Abstract

This study examines the implementation and impact of Ministry of Finance Regulation No. 212/PMK.07/2022 on the 2023 Regional Budget (APBD) formulation in Madiun City. The regulation restructures the General Allocation Fund (DAU) from a block grant to a conditional grant with specific allocations for education, health, infrastructure, PPPK salaries, and urban village funding. This change disrupted the original APBD draft, prepared in January 2022, and required revisions to comply with the new rules. Previously, the DAU was a flexible block grant, budgeted based on the previous year. PMK 212 replaced the earlier regulation that only addressed suspension and reduction of transfer funds, introducing stricter use guidelines. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method through interviews with BKAD officials and analysis of financial documents. Findings show that the regulation reduced budget flexibility, increased administrative burdens, and limited local fiscal autonomy, but improved transparency, accountability, and alignment with national priorities. BKAD responded by issuing internal guidelines and restructuring planning processes. The study concludes that while PMK 212 strengthens fiscal discipline, it diminishes responsiveness to local needs. The managerial implication is the need for improved technical coordination and adaptive planning to address conditional funding constraints in future budgets.

Abstract

This study aims to provide comprehensive insights into loan disbursement procedures, risk evaluation, and the role of Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) in promoting financial inclusion. A qualitative research method was employed, using observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection. The research was conducted at Artha Kertaraharja Microfinance Institution located in Cikupa, Tangerang Regency, with a focus on evaluating risk management in loan disbursement activities. Data were obtained through structured and semi-structured interviews and document analysis. The findings indicate that Artha Kertaraharja MFI primarily provides microloans and multi-purpose business loans to strengthen working capital, improve living standards, and support regional economic development. The loan disbursement process includes assessing borrower profiles, determining loan amounts, and analyzing owned assets. Risk evaluation plays a crucial role in this process. The MFI applies the Rate Payment Capacity (RPC) method to assess credit risk by calculating borrowers’ net income after household and business expenses to measure repayment ability. Additionally, Artha Kertaraharja MFI implements persuasive, non-coercive collection approaches, offers preventive solutions, and provides credit insurance for borrowers experiencing serious repayment difficulties

Abstract

The development of business types in Indonesia is increasing, marked by the emergence of many new types of businesses, one of which is the culinary business. This situation has led to intense competition among business actors. The purpose of this study is to see the influence of atmosphere, product quality, and service quality on customer satisfaction with coffee drinks at the "Kopi Dari Hati" shop in Bogor Regency. Quantitative methods are used for data collection with observation, questionnaires, documentation, and interviews. This study uses a non-probability sampling technique with a convenience sampling method on 155 respondents whose validity and reliability have been tested. The results of this study show that the atmosphere does not have a partial significant effect of -0.363 < t table with sig. 0.717 on customer satisfaction, product quality has a partial significant effect of 5.422 > t table with sig. 0.000 on customer satisfaction and service quality does not have a partial significant effect of 1.809 < t table with sig. 0.072 on customer satisfaction. Simultaneously, atmosphere, product quality, and service quality have a positive and significant effect of 27.462 > f table with sig. 0.000 < 0.05 on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study examines changes in foreign direct investment (FDI) location and sectoral patterns in Indonesia before and during the COVID-19 pandemic by comparing primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors using descriptive quantitative analysis of BKPM data from 2019–2022. The findings reveal persistent sectoral and geographical differences: primary sector FDI remains concentrated in resource-rich regions such as Sumatra and Kalimantan, while secondary and tertiary sector investments continue to cluster in Java, particularly in industrial and urban areas. Despite the global uncertainty caused by the pandemic, no fundamental shift in sectoral location preferences is observed, indicating structural stability in Indonesia’s FDI determinants. The study contributes original insights by integrating sectoral classification with sub-national location analysis during a crisis period, an aspect that has received limited attention in prior FDI literature. The implications of this research are twofold: theoretically, it extends FDI location theory by demonstrating the resilience of sector-specific location advantages under conditions of uncertainty; practically, it provides policymakers with evidence to design targeted regional investment strategies that align infrastructure development, resource endowments, and market accessibility with sectoral investment needs in emerging markets such as Indonesia

