Waste from community activities around the mangrove area of South Lembar Village is suspected to be the cause of water pollution in that location. The existence of mangroves can overcome water pollution due to the ability of their biofilters. The purpose of this study was to determine the concentration of lead (Pb) and Cadmium (Cd) pollutants in the mangrove area of South Lembar Village and how the status of water pollution and the effectiveness of the mangrove's ability as a water pollution biofilter in South Sheet Village were. Data was collected through direct observation, testing of lead and cadmium parameters, measurement of physico-chemical parameters (temperature, salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen) and density data collection. This research uses purposive sampling method and plotted transect plot. Data analysis used descriptive method, storet method and density value analysis. The results of the lead and cadmium test on water samples at all stations are < 0.0002 mg/L, and the results of the measurement of physico-chemical parameters for the highest average temperature of 30.33oC, the highest average pH of 8.0, the highest average salinity 29.33‰, the highest average DO is 6.57 mg/L. Mangrove density in all stations obtained very dense density values. It can be concluded that the concentrations of lead and cadmium in all stations are still low and meet the quality standards. After being analyzed by the storet method, it is known if the water conditions are included in class A water (very good). The role of the mangrove biofilter can be seen from the condition of the waters that are still good.

Community forest is a state forest that is utilized for the empowerment of local communities (Permenhut P.88/Menhut-11/2014). Agroforestri is one way to manage forest plants with a combination of agricultural crops with the hope of improving the community's economy without having to destroy the forest by knowing the density of plant species and maintaining plants. Knowing the density of species and plant maintenance is very important because to know the type of plant vegetation it is necessary to do the type of density while to know the productivity of plants it is necessary to know plant maintenance techniques. This study aims to determine the diversity of plant species in HKm Maju Jaya Pekon, Belalau District, West Lampung. This research was conducted in March 2021. Based on the results of the research, the density of each plant population was found, with the highest density being the coffee plant (Coffea robusta) of 929.83 individuals/ha. For the tree phase, the highest density was occupied by Jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus) by 22.9 individuals/ha. The highest percentage is weed control and branch pruning, which is as much as 100% of all respondents carrying out fertilization activities as much as 56.7%. Embroidery activities were 36.7%, pendangiran activities were 23.3%, pest and disease control activities were 6.7% and thinning activities were 6.7%.

The use of petung bamboo as a laminated board is expected to save on the use of high quality wood, cost efficiency and is beneficial for forest sustainability so that it can reduce deforestation as little as possible. Bamboo petung can be made of laminated boards because it has thick stem walls (10 mm - 30 mm), thick stem walls will save the use of adhesives. The feasibility of using petung bamboo as a laminated board needs to be tested for its physical and mechanical properties. Physical properties are needed to determine the dimensional stability of the board and mechanical properties are needed to determine the ability of the board to withstand loads. The method used in this research is an experimental method with a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD). This study aims to determine the physical and mechanical properties of petung bamboo laminated board towards the width. Based on the value of the strength class of the laminated board, the bamboo petung laminated board with the arrangement towards the width is included in the strong class III which can be used as building materials such as door frames, windows, panels, household furniture and wood industries.

Land development in the Waeruhu watershed moves dynamically due to changes in land cover/land use. The phenomenon of land use change is inseparable from the demand for land along with the increasing population in Ambon City. The aim of this study was to determine the factors that influence changes in land cover/land use in the Waeruhu watershed. Analysis of the factors that influence land use change using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. Factors analyzed in this study include settlements, trade and service centers, educational facilities, roads and rivers. Determination of respondents in this study was determined by purposive sampling, namely Bapedalitbang Ambon City, Maluku River Hall, and Academics. The results showed that settlements had a weighted factor (0.40) which had the most influence on land use changes in the Waeruhu watershed, while the least influential factor was river network with a factor weight of (0.06). Changes in land use that occur in the Waeruhu watershed are thought to be triggered by the increasing rate of population growth which has an impact on increasing the need for land to be built up.
