Abstract

Determination of the thesis supervisor at the Faculty of Computer science, Al Washliyah University (UNIVA) Labuhanbtu is currently carried out by determining directly by determining the thesis supervisor to direct and assist in completing the thesis. The main objective of this research is to determine the thesis supervisor of the Faculty Computer science, University of Al Washliyah (UNIVA) Labuhanbatu, the method used in determining the supervisor is using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. The creation of this system begins. Observing and searching for data, analyzing and collecting data, designing, programming, and the application uses the visual basic programming language, source code and access database for its database. The final result of this research is to produce a decision support system for determining thesis supervisor using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method.

Abstract

Oil palm planting has bright prospects due to the sufficient availability of various supporting factors, although there are also various challenges to the existence and sustainability of these natural resources. Oil palm (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq) is a plantation crop that is very tolerant of unfavorable environmental conditions. Bud rot (spear rot) is a disease that attacks the bud or shoot area of oil palm plants. You have to be wary of this disease because it attacks young plants so that the plant grows abnormally, is unable to form fruit, is stunted, and grows slowly. The most worrying thing is that the attack is at the growing point. If a hole is made in the stem, a foul-smelling yellow liquid will come out. The decision support system is a system device capable of solving problems efficiently and effectively, which aims to assist decision making in choosing various decision alternatives which are the result of processing information obtained using a decision making model. Using the Trend Moment method, the aim is to determine the criteria for determining bud rot disease in oil palm plants at PTPN III Aek Nabara Utara.

Abstract

Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress and can be beneficial in some situations. They can alert us to danger and help us be prepared and pay attention. Anxiety disorders are different from normal feelings of nervousness or anxiety, and involve excessive fear or anxiety. Anxiety disorders can cause people to try to avoid situations that trigger or worsen their symptoms. There are several types of anxiety disorders, inclObsessive Compulsive Disorder. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a disorder in which people have repeated unwanted thoughts, ideas, or sensations (obsessions) that make them feel compelled to do something repeatedly (compulsions). Repetitive behaviors, such as hand washing, checking items, or cleaning, can significantly interfere with a person's daily activities and social interactions. Expert System that applies the MethodCertainty Factor this can help anyone to ensure that they have OCD and need the help of a psychologist to prevent this disorder from getting worse.

Abstract

Expert systems are a branch of artificial intelligence that studies how to adopt an expert's way of thinking in solving a problem and making a decision to reach a conclusion. In this case, an expert system is used to diagnose anemia. What was discussed was how to determine the type of disease, how to overcome anemia in society and designing an expert system using technology. anemia is caused by a lack of red blood cells or red blood cells that do not function in the body. This causes reduced oxygen flow to the body's organs. Vitamin B supplements can be used for low vitamin levels. The Bayes method is a method for producing parameter estimates by combining information from samples and other previously available information. Bayes' theorem is used to calculate the probability of an event occurring based on the influence obtained from the results of the observation. From several studies that have been carried out, solutions have been obtained to prevent anemia. Anemia can cause weakness and headaches due to lack of blood, which can lead to complications.

Abstract

NodeMCU is an open source IoT platform, NodeMCU ESP8266 can be used for Internet of Things (IOT) because the facilities are equipped with Wi-Fi, RFID is a process of identifying objects or objects using radio frequency, this device is widely sold in stores online at a very low price. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research, while the data collection method used is observation andto study, the design method uses the method postage type. This system tests every piece of hardware used and tests the software from a specific functional perspective. The result of this study is the teacher attendance system using Microcontroller NodeMCU ESP8266 replace the manual attendance recording model in the attendance book by writing the entry and rturn hours and filling in the teacher's signature with id card attached to the device RFID connected to microcontroller NodeMCU ESP8266. Thus, reducing the occurrence human error when recap attendance, and reduce paper use.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in Siamporik Village who have good celery planting skills, but lack knowledge about this celery plant disease. In the village of Siamporik, the skill of growing celery is due to the lack of detecting celery disease which makes the harvest unsatisfactory. To reduce yield losses, an expert system for diagnosing sop leaves (celery) was created so that it can detect plant diseases, using the Forward Channeling method, using the Web as an application, and using MySQL and Xampp databases.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an automated approach for nanoparticle segmentation within carbon composites using a U-Net model. Nanoparticles in carbon composites are critical for enhancing the mechanical and electrical properties of these materials, but manual detection and segmentation are challenging due to their minute size and dispersed distribution. In this study, a U-Net model with an encoder-decoder architecture was employed to segment scanning electron microscope (SEM) images of palladium-carbon (Pd/C) nanoparticles. The dataset comprised 750 SEM images, exhibiting diverse nanoparticle shapes and sizes. Preprocessing steps included image cropping to eliminate irrelevant regions and the application of Otsu Thresholding to generate ground truth segmentation masks. Model performance was assessed using metrics such as Intersection over Union (IoU), accuracy, and loss. The U-Net model demonstrated high segmentation accuracy, achieving rates between 92% and 95% after 20 training epochs. Additionally, the model was deployed via a Flask web application for real-time prediction. This work significantly advances the efficiency and accuracy of nanoparticle segmentation, offering promising applications in material science and industrial research.
