It includes articles based on empirical research and analysis (quantitative, qualitative and mixed method) and welcomes papers from a wide range of disciplinary and inter-disciplinary perspectives. The journal embraces the broad range of settings and ways in which vocational and professional learning takes place and, hence, is not restricted by institutional boundaries or structures in relation to national systems of education and training. It is interested in the study of curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment, as well as economic, cultural and political aspects related to the role of vocational and professional education and training in society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran program produktif TKR dilihat dari sudut evaluasi konteks, input, proses dan produk.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Model evaluasi yang digunakan adalah model CIPP (Konteks, Input, Proses, dan Produk). Sumber data adalah Kepala Sekolah, Waka Kurikulum, Waka Sarpras, Guru mata pelajaran produktif TKR, dan peserta didik kelas XI program keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan (TKR) dan dokumen-dokumen pembelajaran. Pengupulan data menggunakan angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif persentase.Hasil penelitian adalahevaluasi terhadap aspek konteks (context) termasuk baik (86,12%), evaluasi terhadap aspek masukan (input) termasuk baik (87,54%), evaluasi terhadap aspek proses (process) termasuk baik (78,69%), dan evaluasi terhadap aspek produk (product) termasuk (88,44%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran produktif Teknik Kendaraan Ringan termasuk baik dengan rata-rata 85,19%.This study aims to determine the extent of the implementation of learning programs TKR productive from the standpoint of context evaluation, input evaluation, process evaluation and product evaluation. This research is a descriptive evaluative research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Evaluation model used is the model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product). The data source is the Principal, Curriculum Waka, Waka Sarpras, Master TKR productive subjects, and students of class XI Light Vehicle Engineering program membership (TKR) and documents of learning. Pengupulan data using questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this research is descriptive analysis percentage. Results of the study is the evaluation of aspects of the context (context) includes both (86.12%), evaluation of the aspects of inputs (input) includes both (87.54%), evaluation of the aspects of the process (process) includes both (78.69%) and evaluation of the aspects of the product (product) including (88.44%). The results showed the implementation of learning productive Light Vehicle Engineering including well with an average of 85.19%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Pengaruh model pembelajaran proyek berorientasi Ecopreneurship terhadap hasil belajar praktik pengelasan di SMK; (2) Pengaruh motivasi terhadap hasil belajar praktik pengelasan di SMK; (3) Pengaruh interaksi model pembelajaran proyek berorientasi Ecopreneurship dan motivasi belajar siswa secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar praktik Pengelasan di SMK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan teknik Simple Random sampling yang dilakukan kepada 60 siswa. Pengambilan data diperoleh melalui angket dan tes serta dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji statistik anava dua jalan dengan interaksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada taraf signifikasi 5% : (1) Ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran proyek berorientasi Ecopreneurship terhadap hasil belajar praktik Pengelasan di SMK (2) Ada pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar praktik pengelasan di SMK. (3) Ada pengaruh interaksi model pembelajaran proyek berorientasi Ecopreneurship dan motivasi belajar siswa secara bersama -sama terhadap hasil belajar praktik Pengelasan di SMK. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran mobile learning teknik digital bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Elektro, menguji keefektifan dan kepraktisannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development. Tahapan proses penelitian ini antara lain: (1) tahap pendahuluan, berupa studi literatur, penelitian pendahuluan tentang penggunaan smartphone, menganalisis silabus, menentukan substansi materi dan obyek pembelajaran; (2) tahap pengembangan, membuat peta program pembelajaran yang diintegrasikan ke mobile learning teknik digital; (3) tahap validasi, dilakukan oleh pakar media dan materi. Setelah memperoleh validasi dengan kriteria yang layak, maka dapat diujikan. Pengujian dilakukan di Jurusan Teknik Elektro Universitas Negeri Semarang dengan melibatkan 10 mahasiswa uji coba kelompok kecil dan 31 mahasiswa uji lapangan. Metode pengumpulan data berupa soal tes dan angket. Hasil uji validasi media sebesar 83,25% (sangat layak), sedangkan validasi materi sebesar 95,5% (sangat layak). Hasil uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh skor rata-rata pre test 70,0 dan post test 89,0 dengan gain 0,63 (sedang). Hasil uji lapangan diperoleh skor rata-rata pre test 67,9 dan post test 85,2 dengan gain 0,54 (sedang). Hasil uji kepraktisan diperoleh 82,8% yang termasuk dalam kriteria sangat praktis. