Abstract

AbstractAs the gestational age increases, the back of the pregnant woman turns to the shoulder pulled back as a result of enlargement of the protruding abdomen and to maintain body balance due to excessive curvature in the spine, commonly called lordosis. As the age of the fetus gets older the greater it becomes so that the curve of the lower back increases. This can also aggravate back pain. The use of maternity bras and flat shoes can reduce stretches on the back so that pregnant women can still be active. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Maternity Bra and flat shoes on back pain in second and third trimester pregnant women at the BKIA Poli Islamic Hospital in Surabaya. This research is a type of Quasi Experiment research. The target population is all second and third trimester pregnant women in the BKIA Poli Islamic Hospital in Surabaya. The research unit of 30 respondents was obtained through simple random sampling technique. The independent variable is maternity bra and flat shoes, while the dependent variable is back pain. Data collection on the use of maternity bras and flat shoes with a checklist, back pain data using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Wilxocon Signed Rank Test and Man Whitney Test.Wilxocon statistical test results found that the use of maternity bras and flatshoes affect back pain in second and third trimester pregnant women, with Asymp.Sig values. (2-tailed) worth 0.001. With the whitney man test found that the use of flatshoes is more effective in reducing back pain compared to the use of maternity bras. The conclusion of this research is the use of maternity bras and flatshoes can reduce complaints of back pain in pregnant women at the Islamic hospital in Surabaya, therefore the use of maternity bras and flatshoes is highly recommended for pregnant womenKeywords: Maternity bra, Flatshoes, back pain and second and third trimester pregnant women

Abstract

ABSTRACT Perineal laceration or also known as perineal rupture is one of the most often trauma suffered by women during childbirth, even during normal delivery child birth process. Laceration can be classified as mild (first and second degrees) and severe (third and fourth degrees). Perineal laceration may occur due to several factors such as age of mother and parity. Large infant head and rigid perineal muscles in primiparous can cause perineal laceration due to the perineum is not strong enough to hold the babies head strain. This research aims to determine the relationship between age of mother and parity with perineal laceration degree at dr R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Hospital, Purbalingga. The research design uses corelation study with retrospective approach. Samples were collected using quota sampling technique. Respondents in this research were 305 mothers who gave birth spontaneously with perineal lacerations. Data was taken by performing documentation study using ssecondary data. There results of corellation between age of mother and perineal laceration degree with p-value 0,136 > α 0,05 and corellation between parity with perineal laceration degree with p-value 0,000 < α 0,05. The conclusions of this research are there was corellation between age of mother with perineal laceration degree and there was a significant relationship between parity with perineal laceration degree. Keywords: age of mother, parity, perineal laceration degree.

Abstract

ABSTRACTImproper handling of management systems and quickly increase mortality in head injuries. Triage assessment can reduce the risk of death. However, triage is at risk of undertriage which can increase mortality. A more detailed assessment system is needed, so Revised trauma score (RTS) can be used to minimize undertriage. The purpose of this study is to analyze the triage assessment and RTS assessment in predicting mortality in cases of head trauma. The study design was observational analytic with cross sectional approach. The population was all head trauma patients in the emergency room at Jombang Regional Hospital with 121 patients. The sample consisted of 89 respondents taken using Simple Random Sampling. The research instrument used observation sheets. Data were analyzed using Chi-square test with a significance level of p <α (α = 0.05). The results of the triage and mortality assessment show a significance value of p = 0.00 (p <α), meaning that there is a relationship between the triage assessment and mortality. While the RTS assessment shows a significance value of p = 0.00 (p <α) so that, it means that there is a relationship between RTS assessment and mortality. Triage assessment can speed up the handling of head trauma and RTS can know the physiological status so as to determine an accurate action. Both triage assessment and RTS can predict mortality risk in head injuries. Keywords: Head trauma, triage, Revised Trauma Score (RTS), mortalitas.

Nausea and vomiting (NPV) are common symptoms during early pregnancy, affecting as many as 80% of pregnant women. Studies at Bhayangkara Hospital Semarang shows that in 2017 there were 67 patients experiencing HG, and 2018 there was 1 fetus died from HG, this shows the seriously of the problem of pregnant women who have HG. Purpose: Knowing the relationship of HG to Maternal Antenatal Attachment at Bhayangkara Hospital. Method: Quantitative research method with descriptive correlative design and cross sectional research design. The sample was 32 respondents with inclusion criteria for mothers of pregnant women aged 20-35 years who had HG. Sampling by accidental sampling. The data used questionnaires and analysis of results using chi square. Result: the results of statistical tests using the chi square test, ρ value 0,031 0,668 (≥ 0,005). The result was no significant relationship between hyperemesis gravidarum and maternal antenatal attachment. Keywords : hiperemesis gravidarum, maternal antenatal attachment
