Abstract

Many manufacturing workers spend most of their time in workshops, and the work environment significantly impacts factory employees & productivity. Prior research on performance has predominantly focused on occupational roles, and little is known about the antecedent in this field. This study examines the connection between intrinsic motivation, work ethics, and performance. The respondents to this study were manufacturing employees. It is important to research the manufacturing sector because it is a major cause of environmental damage. This is shown by the sector's increasing environmental impact, which is attracting international attention. The manufacturing industry is characterized by a high level of occupational risk. To determine whether intrinsic motivation directly affects work performance. The manufacturing sector has been a pivotal contributor to the growth and prosperity of developing countries, including Indonesia. A total of 120 questionnaires were collected from 178 participants in West Java, Indonesia. SMART PLS was used for measurement and structural equation modeling, with data investigated using SEM. The results of this study indicate that intrinsic motivation only influences work performance when mediated by work ethics. Aside from this, the relationship between intrinsic motivation and work ethics demonstrates a direct influence, and work ethics directly influence work performance. It is noteworthy that intrinsic motivation has no discernible impact on the performance of manufacturing sector workers. The findings offer firms seeking to enhance employee performance and advance sustainable human resources practices in the manufacturing sector a set of actionable insights

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of internal control systems (ICS) on organizational effectiveness at PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, focusing on the goal attainment approach in the field of airport services. This research is motivated by the inconsistency between the increase in the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) score from ACI World and the number of complaints received by the company. The COSO internal control framework is used as a theoretical foundation to evaluate the implementation of ICS in the company. The empirical analysis results show that the simultaneous implementation of ICS has a significant effect on organizational effectiveness. Specifically, the control environment, information and communication, and monitoring have been proven to have a significant impact on organizational effectiveness, while risk assessment and control activities do not show a significant impact. This study recommends that PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia update its company regulations related to ICS by adopting the latest COSO framework, as well as developing guidelines for internal auditors to evaluate the implementation of ICS effectively. The implication of this research is the importance of focusing on developing ICS elements that have been proven effective in improving organizational effectiveness

Abstract

One of the obstacles often faced when carrying out aircraft maintenance activities is the unavailability of lubricating oil that meets the established quality standards due to delays in the supply of lubricating oil from suppliers. In order for maintenance activities to be carried out according to the specified schedule, continuous availability of lubricating oil from suppliers is needed. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the selection of reliable or trustworthy lubricating oil suppliers in supplying lubricating oil needs that meet the established quality standards. In selecting a lubricating oil supplier, the ELECTRE and TOPSIS methods are combined, where the ELECTRE method is used to process the weight of each supplier criterion and the TOPSIS method is used to rank alternative solutions obtained from the ELECTRE method classification. It is hoped that by combining these methods, recommendations for reliable suppliers can be provided. The suppliers selected as partners for providing lubricating oil are supplier C with an A* value of 3.090 and supplier B with an A* value of 2.973. The selection of suppliers is based on supplier performance with 6 criteria, namely the quality of lubricating oil, the price of lubricating oil, the responsiveness of the supplier's service and response, the speed of delivery to partner expeditions and the policy of replacing damaged or leaking lubricating oil

Abstract

Economic development aims to improve the welfare of the community, however, this process often has a negative impact on the environment. This research is a Quantitative research with a descriptive approach. In addition, this research also uses quantitative research methods and uses comparative analysis methods. West Sumatra's Environmental Quality Index (IKLH) from 2020 to 2024 is higher than the National IKLH. This indicates that West Sumatra's environmental quality is better than the national average. When Economic Growth decreases, the value of IKLH also decreases. However, per capita income during the study period experienced an increasing trend, but the quality of the environment in 2024 decreased. It can be concluded that sustainable economic development with environmental quality in West Sumatra shows complex dynamics.
