter and number present on the license plate region. Finally, template matching is applied in identifying all segmented characters present in the license plate image. The experimental results showed that the proposed system can recognize license plate characters efficiently with higher accuracy. Using MATLAB software, the proposed method attains recognition accuracy of 94.17%.

Abstract

Generally, in traditional transportation problems, single items are transported from a set of origins to a set of destinations in such a way that the transportation cost is minimized. To face the challenges that arise in modelling transportation problem various parameters are to be considered. In this work to provide an optimal transportation policy to the decision maker, we have studied a fixed-charge bi-objective multi-product 4-dimensional transportation problem with vehicle speed under budget constraints under uncertain environment. The objective of the proposed model is to have the maximum profit with the minimum time taken of transporting the goods. An equivalent deterministic model of the proposed model is obtained to deal the uncertain variable using expected value-chance constraint properties on uncertainty theory and its compromise solution is obtained by using the goal programming technique. A numerical example is discussed to provide more clarity on the proposed model.

Abstract

Due to their unique qualities, including data integrity, security, decentralization, and dependability, blockchain technologies have drawn a lot of interest from both academia and business. In order to effectively handle the adoption problems of blockchain technologies, it is important to identify what influences their use and adoption. In order to protect the exam sheet (as image format) for the baccalaureate examination in Iraq. This paper article sought to construct a private blockcahin powered by a variety of algorithms, After that, with this concern about privacy and fear of private information leaking, and in order to ensure that that image will only be seen by the specific person you want, the technology is full of many encryption features that achieve this end, we encrypt the image before sending it as a transaction in the Blockchain network. Also, we obtained speed smart contact verifications compared with traditional systems due to the proposed system is private and has simple complexity.
