Abstract

Madani Hotel is one of the hotels located in Medan City which is a place of lodging for regional, national and international tourists, because this Madani Hotel is very strategically located close to the City Center, Grand Mosque, and Maimun Palace, some of which have become city icons. own field. This study uses data mining techniques using the k-means cluster method with the rapidminer application to visualize the pattern of causes of guest satisfaction with Hotel Madani both from service, facilities, comfort and price at Madani Hotel Medan City, the purpose of this research is to support and provide presentations for owners and Madani Hotel manager so that it can be used to assess how to increase the number of visits or guests at Madani Hotel Medan City. Based on research conducted, Madani Hotel's guest satisfaction score for comfort = 11, service = 14, facilities = 13, and price = 12.

Abstract

In this study, the k-means algorithm was used to group schools and categorize DPRD grants into very feasible, feasible, and impractical categories for better focus. Based on the results of computational analysis using the K-Means clustering algorithm using the Euclidean distance equation for the distribution of DPRD suction subsidies from 52 schools, 28 schools are in the very decent category and 11 schools are decent. In that category, 13 schools were found with fewer categories. executable category. RapidMiner Studio v.7.6 software can group schools based on the distribution needs of DPRD suction tools for more effective and efficient results.

Abstract

Monitoring the results of solar panel performance has an important role to evaluate the performance of solar panels in hot outdoor environmental conditions. This study aims to provide a new direct and real-time monitoring method for monitoring voltage, current, and temperature in solar panels and automatic cooling systems for solar panel surfaces. To meet these needs, a solar panel temperature monitoring and control system has been designed. This system is equipped with voltage sensors, current sensors, and temperature sensors, a data transfer system that is integrated in the smartphone application, automatic control of the cooling system on the panel, and cloud storage for Internet of Things (IoT)-based data. storage. The design of this system is based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller which is connected to Blynk IoT via the ESP8266 Wi-Fi module with serial communication so that the system can be controlled and monitored in real time. The results obtained from this monitoring system are measurement data for each sensor which can be directly stored and displayed on the Blynk application dashboard in real time. From the results of a comparison of testing the cooling system on the surface of the panel for application variation 2 with a setpoint of 35 °C, an average temperature drop of 8.79 °C or 21.1% is obtained and for variation 3 with a setpoint of 30 °C, the average temperature drop of 8.69 °C or 20.89% compared to without using a cooling system with an average temperature of 41.57 °C. So that the use of a cooling system with water flow is very useful for public knowledge in terms of lowering the temperature on the surface of the solar panel, so that it will increase the output of the solar panel.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has had an impact on various fields of life and professions. An organization usually has various kinds of business processes that it wants to achieve. Business models can assist in evaluating current and common business models out of business process automation (BPA). PT. XXX is a manufacturing company that produces paper with the largest output in Indonesia. The company is committed to implementing sustainable business principles in all of its operational activities. So far, Control Monitoring activities at the company are still carried out manually, starting from taking samples, checking the standard of a spare part, to preparing reports. This causes the ineffectiveness of the work cycle, so to overcome these problems a computerized system is created in the form of a Monitoring Control System (MOS) application for the Finance & Accounting department. With this application program, it is hoped that it will be able to reduce the use of paper in the process of monitoring, recording, and speed up the preparation of reports so that they are more quickly received by other departments at PT XXX.

Abstract

The level of consumption of domestic electrical energy is increasing along with the economic growth of the population in Indonesia, especially in Aceh, Gayo Lues Regency is a lot of potential water energy that has not been utilized to produce electrical energy. The pico hydro power plant is a renewable energy that is environmentally friendly, it is expected to be able to utilize the potential of water flow around farmer's plantations, and to find out how much power capacity is generated in the flow of water in farmer's gardens, and aims to find out how much output power the generator will generate from the potential of water flow to be used as a substitute for the use of fossil fuels, as lighting at night and to recharge farmers' electronic equipment in the fields of Gayo Lues Regency. The methodology used for data collection in this study was to collect data directly from the field by means of measurement and testing of tools, the data obtained from this study was by bidding water with a height of water falling on a test of 0.8 meters, 0.9 meters and 1 meter By calculating and analyzing the water discharge that has the potential to produce electric power with an average water discharge of 8.58 m3/s, the type of turbine used in this study is the Kaplan turbine with head adjustment and more specifically for the turbine and alternator with power 40 watts.

Abstract

The Sompak Awe Jaya Cooperative currently manages conventional data, namely recording every savings and loan transaction in a ledger, which is then summarized in Microsoft Excel. Calculations for financial transactions use a calculator, so it takes a long time to process them. So the authors are interested in designing a savings and loan information system at the Sompak Awe Jaya cooperative. The idea of this design is that the finance department can efficiently process savings and loan data, automatic financial calculations are carried out by the system, and membership registration through the application will increase work efficiency. Meanwhile, cooperative managers can track savings and loan activities, view financial transaction data, receive reports, and print existing reports and this system is accessed by two actors, namely admin and finance. Therefore the author aims to create an accounting information system for processing savings and loans so that data management is carried out efficiently and effectively and helps secure existing data because the data is stored in the database. This design uses entity relationship diagram modeling and logical record structure for database design while modeling system flow using user case diagrams, deployment diagrams, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams.