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan mobile learning teknik digital ini layak, efektif dan praktis digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran mata kuliah teknik digital. This study aimed to develop learning tools of digital technique mobile learning for Electrical Engineering Education students, to test the effectiveness and practicality. The study used Research and Development method. The steps in conducting this research include: (1) preliminary, by doing literature study, preliminary research on smartphone usage, analyzing syllabus, determining material substance and learning objects; (2) development, by making a map of learning program which was integrated into digital technique mobile learning; (3) validation by media and material experts. After validated, the media could be tested. The test was done at Electrical Engineering Department of Semarang State University involving 10 students of small group test and 31 students of field test. The methods of data collection were tests and questionnaires. The result of material validation was 95.5% (very feasible). The result of small group test obtained pre-test average score of 70.0 and post-test average of 89.0 with gain 0,63 (medium). Field test results obtained pre-test average score of 67.9 and post-test average score of 85.2 with gain 0,54 (medium). Practical test results obtained 82.8% which meant very practical. Thus, it could be concluded that the development of digital technique mobile learning was feasible to be used as learning media.
Pengembangan Media Informasi Pravokasional SMK bagi Siswa SMP di Kota Gorontalo

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan produk media informasi pravokasional untuk siswa SMP, mengetahui kevalidan media informasi pravokasional dalam memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada siswa SMP serta mengetahui kepraktisan penerapan media informasi pravokasional dalam memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman pada siswa SMP untuk melanjutkan studi ke SMK. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan dengan jenis media informasi berbasis WEB dapat diakses dengan mudah oleh pengguna yaitu siswa SMP. Hasil validasi materi dan validasi media dari masing-masing pakar menyebutkan persentase kevalidan materi sebesar 77% dan persentase kevalidan media sebesar 82%. Ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media informasi pravokasional “Sangat Valid”. Kepraktisan dari produk ini sebesar 34,5 dan memiliki kriteria sangat baik. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah media informasi pravokasional yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan layak menurut penilaian pakar. Media informasi pravokasional untuk siswa SMP yang dikembangkan memiliki nilai keefektifan dan kepraktisan yang tinggi, karena media tersebut dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami dan mengetahui program studi SMK secara mandiri. The purpose of this study was to produced pre-vocational information media product for junior high school students, to found out pre-vocational information media in giving understanding and knowledge for junior high school students, and also to find out in applying pre-vocational information media in giving understanding and knowledge for junior high school to continue their study at vocational school. Research and development method was used in this study. The result of this study explained the kinds of WEB based information media. Which could be accessed easily by junior high school students. The percentage of material and media validity from the expert was 77% and the percentage of media validity was 82%. It could be summarized that pe-vocational media information was very valid. Practically of this product was 34,5 and had good criteria. The result of this pre-vocational information media study which could be developed was valid and suitable based on expert opinion. Pre-vocational information media for junior high school students had practically and effectively higher value, because that media could help the student in understanding the study program at vocational school by them selves.

