<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of HDI on poverty levels in Wast Sumatra, the efect of economic growth on poverty levels in West Sumatra, the effect of HDI ang economic growth on poverty levels in West Sumatra. This type of research is descriptive and associative, the data used is panel data where the research was conducted in West Sumatra in 2013-2018. This study uses the Eviews 10 Application, the model chosen is Random Effect. In the HDI variable obtained t value ≥ t-table value, meaning that there is a significant influence between HDI and poverty level. While the economic growth variable is obtained by t-count≤-t-table, meaning that there is no significant effect between economic growth on poverty levels. In addition, the F-calculated value of 40,48524 with a probability value of 0,000000≤0,05 means that there is a significant influence between the dependent variable on the independent variable. From this research, it is expected that government will further improve and equalize the quality of human resources in West Sumatra as well as a balance between capital-intensive and labor-intensive industries, so that economic growth can provide direct benefits for the people in West Sumatra.Keywords: kemiskinan, indeks pembangunan manusia, pertumbuhan ekonomi.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of cooperative business activities requires professional management of cooperatives, especially in the aspects of financial management. As a company, cooperatives certainly need good financial management so that cooperative business activities can run well. The limited knowledge of cooperative management on accounting knowledge, results in financial reporting that is not well structured and non-standardized, making it difficult for cooperatives to maintain and improve their capital. Koperasi Produsen Aneka Sulaman Agam regency is a cooperative that participates in government programs to develop Regional Superior Products with the One Village One Product (OVOP) Approach, therefore it requires reliable management. <![CDATA[This study aims to: 1) analyze the effect of learning motivation on student achievement. 2) analyze the effect of e-learning utilization on student achievement. 3) To analyze the effect of learning motivation and e-learning utilization student achievement. Thie type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study are students of the Department of Economic Education, FE UNP in 2017-2018. The sample are 100 peoplestudent. The type of data in this study are secondary data and primary data. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The data that has been collected is analyzed by descriptive analysis. This research uses multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that 1) learning motivation does not significantly influence student achievement. 2)utilization of e-learning has no significant effect on student achievement and 3) learning motivation and utilization of e-learning have no significant effect on learning achievement student achievement departement of economic education UNP.Keywords : motivation to learn, the use of elearning, the use of elearning]]>

<![CDATA[The research aims to identify and analysis the effect of Entrepreneuship character, Entrepreneurhip interest and family environment on student Entrepreneurhip activity in Universitas Negeri Padang. The population in the research were qualifying for pass funded PKM-K and PMW 2018 in Universitas Negeri Padang. The analytical method used is path analysis using the SPSS version 21 program. The result show that 1) entrepreneurship character have a significant effect on entrepreneurial interest of student in Universitas Negeri Padang (62,4%.) 2) The family environment have a significant effect on entrepreneurial interest of students in Universitas Negeri Padang (39,1%). 3) entrepreneurship character have a significant effect on entrepreneurial activity of student in Universitas Negeri Padang (61,9%). 4) The family environment have a significant effect on entrepreneurial activity of students in Universitas Negeri Padang (41,1%). 5) Interest in entrepreneurship has a significant negative effect on student entrepreneurial activity at Universitas Negeri Padang (-39,5%).Keywords: entrepreneurship character, entrepreneurship interest, family environment, entrepreneurship activity]]>

<![CDATA[The research aims to determine the effect of liquidity, activity, profitability and leverage on the financial distress of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2014-2018 period. The population is 161 companies with 805 data. The sample technique uses purposive sampling and simple random sampling to get a sample of 64 companies with 320 data, the number of samples used is 256 valid data and in accordance with the required criteria. Data analysis technique used logistic regression analysis. Based on the results of logistic regression analysis with a significance level of 5% the results of the study concluded: 1) Liquidity, activity, profitability and leverage affect the financial distress with a significance value of 0,000 < 0.05 and independent variables can hear iden the occurrence of the dependent variable of 83,8% . 2) Liquidity does not affect the financial distress with a significance value of 0.199 > 0.05. 3) Activities affect the financial distress with a significance value of 0.041 < 0.05. 4) Profitability affects the financial distress with a significance value of 0,000 < 0.05. 5) Leverage affects the financial distres with a significance value of 0,000 < 0.05.Keywords: liquidity, activity, profitability, leverage, financial distress.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determined the effectiveness and contribution of local revenues in the city of bukittinggi in 2011-2018. The type of research used is a descriptive research and using the analysis of contributions and analysis effectiveness. The type of data used was secondary data.Based on the research results obtained by the results of 1) the contribution of local taxes is in good criteria with an average of 42.40 percent. The effectiveness municipal tax is on the effective criteria with an average of 98.16 percent.2) the contribution of regional retribution is in the medium criteria with an average of 29.38 percent. The effectiveness of regional is on the effective criteria with an average of 99.52 percent. 