Abstract

Data security and confidentiality is one of the most important aspects in the field of communication, especially communication using computer media. One area of science used to secure data is cryptography. Cryptography is a science that uses mathematical equations to process the encryption and decryption of data. Encryption is the process of changing plaintext (data that can be read) into ciphertext (data that cannot be read) and decryption is the opposite of encryption, which changes ciphertext back into plaintext.

Abstract

Expert systems have been widely used to solve a problem in various fields such as medicine, mathematics, engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, computer science, business, law, education, and defense. If the expert system is associated with the doctor's ability to diagnose the patient's health, a computer system can be created that can identify and analyze the symptoms that arise in the patient and provide suggestions for treatment. Worming seems trivial, but if you look closely it turns out to have a serious impact on affecting the health of livestock which will ultimately have a direct impact on production decline. Cattle that have intestinal worms will experience nutritional deficiencies or nutrients, so that the resistance to disease will decrease, so it is easily attacked by other diseases, especially infectious diseases. Bayesian probability theory is one of the branches of mathematical-statistical theory that allows us to create a model of the uncertainty of events that occur by combining general knowledge with facts from observations.

Abstract

In everyday life, many activities are found. One of them is waiting in line. Queuing is a boring thing. Moreover, the arrangement of the queues is not organized and the officers do not pay attention to who is the first to queue. So it is not uncommon to cause complications and even angry. Therefore, to handle problems in the queue, the simulation is implemented using the first in first out algorithm. With this algorithm, it can help determine who will be served first. Simulation is a way that is done to apply a more realistic system estimate. In this case, the authors use the first in first out algorithm. First in first out algorithm, i.e. first in, first out. In this case who is the first to wait in line, he will be served first and finish first. In this way, it is hoped that this will help determine who will be served first.

Abstract

Data mining is a technique of extracting information that has not been known before in a collection of data in the database. Data mining has been applied in various fields that require information extraction. One of them is in grouping data. Grouping is used to divide a set of data into several useful parts so that it is easier to identify the class of data. Distribution companies can use grouping, one of which is to determine the intensity of the volume of goods ordered. This study analyzes the application of data mining with the k-means clustering algorithm to extract information from random goods ordering data. Namely by using the number of items and the total amount of the quantity of each item ordered. Then it is implemented into a website-based system to make it easier to get valid information.

Abstract

In the business world, it takes a prediction or estimate of an action that will be processed to follow up on the results that will be expected in the next few periods. Therefore, we need a forecasting process that is used to support the decisions of a company to get the maximum profit. Exponential Smoothing method is a method that has been widely used for forecasting because it has a pretty good performance. Exponential smoothing method is a procedure that continuously improves forecasting by averaging the past value of a time series data by decreasing (exponential). Exponential Smoothing method has several alpha parameters used, namely 0.1; 0.5; 0.9 to support the calculation that will be used in forecasting. With these methods, calculations can be done to find the best optimal value with the smallest error rate. The selected forecasting method is used to forecast computer sales.

Abstract

compete in order to maintain the survival of the company. Technological progress is experiencing very rapid development in all fields to improve company performance in various sectors. Technology. Accounting information system is the most important part needed by companies related to financial data. To produce quality information, a quality accounting information system is needed. The purpose of this study is to determine how much influence organizational culture, top management support, and internal control have on the quality of accounting information systems at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Bandung. The method used in this research is descriptive and verification method with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study were 30 respondents from the finance and accounting information system at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Bandung. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis and to partially test the hypothesis used t-test. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Organizational Culture has a significant effect on the Quality of Accounting Information Systems, 2) Top Management Support has a significant effect on the Quality of Accounting Information Systems, 3) Internal Controls have a significant effect on the Quality of Accounting Information Systems at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Bandung

Abstract

The motorcycle spare part sales information system at the Kiel Jaya Mandiri Workshop, Pematangsiantar City is a system that provides information services in the form of purchase transaction data and sales reports of goods data and stock of goods. So far, the recording of sales transactions of goods, goods data, and stock of goods is still done manually so that the sales calculation transaction process often results in errors. With the existence of a motorcycle spare part sales information system at the Kiel Jaya Mandiri workshop, it can help the process of recording sales transactions so that data processing is faster and more efficient.

Abstract

Computer Based Test or abbreviated as CBT is a test that is carried out using computers and the internet, the characteristics of this system are almost the same as tests in general, only the media for the work are different. The difference lies in the delivery of the problem that no longer uses paper and the correction can be done immediately after the test is complete, thus providing convenience for all users. The design of this system is carried out with a modeling language using UML, while the programming used is PHP and MySQL. From the results of this design, the resulting Computer Based Test information system is expected to make it easier for teachers and students in the teaching process, especially in conducting UAS and UTS school exams, as well as training students so that they can face online- based exams given by the government.