Abstract

The growth of the financing industry in Indonesia has increased the need for effective credit analysis to maintain service quality and manage credit risk. Previous studies mainly emphasize quantitative risk assessment, while limited attention has been given to evaluating the effectiveness of credit analysis procedures at the operational branch level. This study aims to analyze the process and effectiveness of credit analysis procedures for new car financing at PT Clipan Finance Indonesia, Bekasi Branch. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the credit analysis process involves debtor data collection, field surveys, creditworthiness assessment by credit analysts, and layered managerial approval based on internal policies. During January–May 2025, 83 financing applications were processed, with 67% approved and 33% rejected due to failure to meet eligibility criteria. Overall, the credit analysis procedures were effective in assessing debtor capability and eligibility. However, challenges remain in document verification and interdepartmental coordination. The study suggests strengthening document validation and improving coordination to enhance credit analysis effectiveness

Abstract

This paper reviews the literature at the intersection of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Differential Equations (IFDEs) and economic modeling, emphasizing their potential to explain economic cycle dynamics under uncertainty. The review identifies a clear research gap, as no existing studies explicitly apply IFDE-based models to economic cycles. To address this gap, the paper synthesizes two related research streams: the mathematical foundations of IFDEs and the application of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFS) in economics and finance. The analysis shows that IFDEs extend conventional fuzzy and differential equation models by incorporating membership (µ), non-membership (ν), and hesitation (π) degrees, allowing uncertainty and behavioral ambiguity to be modeled endogenously. Based on this synthesis, a conceptual IFDE-based framework for economic cycle analysis is proposed. Simulation experiments using Indonesia’s macroeconomic data indicate that second-order IFDE models can detect expansion–contraction transition phases 20–30% earlier than classical models and uncover policy-induced uncertainty bands overlooked by standard approaches. These results suggest that IFDEs provide a valuable decision-support tool for policymakers in structurally volatile economies.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of brand awareness and product quality on purchase intention, with content marketing acting as both a mediating and moderating variable. The research was conducted at Tuku Coffee Cempaka Putih, a well-known coffee brand among Generation Z consumers. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 381 respondents through purposive sampling and analyzed with Jamovi 2.6.19. The findings reveal that brand awareness and product quality have positive and statistically significant direct effects on purchase intention. Content marketing plays a dual role by significantly mediating and strengthening the relationship between brand awareness, product quality, and purchase intention, with medium-to-strong effect sizes. These results indicate that effective social media–based content marketing enhances brand recall and perceived product quality while amplifying their influence on consumers’ purchase intentions. The novelty of this study lies in demonstrating the simultaneous mediating and moderating roles of content marketing within a single empirical model, particularly among Generation Z consumers in the coffee retail industry. Practically, the findings offer valuable insights for brand managers, digital marketers, and SME owners in developing strategic content marketing to strengthen brand positioning, expand market reach, and build long-term customer loyalty

Abstract

This study examines the cognitive mechanisms underlying university students’ entrepreneurial intentions by analyzing the interplay of push and pull factors. Using a qualitative system dynamics approach through Group Model Building (GMB), a Causal Loop Diagram (CLD) was co-developed with 13 student-entrepreneurs, identifying fifteen interconnected cognitive drivers shaping entrepreneurial decision-making. The results reveal that pull factors particularly self-fulfillment, perceived opportunity, and supportive environments play a dominant role, while push factors primarily act as triggers that intensify entrepreneurial engagement. The CLD further uncovers reinforcing feedback loops in which entrepreneurial action enhances financial capability, social support, and self-efficacy, thereby sustaining intention over time. From a managerial perspective, the findings suggest that universities and policymakers should design entrepreneurship programs that simultaneously reduce barriers to employment dissatisfaction and strengthen opportunity-driven motivations, supported by experiential learning and ecosystem facilitation. Academically, this study contributes by integrating push–pull theory with cognitive mapping and system dynamics, offering a dynamic, feedback-based explanation of entrepreneurial intention that extends beyond static, variable-centered models.
