Abstract

The Midwifery Academy (AKBID) is one of the options for continuing post-graduate education, especially in the city of Medan. A quality private midwifery academy greatly influences the course of an education. To easily compete in the world of work. Because a good AKBID has a good accreditation, AKBID accreditation is very influential in the world of work. Especially in the career path, acceptance of new workers. Determining the IMR in the city of Medan is not easy, because there are many IMRs in the city of Medan. There are too many IMRs available, making it difficult to determine the IMR manually, and the election results are sometimes inaccurate and become a problem in determining the best IMR. Decision Support System (DSS) is a system that can assist a person in making accurate and targeted decisions. The method used in the Decision Support System is to use Multi-Attributive Border Approximation Area Comparison (MABAC). This method was chosen because it can assist the decision-making process determining the optimal midwifery academy, in this case the intended alternative is the one who has the right to become the best Midwifery Academy based on the specified criteria.

Abstract

The implementation of education in Vocational High School can not be separated from the important role of a Head of Department, especially in vocational education that becomes his area of expertise. The head of the department has many important tasks related to his field of youth. The determination of the head of the department at SMK Negeri 1 Perbaungan is carried out annually, in which the candidates are assessed in their entirety by the principal and then determined a head of the department who is fit to be the head of the department in that period. To get better results in determining the head of the department can use the Decision Support System as an application that helps the principal in determining the head of the department. A suitable method used based on this case is a combination of Entropy and Extended Promethee II methods in which it can compare between one alternative and another based on each criteria value. Weighting also uses entropy method so that the weight value generated from each alternative value can be more accurate. The resulting exprom II method presents the best candidates to be the head of the department

Abstract

The development of the digital world era continues to grow and is increasing. Many industries have switched to digital technology such as photos, videos, music, and so on. Of course, this change brings many benefits in terms of speed and data access. Ease of accessing the internet also has a major impact on human life. The ease of accessing documents online is very helpful if you want to find and download pdf documents online. With this convenience, many of the same pdf files are downloaded more than once. This will definitely burden the storage space. To distinguish one pdf file from another, it is done by viewing and reading the contents of the pdf file. This is very inconvenient and time consuming. To overcome this, we need a practical way that can be used to search for the same pdf document so that it can delete duplicate pdf files. One way that can be used to overcome this problem is to use a hash function. The hash function in cryptography is a very important tool in various cryptographic applications, for example in digital signature formation, authentication, and so on. Since the discovery of the MD4 hash algorithm by Ron Rivest, many other hash algorithms have been developed based on the principles of this algorithm. One of them is the RIPEMD-128 algorithm. RIPEMD-128 is an iterative hash function that operates on 32-bit words. By using a hash function, the identity of the pdf file can be generated. If the pdf files are the same it will produce the same hash value as well. This will make it easier to group the same pdf documents so that it will speed up the process of deleting the same pdf files. With the pdf file scanner application, pdf files will be searched for all folders and will group pdf files based on the same hash value. So that it will be easier for users to delete the same pdf file.

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of Information Technology and its wide application to various aspects or fields of business, information technology has also been widely used by industry or other organizations. Its utilization aims to facilitate users and provide efficiency in a business field in carrying out its activities. The situation of the coronavirus pandemic demands that we optimally not come into contact with other people or keep our distance. From the facts, many companies or offices still carry out manual receptions using receptionist services which will result in guests having to change their identities to get office access, and the high level of information technology facilities and infrastructure is not matched by the awareness of the Indonesian people to use them optimally. From these problems, the researcher proposes research as an alternative solution in the form of designing web and Android application systems to replace the receptionist function or what is called Digital Receptionist using a structured approach, Design Method, PHP, and MYSQL with web and android based application development. The results achieved are expected to be able to avoid touching hands or keep a distance and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the guest reception process. The conclusion obtained is that with this Digital Receptionist system, besides being able to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the guest reception process and avoid touching hands or keeping a distance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the right counseling teacher at SMK TPI Al-Hasanah to be able to help, direct and change the deviant behavior of students that occur in the school environment. The decision support system applied in this study is by using the VIKOR method. The data obtained in this study by direct observation to the field and also requesting accurate data from the leadership. The selection of counseling teachers is done with several criteria. The criteria are: (K1) last graduation, (K2) Length of Work, (K3), Discipline, (K4) Supporting certificates. It is expected that the results of this research using the VIKOR method can determine appropriate counseling teachers and be able to direct students at SMK TPI Al-Hasanah to become more virtuous individuals both in the school environment and also in the community