Abstract

Peranan penyuluh sangat penting dalam menyampaikan program pembangunan pertanian dan memberdayakan sumber daya manusia (petani). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kinerja penyuluh pertanian di Kabupaten Landak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode campuran dengan penekatan embedded congruent. Responden dalam penelitian ini diambil dari petani komoditas padi di Kabupaten Landak dengan wilayah sampel penelitian Kecamatan Ngabang, Kecamatan Sengah Temila, dan Kecamatan Menyuke. Pengambilan sampel ditentukan secara purposive berjumlah 90 orang dalam pengisian koesioner, 4 orang informan primer dan 3 orang informan sekunder. Hasil analisis kuantitatif menunjukan bahwa berdasarkan penilaian responden kinerja penyuluh pertanian rata-rata berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase masing-masing: faktor pembangunan sumber daya manusia (PSM) sebesar 71,33%, faktor pemindahan teknologi (PT) pertanian sebesar 70,09% dan faktor pengetahuan dan keterampilan metode penyuluhan sebesar 71,50%. Indikator yang menempati posisi paling tinggi diantaranya pengukuhan kegiatan sosial ekonomi, menyediakan dan menyebarkan informasi teknologi, dan metode penyuluhan kelompok/ meeting. Teknik pengukuran kinerja penyuluh pertanian dilakukan menggunakan instrumen berbentuk skala likert 4 tingkatan. The role of extension is crucial in delivering agricultural development programs and empowering human resources (farmers). The purpose of this research is to analyze the performance of agricultural extension workers in Landak regency. This research uses the mix methods with embedded congruent approach. The respondents in this research were taken from paddy farmers in Landak regency with the sample areas in Ngabang district, Sengah Temila district, and Menyuke district. The sampling was determined purposively which includes 90 people in filling the questioner, four primary informants and three secondary informants.The results of quantitative analysis based on the respondents' assessment towards the performance of the agricultural extension workers showed averagely at high category with the percentage of each: human resource development factor (PSM) 71.33%, agriculture technology transfer factor (PT) amounted to 70.09% and the extension methods knowledge and skills factor is 71.50%. The highest indicators are; the inauguration of social and economic activities, the provision and the dissemination of information technology, and the methods of counseling groups/ meetings. Measurement techniques of agricultural extension performance was done using a four levels likert scale instrument.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak sertifikasi profesi dan sertifikasi kompentensi  guru terhadap kinerja guru akuntansi SMK di Kabupaten Pekalongan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 55 guru akuntansi SMK yang tersebar di 13 SMK di Kabupaten Pekalongan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 32 orang guru akuntansi SMK yang telah memiliki sertifikasi profesi dan atau sertifikasi kompentensi. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket langsung yang dijawab oleh guru. Berdasarkan analisa deskriptif diperoleh hasil Sertifikasi profesi dan sertifikasi kompentensi berdampak positif terhadap kinerja guru akuntansi SMK, kinerja guru akuntansi yang bersertifikasi dalam kategori baik dan tinggi. Sertifikasi profesi dan sertifikasi kompentensi berdampak positif terhadap kinerja, guru yang memiliki sertifikasi profesi dan sertifikasi kompentensi (SPSK) memiliki kinerja dalam kompentensi profesional lebih baik dibandingkan guru yang hanya memiliki sertifikasi profesi (SP) dan guru yang hanya memiliki sertifikasi kompentensi (SK) saja. This study aims to determine the impact of professional certification and certification of competence of teachers on teacher performance accounting vocational school in Pekalongan. The study population was 55 accounting vocational teachers across 13 vocational schools in Pekalongan. The sample in this study were 32 teachers who already have a vocational accounting professional certification or certification of competence. Data were collected through questionnaires answered by the teacher directly. Based on descriptive analize get the result that the profession certification and compentence certification have positive impact to accounting teacher of vocational high school performance. Those can be proved with research result that show accounting teacher of vocational high school performance in high category. The profession certification and compentence certification have positive impact to accounting teacher of vocational high school performance in pedagogic compentency.The profession certification and compentence certification have positive impact to accounting teacher of vocational high school performance in teacher professional competency that shown in high category.