Abstract

Indonesia as an archipelago that lies in meeting the world's three major plates of the Australian Plate, Eurasian, and Pacific lead this country susceptible to earthquakes. Therefore, the need for a reliable earthquake information is required. For portability problem, one way to get earthquake information is to use portable devices such as smartphone or the tablets. Android as an operating system that can be embedded in portable devices, can also be installed a variety of applications required by users. At the end of this project developed an application of information and maps of earthquake locations named “Geumpa”. This application is expected to be an alternative as an option for use applications on the Android – based devices, especially for users of Android in Indonesia, because Indonesia lies that include prone to earthquake.

Abstract

Electronics is one of the household needs where these tools are very helpful in maintaining the freshness of food or drinks, namely the refrigerator or refrigerator. At this time, many other products have electronic product brands with all their advantages. The current research chooses the best quality used refrigerators because many refrigerators can still be used. To overcome this, a decision support system is needed in determining the best refrigerator using the Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method.Because this method uses the principle that the chosen alternative (used refrigerator) must have the closest distance from the positive ideal solution and the farthest from the negative ideal solution from a geometric point of view by using Euclidean distance to determine the relative proximity of an alternative (used refrigerator) to the optimal solution so that have good calculations and make good decisions. The criteria used in the assessment are the brand of the refrigerator, the engine, the body of the refrigerator, the freezer (coolant) space, the thermostat, and the refrigerator door.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the importance of instilling social values, especially for the practitioners of the Naqsyabandiyah Order in Meranti Village, Asahan Regency. These social values become a measuring tool for a value to remain harmonious between citizens. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method approach, meaning that this research focuses on existing phenomena then understood and analyzed in depth, in data collection techniques the researchers used observation and interview techniques. The results of this study illustrate that the community, especially the practitioners of the Naqsyabandiyah Order in Meranti Village, upholds social values in a social scope. family

Abstract

The distribution system is divided into primary and secondary distribution networks. The primary distribution network is a network from substation transformers (GI) to distribution substations, while the secondary distribution network is a channel network from distribution substation transformers to consumers or loads. The primary distribution network is better known as the medium voltage network (JTM 20kV) while the secondary distribution network is the low voltage network (JTR 220/380V). The distribution network is the part of the electric power system that is closest to the customer or the load compared to the transmission network. At this time PT. PLN (Persero) experienced a power loss that occurred at the connection point of the low voltage network (JTR) on the use of a piercing connector. This study is to analyze the calculation of power loss on a low voltage network (JTR) by comparing the measurements between the input and output at the connecting point of the piercing connector with the line tap connector. With these conditions, it is necessary to evaluate and analyze for re-planning that takes into account planning criteria such as voltage drops and takes into account power losses for the sake of continuity of electricity services so that optimization appears on the network used.

Abstract

The function of technology in fisheries is a renewable innovation that is needed by fishermen. From fishing patterns that were previously only based on tides and the position of the moon, now using technology fishermen can find out which locations have a lot of fish so that they are more efficient and don't take a long time and luck. in catching fish in the sea. The design of a system that initializes fish objects using sonar by utilizing marine acoustics is expected to help increase fishermen's catches. The system is built by utilizing the Arduino UNO microcontroller and echosounder as well as an Android smartphone that will display readings from the echo sounder.

Abstract

The problem of slow connection arises if many teachers and employees use it simultaneously so that the use of video conferencing falters due to inappropriate bandwidth usage, it is necessary to mark incoming data packets as internet browsing or as data packets for video conferencing. Therefore, the result of this research is to optimize the network by prioritizing the connection used by video conferencing so that it can be used properly without any disturbance when teachers and other employees use internet access.

Abstract

The impact of processing the tofu industry is liquid waste which mainly causes problems. Tofu liquid waste can be used as biogas. For this reason, it is necessary to study a feasibility analysis for constructing a biodigester from a technical, economic, and environmental perspective. The engineering work process in technical analysis determines the type of digester and the appropriate and efficient placement obtained from operational costs, land area, and production capacity. The technical analysis survey found that the type of reactor installation was chosen was the modified Cover Lagoon Anaerobic Reactor (Colar) with a portable model with a capacity of 200 liters. The economic analysis study is used to determine the feasibility of developing a Biodigester in determining the budget details and obtaining the estimated cost of Rp. 2,301,000, - and investment in the next five years with parameters Net Present Value (NPV) = Rp. 7.512.000,- (positive value), Probability Index (PI) = 3.2 1 in the investment period, Internal Rate Of Return (IRR) at the generally accepted interest rate, the NPV is positive, and there is no IRR and Payback Period (PP) = 1.3 Years (≤ investment period of 5 years). Environmental feasibility analysis shows that the outer biodigester is safe and has a slightly pungent odor and reduced tofu factory liquid waste. Handling from the exterior involves a particular route to closed drainage or pipe to a final disposal site or a closed septic tank.

Abstract

Monitoring inland fires can help Human vision do amazing things, such as recognizing people or objects and navigating through obstacles, which can also be done using satellite imagery or cameras with image processing methods using uncrewed aircraft (UAV). Image processing is an activity where computers require a sensor that functions like the human eye and a computer program that acts as a data processor from the sensor. This research will focus on designing and implementing the computer vision metro de thresholding method, which is used for camera image data processing to detect fire inland fires. This value will be used as color filtering for parameters to detect fire objects and also as a threshold value for segmentation image.

Abstract

Power plants that are located far from community settlements produce their advantages and advantages for electrical energy providers. The non-strategic position makes the producers of electrical energy have to deliver electrical energy to the users or customers who use electrical energy. The power flow calculation system is used to find out how much voltage, current, real power, and reactive power are received by the receiving side. The research method used is the research data approach so that it is by the data in the field. From the results of the above calculations, it can be seen that the difference in the calculation between the MATLAB M-file and the MATLAB Simulink there is a difference in the calculation of the voltage on the bus load 2 of -0.0012 Pu. The difference in calculation data can also be seen in the slack bus which has an active power of 0.02 Pu and reactive power of 0.03 Pu. The difference in calculation data can also be seen in bus load 1 which has an active power of 5.89 Pu and reactive power of 47.29 Pu. The difference in calculation data can also be seen in bus load 2 which has an active power of 60.89 Pu and reactive power of 38.79 Pu.

This study aims to determinethe effectiveness of chicken manure and ecoenzymes on the growth of soybean (Glycine max L. Merril) plants. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 2 treatment factors, 16 treatment combinations and 2 blocks so that there were 32 plots. Treatments (1) Chicken Manure Organic Fertilizer (A) consisted of A0 = No Chicken Manure Organic Fertilizer, A1 = Chicken Manure Organic Fertilizer 7.00 g/plot, A2 Chicken Manure Organic Fertilizer 1,400 g/plot, A3 Chicken Manure Organic Fertilizer 2,100 g/ plots. For treatment (2) Ecoenzyme (R) consisted of R0 = Without Ecoenzyme Treatment, R1 = Ecoenzyme Treatment 1:100, R2 = Ecoenzyme Treatment 1: 200, R3 = Ecoenzyme Treatment 1:300. The changes observed were plant height (cm), and number of leaves (strands).
