Abstract

This study aims to analyze how to use the RIMS risk maturity model to evaluate the implementation of risk management in a law enforcement agency in Indonesia in investigating corruption and the gap between the existing implementation and the ideal conditions as suggested in the RIMS Risk Maturity Model. This descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach obtained data from external sources of the organization in the form of literature data and internal sources of the organization in direct observations, document analysis, and interviews with related parties within the organization. This research provides a tool for organizations, particularly organizations similar to the object of this research, to assess how to implement risk management processes by following general best practices. The maturity assessment results show that the risk management maturity level in the XYZ agency is in the Tier-2 position, and there is still a large gap between the current condition and the target maturity level. The XYZ agency should immediately start integrating risk management into all business processes and performance management to improve its risk management maturity level.

Abstract

NFT has many applications which the investors can utilize to invest their assets, for example, in-game assets, educational certificates, and many more. Furthermore, NFT also triggers investors and companies to invest in it because it is a concept related to Intellectual Property, including copyright, trademark, and patent (Bamakan et al., 2022). NFTs have turned online art such as images, paint documents, and more into assets that can be purchased and owned, and creates a value for them and value tends to be unpredictable. NFT (Non-fungible token) is important to study because it is still a new concept, but has provided several advantages for the buyers or investors. Purchasing an NFT would officially grant users ownership over the unique asset, digital art, or collectible. This research intends to identify the correlation between these constructs from the influence of user-generated content. The data samples are collected through random sampling, university students who may have prior or no involvement in NFTs. This study used a qualitative approach to collect the information regarding their behavior in investing in NFT. The questions were separated into four categories based on each of the constructs. The R² value of those constructs is in the range of moderate to weak, and the predictive relevance of the constructs is accurate and significant. This research is but a limited, brief, and small-scale analysis of how user-generated content can have an influence on these driving factors that ultimately lead to the decision of investing in NFTs.

Abstract

This research discusses the analysis of strategies to improve the quality of Budget Performance Information using logic models framework in implementing the Redesign of Planning and Budgeting Systems, which will be carried out in all institutions starting in the 2021 fiscal year. Other researchers have found that redesigning the planning and budgeting system is insufficient to create an effective and efficient budget. The problem is that the performance information inscribed in planning and budgeting documents is still challenging to understand from internal and external institutions. The question in this study is about strategies to improve the quality of the formulation of Programs, Activities, Outputs, and Outcomes by using a logical model in government institutions X. The performance information between the Output of the Activity and the Output of the Program with the Outcomes can lead to less logical and non-mutually supportive without using a logical model framework. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive case study. Data collection is through document analysis and interviews with parties directly involved in the core process. The analysis results show that logical models have not been the leading framework in planning and budgeting. It is also that not all parties related to the process understand the logical model framework. The results imply that the use of logical models sufficiently affects the quality of the resulting budget performance information.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of growth and production of several varieties of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutencens L Var Cengek) to various concentrations of liquid organic fertilizer of banana weevil and whether or not the interaction between these two factors is significant. This research was carried out in the Mampang Village where the research was conducted starting from April 1, 2022 until its completion. The design used in this study was a 5 x 5 factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 3 replications. Factors studied include the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer banana weevil and varieties. The banana weevil POC concentration factor (K) consists of 6 levels, namely K0 = 0 (Control), K1 = 10% (100 ml POC / 900 ml water), K2 = 20% (200 ml POC / 800 ml water), K3 = 30% (300 ml POC/ 700 ml water), K4 = 40% (400 ml POC/ 600 ml water) and K5 = 50% (500 ml POC/ 500 ml water). The variety factor (V) consists of 3 levels, namely V1 = Genie, V2 = Genie, and V3 = Genie. The variables observed were plant height, stem diameter, number of fruit, fruit weight and production per hectare. The results of the F test on analysis of variance showed that the concentration of banana weevil POC had a very significant effect on stem diameters at 20 and 30 DAP, number of fruits, fruit weight and production per ha. Significant effect on plant height 20, 30 and 40 DAP, stem diameter 40 DAP. Varieties significantly affected plant height 30 and 40 DAP, stem diameter 20, 30 and 40 DAP, number of fruits, fruit weight and production per ha. However, it had no significant effect on plant height at 20 DAP. There was no interaction between the concentration of banana weevil POC and varieties on all observed variables.

The method used in this study is a descriptive type of qualitative method. The technique of determining the informants used purposive sampling technique, as well as data collection by conducting observations and documentation to the relocation location. Based on the research phenomenon related to relocation, described the factors that are considered to influence the implementation of policies according to the theory of George C. Edward III. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the policies implemented has been going well, although there are still community complaints and problems regarding delays in the construction of residential houses, insufficient availability of farming land, population administration, facilities and infrastructure are not maximized. Supporting factors in the implementation of this policy are standards and targets as well as good relations between organizations and related institutions. Factors that hinder policy implementation are: budget constraints, inadequate relocation land, social conditions and invalid population administration. Recommendations resulting from this research are for the Government to be more active in disseminating policies; propose additional budget to the Central Government, and as soon as possible propose a land use permit for relocation locations to the Central Government
