Abstract

Background: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), stunting is defined as a growth factor that describes the failure to achieve growth potential as a result of suboptimal health and/or nutritional status, chronic nutritional problems caused by a lack of food for a long time, usually because the diet does not meet needs. nutrition. The problem of stunting starts in the womb and is not realized until the child is two years old. The prevalence of stunting in Bantaeng district is 5.84% and there is a high prevalence of stunting in local health centers at 211 (25.53%) and the highest prevalence of stunting in villages is in Bonto Tallas, namely 55 and the lowest is at Bisappu Community Health Center at 0 .58% (Dinkes 2023). Objective: to find out whether there is a relationship between mother's knowledge about food presentation and children's appetite Method: This research is quantitative research with a cross sectional method Results: the results of the Kolmogorof alternative chi squere test obtained a value of p= 0.023 (p<= 0.05) so it was concluded that there was a relationship between mother's knowledge about food presentation and changes in children's appetite. Conclusions and suggestions: there is a relationship between maternal knowledge and appetite in stunted children. The results of this research theoretically can be expected to provide additional knowledge and theory towards the development of nursing science to conduct further research related to the relationship between maternal knowledge about food presentation and appetite in children. stunted children

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is a major health emergency that causes significant suffering and many deaths among indigenous people worldwide. During the pandemic, indigenous communities have higher rates of health problems than the general population. This review explores the impact and strategies for handling COVID-19. This scoping review aims to draw key concepts from the available literature that underpins a research area. The literature search was conducted on eight databases, namely PubMed, DOAJ, Science Direct, Cochrane, Wiley, ProQuest, and Garuda, in July-November 2022. The online search engine was Google, and the keywords for the search were "impact of COVID-19 in indigenous people". The results of this review are expected to provide a reference of strategic considerations to deal with the pandemic in indigenous people. These strategies should focus on improving digital skills, health literacy to combat misinformation, awareness of COVID-19 handling, the benefits of COVID-19 prevention, and compliance with health guidelines as well as on actively involving patients in health decisions.

Abstract

The Effect of Reflexology Massage Education on Increasing Knowledge of DIII Midwifery Students in Batari Toja, Reflexology massage or reflexology is one of the complementary therapy methods that is increasingly popular in the world of health. In the context of midwifery, reflexology has great potential to improve the welfare of pregnant and lactating mothers. Reflexology is a therapy technique that focuses on certain points, such as the feet, hands and ears. However, there is still limited research on the effectiveness of reflexology massage education on midwifery students. In fact, midwifery students have an important role in providing information and support to pregnant and lactating mothers. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of reflexology massage education on increasing the knowledge of DIII Midwifery students. And also aims to analyze the effect of reflexology massage education on increasing the knowledge of DIII midwifery students in Batari Toja. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental research type with a pretest-posttest group design. The sample used was 38 students of Dlll Midwifery Batari Toja consisting of two classes, namely class 2A consisting of 20 students and Class 2B consisting of 18 students. Students' knowledge was measured before and after being given education using a knowledge test or questionnaire. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks Test, it can be concluded that, There is a significant increase in knowledge with a value of p = 0.000 p <0.05 which means there is an increase in knowledge of Dlll Midwifery Batari Toja students. Reflexology education has proven effective in increasing the knowledge of Dlll Midwifery Batari Toja students. This Learning Method has succeeded in significantly increasing the knowledge of DIII midwifery students and can be used to improve the quality of Midwifery education. Abstract

Background: Hypertension is often referred to as the Silent Killer and most people with hypertension are never aware of the signs and symptoms. And for this reason it is very important that blood pressure must be measured regularly. Objective: To be able to understand, explain and apply evidence-based practices in professional nursing, after carrying out Foot Soak Therapy Using Warm Water to Reduce Blood Pressure in Hypertensive Elderly in the Inpatient Room of X Hospital Research Method: Evidence base nurse (EBN) design used is the Quasy Experiment, especially the pretest-posttest design. Namely by conducting observations before and after the intervention without a control group. There were two intervention groups, namely the group that was given foot soak therapy using warm water for 4 consecutive days and carried out2 times a day. Results: The results show that after the intervention the blood pressure in elderly patients had a mean value of 1.75 (SD=0.500) while in the control group the mean blood pressure had a mean value of 1.50 (SD=0.577) with a p-value of 0.083 or greater than the significance value of p -value >0.05 Conclusion: which means there is no significant difference in mean blood pressure between the foot soaking intervention group using warm water and the control group in reducing blood pressure in the elderly in this study.

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition in which there is an increase in systolic blood pressure above the normal limit, namely more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of more than 90 mmHg. Objective: This systematic review aims to examine the effectiveness of foot massage interventions to reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients. which includes intervention models, measurement instruments, and evaluating the impact and effectiveness of foot massage interventions on reducing blood pressure. Method: used. Searches in this systematic review are several international data bases, namely Proquest, Ebsco, PubMed, Taylor, Cohrane, and secondary research (Gray literature) with a time span of 2018 to 2023 (10 years). Results: After reviewing all the articles, it was found that foot massage can reduce both systolic and diastolic blood pressure. The intervention model regarding Foot Massage varies in each study regarding the treatment of blood pressure in hypertensive patients and the most common is Foot Massage. The most widely used instrument for measuring blood pressure is the Sphygmomanometer. The results of evaluating the impact and effectiveness of the intervention show that Foot Massage is able to reduce both systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Likewise, the results of a systematic review show that foot massage is able to reduce both systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Conclusion: Hypertension patients who underwent foot massage therapy for approximately 30 minutes, at all reflex points on both feet, once every two weeks, for 4 weeks to 10 consecutive weeks experienced a significant reduction in the level of fatigue intensity. The time for measuring results should be carried out 24 hours after the intervention or serially according to the session carried out and using a certified and experienced therapist
