Abstract

Abstract Background : Stroke cases in Indonesia increased each year in East Java, the number of casestroke by 16% increase. The success of stroke treatment is highly dependent on the speed, accurand precision at the beginning of the incident. Based on the existing cases of stroke, we need comprehensive assessment methods, it aims to determine the appropriate action in stroke patiso that they can to minimize the severity of the stroke. Assessment of the National InstituteHealth Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is the first step of the nursing process to gather accurate datorder to minimize the degree of disability and death in the case of stroke. Methode: Ustatistical analysis between the appraiser, determined reliability intraclass correlation coefficcaracteristic (ICC) using ANOVA. Retrospective represent clinically relevant values. Receoperator characteristic (ROC) was used as the NIHSS assessment accuracy. Result: Clinicallstatistically significant differences between the estimates of the average score in accordance the six assessors (ANOVA: overall P=0.15, log P=0.28, debit P=0.59). Couple assessors excellent ICCs ranging from 0.70 to 0.89. pair of assessors over 90%. Estimated value of NIwere within 5 points with a high degree of reliability and validity. Conclusion: NIHSS designed as a tool to measure stroke patients. this scale to evaluate sharpness stroke patientdetermine the proper treatment, and predict the outcome of stroke patients. Keyword : NIHSS, Spesifikasi Stroke

Abstract

Abstract Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease that if not managed properly will cause various chronic complications. Peripheral arterial disorder is one of the complications of DM. The activities that support the management of DM well is with self care behavior. This study aims to determine the effect of self care behavior on the value of ankle barkhial index (ABI). The research design used was analytic correlation with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all patients of DM in Unit Disease In RSUD Jombang as many as 100 respondents. The sample size is 60 respondents using simple random sampling technique. This research instrument uses self care inventory revised version and ABI SOP questionnaire. Data analysis using spearman rank test statistic. The result of the research is mostly (75%) of respondents of Self Care Behavior of DM patient is high of 45 respondents, almost all (76,6%) no complication of DM number 46  respondents, statistic test obtained p = 0,000, and r = 0,948. It shows that P <a (0,05), meaning there is influence Self Care Behavior to nili ABI, with very strong correlation coefficient. The better the DM patients do Self Care Behavior the smaller the complications that occur. The importance of self-care behavior will control blood sugar levels in the body so as to prevent the possibility of complications of DM.  Keywords: Self Care Behavior, diabetes, ABI

Abstract

Abstract Psychiatric emergencies often occur in both the service and the community. Need for socialization about the management of the patient, one of them is by way of restrain. The purpose of making this learning video is because there are still many people who do actions pasung on people with mental disorders so that this media helps readers to disseminate safe way of restrain. The methods used include using hardware and software tools. The hardware device is the Mini 210 Hewlett-Packard (Hp) Notebook, whereas to combine the appropriate software files of Intel Atom (TM) processor CPU N550 @1.50 GHz 1.50 GHz Windows 7 Starter 2009; Camtasia 8.4 (TM) TechSmith Corporation version 8.4.0.1699; CyberLink YouCam Corporation version 4.0.0.8.2.0; Microsoft Office Professional Plus Power Point 2010 version 14.0.4763.100 with the title of restrain. Also using some background music and videos that are downloaded at youtube. Upload using social media facebook Indah Mukarromah/Hakuna Matata. Assessment using 3 validation ways that is expert validation, testing, and publish. The results showed that 4 respondents from 10 respondents gave feedback, expertly validated and the experiments showed an average of 80. However, publish validation required additional improvements in the image media in the presentation slides, less maximal narrator volume, and the addition of effects-related material Side use of restrain. Abstract

Abstract The problems faced by GGK patients are complex in addition to physical problems, as well as  psychological and economic problems posed to serious threats to CKG patients. It takes a tremendous psychological adaptation of patients and families to deal with congenital problems. This study was conducted to analyze the ability of psychological adaptation of GGK patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy. This research was conducted in Kabupaten Ponorogo, with the sample number of 100 respondents taken by purposive in RSUD Dr. Hardjono Ponorogo .   Crosssectional analytic design is done to measure the ability of psychological adaptation which includes self concept, interdepensi, and role function. To analyze the relationship between variables bivariate analysis was used with chi square test.  The psychological adaptability of hemodialysis patients is 74% adaptive, 69% adaptive and 87% adaptive. Age is related to the adaptation ability of patients who undergo hemodialsis on the role and self-concept. Respondents aged less than 50 years have the potential to experience self-concept adaptation failure of 0.3 times (OR = 0.27; CI = 0.104-0704) and the role of 0.4 times (OR = 0.406; CI = 0.170-0.969) of respondents Who are over 50 years old.  There is a relationship between the work with the ability of respondents to adaptation of selfconcept and role. Respondents who were not working at risk 4 times experienced adaptation failures in self-concept aspects (OR = 3,824; CI = 1,315-11,115) and roles (OR = 3,631; CI = 1,266-10,414) compared with respondents working Keywords: Psychological Adaptation, Hemodialysis