3)contribution of the results of the management of separated regional wealth is in the very poor criteria with an average of 6.06 percent. The effectiveness of the results of the management of the separated regional wealth is in the very effective criteria with an average of 100.65 percent. 4) other legitimate local government revenue contributions local government revenue are in the medium criteria with an average of 22.16 percent. The effectiveness of other legitimate local government revenue is very effective with an average of 120.31 percent. For the future, the local government of bukittinggi should further optimize the management of the regional wealth separated in order to make a great contribution to the original revenue of the city of bukittinggi. <![CDATA[This study aims to determine the direct influence of spiritual intelligence and peer relationship on economic learning achievement of class X SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung in the 2018/2019 school year. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population of this study were all students of class X SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung in the academic year 2018/2019 with a total of 364 students. The sampling technique is proportional random smpling with a sample size of 190 respondents. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis, normality test, heterokedasticity tes, multicollinearity test, multiple regression analysis, F test, and t test. The result of this study indicates that: 1) spiritual intelligence has a positive and significant effect on economic learning achievement, 2) peer relations has a positive and significant effect on economic learning achievement, 3) spiritual intelligence and peer relationship has a significant effect on economic learning achievement. In an effort tp improve economic learning achievement of class X students of SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung Academic Year 2018/2019, student is expected to be able to increase spiritual intelligence and pay attention to peer relationship that have a positive influence to improve learning achievement of economic subjects.Keyword: spiritual intelligence, peer relationship, learning achievement]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to reveal the Effect of Online Tutoring (Ruangguru) and Learning Interests on Economic Learning Outcomes of Class X Students in SMA N 3 Padang. This research is an Associative Descriptive with a Quantitative approach. The population in this study amount of class X students in SMA N 3 Padang who took Bimbel Online (Ruangguru), which totaled 135 person. The sampling technique uses a proportional random sampling technique which amounts to 58 people. The data is obtained through a questionnaire using a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis and inductive analysis. For testing the hypothesis that is t test and f test. Based on the results of t-test hypotheses the influence of online tutoring (Ruangguru) on learning outcomes is influential and positive on economic learning outcomes, t-test students' learning interest has an effect and negative on economic learning outcomes. While the f test simultaneously influences online tutoring (Ruangguru) and interest in learning towards economic learning outcomes. The magnitude of the influence of online tutoring (Ruangguru) and interest in learning towards economic learning outcomes is 11% and the remaining 89% is influenced by other variables not included in this research model. <![CDATA[This study aims to look at the influence of Financial Literacy and the effect of Risk Perception on the investment decisions of millennial generation of Padang City. The type of this research is a comparative causal research (causative). The samplesof this study was 96 respondents ofmillennial generation of Padang City that choosed by using purposive sampling method. The types of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data was collected by questionnairy technique and it was analysed byusing multiple regression analysis method. The instrument testing uses validity and reliability tests. The analysis prerequisite tests conducted include normality test, heterokedasticity test and multicollinearity test. The data collected was processed with SPSS version 20.0. The results of this study indicate that both of Financial Literacy and Risk Perception has a significant positive effect on investment decisions of millennial generation of Padang City. <![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the mapping of attriutes of soft skills prepared by the Institute of Economics at the State University of Padang with what is needed by the Business and Industry World in Padang that accepts students of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Padang to do an internship. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The study was conducted using a purposive sampling technique as for sources and several key informants through the results of questionnaires and in-depth interveiws or in-depth interviews directly to teh object of research. To test the validity of the data triangulation techniques are used. Based on information from this research informant, it can be explained that the soft skills atrributes needed by the business and industry world in Padang City consist: 1) initiative 2) work in teams 3) ethics/integrity 4) reliable 5) time management. These five attributes are very much needed by the business and industrial world focuses more on these city of Padang, but even though the business and industrial world focuses more on these five attributes, it does not mean that other soft skills attributes are not needed. There are several attributes of soft skills that have not ben prepared by the UNP Faculty of Economics institutions which are demands from the business and industrial world, including: 1) reliable 2) time management 3) commitment 4) self-management 5) enthusiasm 6) solving problems 7) can overcome stress 8) independent 9) motivation 10)tough 11) willingness to learn 12) cooperating 13) flexible 14) listening 15) analytical skills 16) critical thinking 17) can summarize, and 18) logically argue.
