Abstract

The number of residents in a sub-district greatly influences the the welfare of the community in the sub-district. But to determine the population each year in the Subdistrict requires a considerable amount of time and with a relatively simple method. Therefore we need a study to predict the number of population in the coming year, the algorithm used is the Backpropagation algorithm, this algorithm aims to make a prediction process for the population in Pematang Bandar Subdistrict, North Sumatra. Based on the data obtained, the population in Pematang Bandar District has increased. This study uses 5 architectural models, namely 3-2-1, 3-4-1, 3-5-1, 3-6-1, 3-9-1. Of the five architectural models used, one of the best 3-4-1 architectural models was obtained with accuracy of 92.3%, epoch 796 iterations in 10 seconds and MSE 0,000930636. It is expected that the results of this study can contribute to the District in improving all aspects of community welfare in the future.

Abstract

Quality of service is the goal of the company in providing satisfaction to consumers both service and non-service companies. One of the internet access service provider companies that is committed to improving service quality to customer satisfaction is Hinet Batam. This study aims to analyze the quality of service to Hinet Batam consumer satisfaction using the C4.5 algorithm. Valuation variables include empathy, responsiveness, reliability with satisfied and dissatisfied decisions. The results of processing the Data Mining method using the C4.5 algorithm were able to classify the level of customer satisfaction with service quality. With a satisfied predictive precision value of 61.7% and an unsatisfied predictive precision value of 38.3%. The results of this study can be used as a reference to improve service quality and to maintain customer loyalty in using internet service data package products and increase sales.

Abstract

Bad governance or poor governance by some economic actors is one of the causes of the economic crisis in Indonesia. So that the emergence of public mistrust of government performance. To restore public confidence to the government, good governance is needed, one of which is the application of e-government. E-government is a form of information and communication technology by the government which can provide information and services to the public, business affairs, and matters relating to government. One of the results of the development of e-government is e-Village Budgeting. E-village budgeting is an online-based village budget management application in order to increase transparency and accountability of the village budget. One of the problems that often arises in the administration of village governance is related to the administrative system of village financial management that is not orderly, so that not a few that cause problems of irregularities in the use of the budget. This research will be designed a web-based application that can help make financial reporting easier. The application was made so that budgeting and development monitoring in remote villages are more transparent.

Abstract

This Decision Support System is to make it easier for each student to choose an organization that is in accordance with the wishes of each student, so that students will not regret later when they have joined as members or administrators of the organization itself. The organization is a group of people who work together for a common goal and can also be a forum for people to gather and work together rationally and systematically, planned, guided and controlled, in developing interests and talents as the goals of the organization itself. VIKOR (VIseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje) is a multi-criteria optimization method used in complex systems. This method focuses on ranking and choosing from a set of alternatives, and specifies a compromise solution to the problem of conflicting criteria, which can help decision makers to reach the final decision. Here, a compromise solution is a viable solution that is closest to the ideal, and compromise means an agreement is established with mutual concessions.

Abstract

The development of PT. POS Indonesia, then more branches are open. With more and more branches opening, several problems often arise in each branch, and therefore the leadership of PT. POS Indoesia chooses the best POS Office, with determined alternatives (North Sumatra only). The benefit of selecting the best POS Office is to support the enthusiasm of POS Workers in carrying out their duties. The function of a decision support system in selecting the best POS office by producing an alternative in accordance with predetermined criteria. In this study the authors conducted a case study at the Post Office. Avoiding alleged research on the making of a Post Office election decision support system. The method of decision making in the system that will be designed by the writer uses the WASPAS method to assist in making the selection decision for the best post office selection. The WASPAS method has simple calculations and is easy to understand. The method was chosen because the decision support model in which the main equipment is a functional hierarchy with the main input is human perception, ie in this case the person who is an expert in the problem or the person who understands the problem of choosing the best post office.
