Abstract

Image processing (digital image processing) is a discipline that studies image processing techniques. The image referred to in this study is a static image originating from the vision sensor (webcame). Mathematically, image is a continuous function with light intensity in a two-dimensional plane. So that it can be processed with a digital computer. An image must be represented numerically with discrete values. A digital image can be represented by a two-dimensional matrix f (x, y) consisting of M columns and N rows. In this study, the color model used is the HSV color model, namely the image (RGB) is converted into HSV to determine the comparison of the original image with the conversion results from RGB to HSV. In image color processing, there are various models, one of which is the hue, saturation, value (HSV) model. By using this model, an object with a certain color can be detected and reduce the influence of the light intensity from outside. The search for paint color codes serves to facilitate all the work of buyers and sellers in determining the color of paint to be taken so that sellers and buyers no longer have to use a catalog to determine paint color and paint code. Abstract

Decision Support System (DSS) as a computer-based system that helps in the process of making an adaptive, interactive, flexible decision, which is specifically developed to support the solution of unstructured management problems. to improve the quality of decision making. One of them is for the selection of candidates for chairman of the Karate-Do Indonesia Sports Federation (FORKI) Toba Samosir, which so far the selection process has been carried out by means of voting between the implementing committee only so that the assessment is less objective. So to solve this problem this study uses the Weighted Product (WP) method for the selection of candidates for chairman of the Indonesian Karate-Do Sports Federation (FORKI) Toba Samosir and helps the decision-making process. The criteria used for selection are Understanding Management, Integrity, Leadership, Achievement, Belt Rankings. With the results of the Decision Support System for the Selection of Candidates for the Chair of the Indonesian Karate-Do Sports Federation (FORKI) Toba Samosir can assist in conducting assessments according to predetermined criteria. After being processed using an application that applies the WP method, the best candidate is recommended to be the candidate for chairman of the Indonesian Karate-Do Sports Federation (FORKI) Toba Samosir, so that the assessment is more objective

Abstract

Business competition in the field of selling school uniforms in Medan is currently very tight. UD Rohana is a business unit engaged in the sale and purchase of school uniforms. At UD Rohana itself, at every moment the increasing demand often experiences problems in stocking and distributing existing uniforms to consumers (shops / retailers). This of course will be a loss for UD Rohana in carrying out its business turnaround. For this we need a system that can monitor and check the condition of the stock of goods in several stores. So that if there is an increase in demand or sales in one shop where the demanded goods are accumulated in another shop, then UD Rohana can distribute them to the stores that need them. Supply chain management in the business world has adopted a lot of Supply Chain Management (SCM). With implementing SCM, we can control the existing business processes at UD Rohana. For methods in system development using Rapid Application Development (RAD) and for system business processes using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The results of this study are the development of a school uniform distribution information system successfully developed by adopting the SCM system.

Abstract

Poverty is the main problem and complex for every country including Indonesia. APS (Angka Partisipasi Sekolah) percentage of Indonesia is declining in the higher education. It causes the quality of the next generation to become low and trapped in a cycle of poverty. In order to accelerate poverty reduction, starting is implementing Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH). The different criterias that are used, make the companion staff find it difficult to determine the priority components of RTM (Rumah Tangga Miskin) that become PKH participants. This study aims to determine the priority of the RTM component that can be used by everyone, espesially for the PKH companion staff to be on target. The method used is the AHP method to overcome the priority criteria, which will then be sorted from the highest to the lowest, by testing 100 family data of prospective recipients of PKH assitance, obtained 95 data on families who are eligible to receive PKH assistance and 5 data on families who are not eligible to receive PKH.

Abstract

Pematangsiantar City is one of the regions in Indonesia which has a land area of ​​79.97 KM2. the office of the National Land Affairs Agency is a non-ministerial government institution in Indonesia that has the task of carrying out government duties in the land sector in the city of Pematangsiantar and providing land certificates for the community. A system for predicting the need for blank soil certificates using the Artificial Neural Network method is a method that is able to perform a mathematical process to predict the need for blank certificates for soil certificates using the backpropagation algorithm for data processing implemented with matlab. Data were collected through direct observation and grouped based on the annual need for blango factors. The results obtained from the test are the performance and epoch values ​​where each architecture is not the same. The test results are displayed in the form of a graph comparing the target value with the training and testing process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the flood vulnerability in the Mandailing Natal Regency. In this study, researchers used the Artificial Neural Network method with the Backprogation algorithm. Artificial neural network method is a method that is able to perform mathematical processes to predict flood-prone areas with backprogation algorithms for data management that is applied by matlap. The data source used is direct observation in the area of Mandailing Natal Regency. The data will be managed based on flood disasters that occur every year. The results obtained from the test are performance and epoch values where each architecture is not the same, the test results are displayed in the form of a graph comparing the target value with the training and testing process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the developed problem-based learning model-oriented learning tools, 2) the improvement of mathematical problem-solving abilities by using the developed problem-based learning model-oriented learning tools, 3) the student's answer process in solve mathematical problem solving through the developed learning model oriented problem-based learning tools. This research is a development research with the Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel development models. The subjects in this study were students of class VII SMP Negeri 13 Medan. From the results of trial I and trial II obtained: 1) the learning device developed meets the valid criteria; learning tools developed meet practical criteria; learning tools developed meet the criteria for being effective; 2) there is an increase in the ability to solve mathematical problems using the developed learning tools; 3) the student's answer process in trial II was better than trial I.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Guided-discovery learning model with a scientific approach assisted by GeoGebra software and student attitudes in learning mathematics on the topic of Geometry. This type of research is applied research. The population of this study were high school students and the sample of this study were students of class XII. The results of this study indicate that: the application of the Guided-discovery learning model with the scientific approach assisted by GeoGebra software on the topic of Geometry will be effective in teaching students, the application of the Guided-discovery learning model with the scientific approach assisted by GeoGebra software on the topic of Geometry will make students positive in learning mathematics
