Abstract

This research aims to find out the performance of sharia stock mutual funds in the Indonesian Capital Market based on sharpe, treynor and jensen methods and to find out the comparison of the performance of sharia stock mutual funds with benchmark performance in the research period of 2017-2018. This type of research is evaluative research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study includes all sharia mutual funds registered and still active in the Financial Services Authority (OJK) until December 2018. Sampling techniques used purposive sampling techniques and obtained 23 sharia stock mutual funds as a research sample. Data analysis techniques are descriptively analyzed, the data obtained is collected and then processed with the appropriate formulas on the operational definition of measurement and research variables. To make data processing easier using microsoft excel programs.  Based on the analysis of islamic stock fund performance data according to sharpe method in 2017 there are 7 sharia stock mutual funds that show positive performance, and in 2018 there were 3 sharia stock mutual funds showing positive performance. Meanwhile, according to treynor method in 2017 there were 7 sharia stock mutual funds that showed positive performance, and in 2018 there were 3 sharia stock mutual funds that showed positive performance. Meanwhile, according to jensen method in 2017 there are 6 sharia stock mutual funds that showed positive performance, and in 2018 there were 5 sharia stock mutual funds that showed positive performance. Based on the results of the comparison of the performance of sharia stock mutual funds with benchmarks in the period 2017 according to sharpe method there are 5 sharia stock mutual funds that have outperform performance, and in the period 2018 there are 3 sharia stock mutual funds that have outperform performance. Meanwhile, according to treynor method in 2017 there are 1 sharia stock mutual fund that has outperform performance, and in 2018 there are 20 sharia stock mutual funds that have outperform performance. While according to jensen method in 2017 there are no sharia stock mutual funds that have outperform performance, and in the period 2018 there are 23 sharia stock mutual funds that have outperform performance. And there are 2 sharia stock mutual funds that consistently perform best against market performance during the research period, namely Sucorinvest Sharia Equity Fund sharia stock mutual fund and Sharia Pacific Saham Syariah stock fund.

Abstract

 The purpose of this paper is to identify the effect of Auditor Ethics, Auditor Experience, Audit Fees, and Auditor’s Motivation on Audit Quality.The population of this research is the Auditor at the Public Accountant Office in Semarang. The sampling technique uses Simple Random Sampling. The data used in this study are primary data taken by distributing questionnaires. The analysis model uses multiple linear regression analysis models, while the analysis technique uses the Statistical Test F, the Coefficient of Determination (, and the Statistical test t.The results of the analysis and discussion showed that the auditor's ethical variables, auditor's experience, audit fees, and auditor's motivation simultaneously had a significant effect on audit quality. Auditor ethics, auditor experience, and Auditor Motivation on the quality of each audit partially significant effect on audit quality. Whereas Audit Fee partially has no significant effect on Audit Quality.

Abstract

The rise of fictitious financing carried out by unscruplous bank employees makes people doubt the truth of the contents of financial statements issued by banks. This can be bad for Islamic Banks in Indonesia that are developing rapidly. To prevent this from happening again and again, Islamic Banks can conduct periodic audits to anticipate fraud at Islamic Banks. This research aims to determine the effect of tenure, audit specialization and audit committee on audit quality both simultaneously and partially. The population in this research is all Islamic Banking in Indonesia amounting to 14 banks. While the sampling technique used was purposive sampling in the category of Islamic Banking which issued financial statements from 2014 – 2018 which produced 13 samples of Islamic Banks. This study uses multiple linier regression analysis method using IBM SPSS Statistics 24. From this research it can be concluded that simultaneously the variables of tenure, audit specialization and audit committee have a significant effect on audit quality. But only affect around 29,5%. partially, only audit committee has a significant effect on audit quality. While audit soecialization is removed as an indicator of audit quality because it is considered constant.

Abstract

Technology start-ups from FinTech firms offer more convenient user experiences for example better user interfaces for the mobile management of personal finance. Besides that also lower prices and better quality for example faster speed for traditional products such as payment services. This study aims to identify and overview key risks and impact of FinTech on sharia banks in Indonesia to improving bank performance. The result of this study shows that shariah banking Indonesia needs synergy with FinTech firms to increase their performance and market share.