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan model pelatihan vokasional berbasis pemanfaatan rebung bambu pada masyarakat desa Paloan kecamatan Sengah Temila Kabupaten Landak yang valid dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development. Tahap penelitian diawali dengan pengumpulan informasi dan studi literatur. Tahap pengembangan ialah mendesain model, validasi oleh ahli dan praktisi, serta uji coba model secara terbatas. Desain uji coba terbatas menggunakan pre-experimental design dengan one group pretest dan posttest, kemudian hasilnya dianalisis menggunakan uji normalized gain dan uji statistik non parametrik wilcoxon match pairs test. Model pelatihan vokasional berbasis pemanfaatan rebung bambu menekankan kurikulum pelatihan yang fokus pada peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengolah dan mengemas rebung bambu menjadi produk rebung kering yang bernilai pasar. Materi, metode, strategi pelaksanaan dan media pembelajaran dalam model disesuaikan dengan tujuan utama pelatihan. Model pelatihan vokasional yang dikembangkan dikategorikan sangat valid. Hasil uji coba terbatas menunjukkan bahwa model pelatihan vokasional berbasis pemanfaatan rebung bambu efektif untuk meningkatkan aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan teknis peserta pelatihan. The purpose of this research is to produce vocational training model based on the utilization of bamboo shoots in the Paloan Rural Community of Sengah Temila District of Landak Regency which can be properly valid and effective. This research uses the Research and Development method. The research phase begins with the collection of information and literature studies. The development phase consists of the model design, validation by experts and practitioners, and a limited test models. The limited trial design uses pre-experimental design with one group pretest and posttest design then the results were analyzed by using gain normalized and non parametric statistical test of Wilcoxon match pairs test. Vocational training model based on the utilization of bamboo shoots emphasizes on the training curriculum that focuses on the increasing of knowledge and skills to process and to pack the bamboo shoots into dried bamboo shoots product which is economically more valuable. The materials, methods, implementation strategies and learning media in the model were adjusted for the main purpose of the training. The result showed that vocational training model was developed considered as valid. The result of limited testing indicates that vocational training model which is based on the utilization of bamboo shoots is effective to improve the technical aspects of the knowledge and skills of trainees.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian, diantaranya menguraikan bagaimana pelaksanaan standar proses, menganalisis seberapa tingkat kesenjangannya dan merancang bagaimana solusi permasalahan terkait kesenjangan pelaksanan standar proses. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Aspek dalam penelitian ini adalah (a) perencanaan pembelajaran; (b) pelaksanaan pembelajaran; (c) penilaian hasil belajar; (d) pengawasan oleh kepala sekolah. Teknik pengumpulaan data, yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam hal perencanaan pembelajaran diperoleh kriteria tidak senjang, artinya pada kegiatan perencanaan tidak banyak guru yang mengabaikan standar yang ditetapkan oleh Permendikbud No. 65 tahun 2013. Hasil analisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran diperoleh kriteria cukup senjang, artinya standar proses yang ditetapkan belum sepenuhnya dilaksanakan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pada kegiatan penilaian masih diperoleh hasil cukup senjang, artinya masih terdapat ketentuan yang belum diterapkan. Hasil analisis pada komponen pengawasan memberikan kesimpulan jika masih terdapat kepala sekolah yang tidak menjalankan fungsinya sebagai pengawas internal. Therefore, the aims of study are to investigate the implementation of the standard process, analyze the discrepancy rate and design the solution toward the issue of discrepancy. This research uses the quantitative descriptive approach. There are several aspects investigated; (a) lesson plan, (b) learning process, (c) evaluation of learning result, and (d) headmasters’ control. To collect the data, the methods of observation, interview, and documentation are used. The result is explained in form of criteria. It is no discrepancy for lesson plans, means that most of the lesson plans are in accord with the Basic Principles issued by Ministry of Education and Culture Number 65 in 2013. The learning process has a quite discrepancy rate, means the standard process is incompletely applied; so does the evaluation which ignores several principles to apply. It is also noted that some headmasters ignore their function as an internal supervisor. To sum up, the discrepancy issue needs further concrete solution.

Abstract

Vocational High School graduates are expected to have work experience in industry and ready to enter the workforce. Industrial work practice (Prakerin) is a learning program that must be implemented by students in the industrial world. Prakerin program is organized together between school and the world of work to meet the students' need for competencies that are unworkable in schools. There are still major obstacles in monitoring the implementation of Prakerin due to distance and time problems. These constraints are expected to be solved using information system.This research and development aims to produce an effective and effective information system on industrial work practice monitoring to be used in vocational high school. This study developed information system named "Simorin" which is an acronym of the Industrial Work Practice Monitoring Information System. The method used in the study was research and development (R D). Stages in this study included analysis phase, data requirement by using literature study and field study. The test phase was performed with validation and revision followed by a limited trial of Simorin products.Based on the development, test and analysis, it can be concluded that Simorin was feasible and effective for use in Prakerin monitoring process in terms of usability. Students, Teachers and industries could communicate with each other in real time. Recommendation of further development of Simorin is that it can be integrated with distance learning (e-learning).
